Bill wrote this piece, here, about Vanderboegh's most recent attack.
As most know I have abided a self-imposed cease-fire since November regarding Vanderboegh, yet the guy just can't seem to evict me from his head. I thank everyone who has written, publicly and privately.
The list of Patriots that Mike has attacked is long and well-known. He insists on throwing the Community into divisive fights far too often.
Leave me alone, Mike.

Our Enemy is Domestic...
Let us assume for the sake of discussion that everything posited by the White House regarding Osama's capture & disposal is factual.
Now step back and consider the details objectively, as would the Citizen of any other nation but our own. What do you conclude?
Osama, we are told, masterminded the murder of thousands of Americans. Chasing him has led us into wars where many thousands of our fighting men have died. We have spent trillions on the "War on Terror" that was a result of Osama bin Laden's efforts.
When we find him and kill him, our Leaders insist that his body be treated in accord with his religious beliefs. Some poor Military doctor or religious officer was ordered to treat the corpse of a murderer of Americans with reverence, wash it and prepare it for proper burial.
Then we dump the body at sea within the proscribed Muslim custom of 24 hours.
What do you see as a Citizen of another country as you watch how America handled this situation? Do you think us civilized and more evolved than the heathens we fight?
Or do you take away that Americans have become soft, too effete to live in the real world and lead? Do you take away that American leaders are more worried about the sensibilities of the world's Muslims than the sensibilities of her own and her dead?
Would you follow such an America into the fires of Hell to save the world from Muslim Slavery?
As an American, what are your thoughts? Do you think it more proper to yield to the customs of the murderer's religion, or would you prefer that our Leaders act as would Patton or other Leaders from our past?
Would you not feel better as an American if our Leaders ordered the corpse brought to New York City, placed in a vaccum sealed glass case and put on display without one single change? Let passersby see what a double-tap from an American pistol will do to a brain case.
Is it more important to worry about the sensibilities of the world, or of Americans?
Personally, I would have ordered the corpse sealed into the glass case and built into the new Ground Zero building. Consider the satisfaction of every American who has been forced to suffer because of Osama. Consider the tourism revenue to New York City!
Most importantly, consider the value of making every other idiot in the world think twice about hunting Americans.
When next you must vote, or when the implosion happens and the rules change, consider that our current Political Class would reverantly bury the corpse of an enemy murderer, while forcing your family to endure the indignities of TSA.
And the billion+ Muslims who would be offended and come at us?
Bring it.
That's my America. I have no use for this version in which we live today.

Denninger: These facts and needs are not optional. We are headed straight for a brick wall at 100mph. The dollar is in freefall as a direct consequence of the acts of our government. The currency's strength is determined by the belief in the market of future ability to levy and collect taxes, for that is all that the government has as a means of funding. The market is telling you that this ability is in serious doubt, as the government continues to run up the credit card and its outstanding debt as compared to its income has risen to ridiculous levels. We have some $14.28 trillion in debt outstanding right now, but the federal government only collects about $2.1 trillion a year in tax revenues. That is, we're in debt as a nation nearly seven times our income.
Consider what we are not discussing today, and you will recognize what "They" think is important.

Osama is dead? So What?
I like the fact that there are still a few Americans who can cheer the death of an enemy.
There ends my positive assessment of the death of Osama.
Osama never tried to put his hands on my family at an airport. Osama never violated the 4th Amendment in a major city where my Countrymen must open their belongings, at gunpoint, to random searches by LEO. Osama never made an argument that 2A should be restricted because the "Gunshow Loophole" is a way to provide weapons to Terrorists. Osama never tapped my phone, invaded my computer, or stole a dime from my paychecks.
Osama never inflicted one single hardship in my life as that imposed by my own Countrymen.
Osama is simply one aspiring tyrant and murderer of Americans who needed killin'.
There are many. Most of them live within our borders.

Osama Killed...
So, Osama is dead?
OK. Pundits are already screaming about this being a game changer.
Yeah...
He is now a martyr, and martyrs move the world.
UPDATE: Report circulating that Osama was buried at sea, here. Oh, really? Now, doesn't that lead to several interesting places...
If you were an Administration, up to your butt in alligators, how better to change the topic than to kill a national enemy, claim you identified him with DNA, and dump the body at sea so there is no evidence but that put forth by the same crew who can't even forge a proper birth certificate, and unleash every conspiracy theorist to chew on this red meat for a while...
It will be interesting to see if this report proves out.
But remember: It's only a Sparklie!

Gun Ownership decline...
While I doubt the details, I do not doubt that there is an unhealthy trend that is unfavorable for Liberty. Every crop of New Americans is further removed from 2A fundamentals. While 2009 saw 14 million more firearms sold, how many were to new, first-time buyers?
Pay particular attention to the reasons listed for diminishing gun ownership: Key factors cited by the report contributing to the continuing decline in household and personal gun ownership include: the aging of the current-gun owning population and a lack of interest in guns by youth; the end of military conscription; the decreasing popularity of hunting; land-use issues that limit hunting and other shooting activities; environmental and zoning issues that force shooting ranges to close and limit new range construction; and, the increase in single-parent homes headed by women.
Land use issues, zoning that restricts gun ranges, single parent households headed by females...all socially engineered circumstances by the Left.
The reason voting will never be the singular answer to Restoration is because the enemies of Liberty have entrenched themselves in the mechanical fundamental aspects of society so they can guide trends from within bureaucracies.
Single Female Head 0f Household benefits them? Structure tax policy and welfare policies to benefit single mothers and burden married couples.
No gun ranges = fewer gun shooters? Control the zoning boards and deny new permits.
Fewer hunting grounds = fewer hunters/gunners? Cite safety concerns to restrict hunting grounds while promoting Bambi & the cuteness of Polar Bears to kindergarten kids so they grow up further removed from the realities of putting meat on the table.
Voting alone will never achieve Restoration. The infection is too advanced.

I think any serious Patriot feels what he writes about, daily.
I know I do. That is why I have stopped offering potential methods of group resistance...there are so few of us who will ever step forward it is pointless to invest the time or treasure to an event.
Any defense of Liberty (before the implosion) will be a one-man event.
Period.
Actions after the implosion will be motivated by hunger and a desire to survive, though they may be wrapped in the cloak of Liberty.
Real Patriots: Get you victories now, quietly, to keep your sanity. Waiting for anyone else is futile.
