Texas waters down TSA Bill
Texans, now you know where your official LEO stands on the matter: The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas said a "probable cause" standard would unduly restrict law enforcement searches.
Forget the Constitution they swore to uphold - that would unduly restrict their efforts.
It would appear that as a default position, any and every Government employee must be considered OpFor until diligently proven otherwise.
The Legislators gutted the bill, giving those who violate it an unbeatable defense.
It's all hat.
The Texas story is here.

Georgia program tries to replace migrant workers with ex-convicts
How do you get Americans back into the fields?
Create felons of a large portion of the population, stripping them of all potential for gainful employment and a dignified life, and drive them back into crime to continue feeding the beast, or into the fields to pick the cotton.
The story is here.

When 1A & 4A are no longer respected...
Notes: We never count more than 5-6 LEO, which would seem to put the ratio at about 4:1 in favor of Citizens.
Once Citizen's across the republic decide to replace 1A cameras with 2A tools, this nonsense ends.
Right Now.
Consider this story, here.

Best way to avoid a punch? Don't be there...
Pretty good anlaysis about the top five places not to be when the dollar collapses.
As regards CONUS, I would simply add that anyone in a major metro area needs to didi, sooner than later.

There are no words that will satisfy this train of abuses.
Only action...and punishment for Treason.

Most Children are Born with Common Sense...
This study finds that children are born with a respect for Property Rights, here.
What parent hasn't heard MINE!!! screeching from the lungs of little ones?
This is an example of having to go in search of proof for Common Sense. We all know that children are born A and too many of our adults set to work in a child's earliest days to curb innate behaviors that the Enemies of Liberty find problematic, transforming children from A to B.
Public Schools no longer educate. They are used to indoctrinate by our Masters, and they are used as babysitters by too many Citizens, many of whom have no choice because both parents (if they are still together) must work just to keep Home & Hearth functioning.
Good job to the folks who ran the study & had the mettle to publish in the face of the peer reviews that will seek to undermine their findings, credibility, and future in the profession. This is important work, and sadly must be done for any Patriot who still holds any hope for Reason as a tool in the fight for Restoration. The Enemies of Liberty have succeeded in shifting the conversation and Talking Points from Common Sense, and this report is ammunition for any Patriot who desires to shift the conversation back into the realm of reality.
I found it over at InfoWars. Find your Intel where it is, use what works for you and leave the rest.
Do not let yourself fall into the trap of Patriot "Leaders" who seek to assign Patriot Pedigrees.
Do what works for you.
UPDATE: Of course, indoctrination of children is far more advanced in foreign Socialist Utopias: Here.

Remember this?
The Kentucky Resolutions of 1798
1. Resolved, That the several States composing, the United States of America, are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government; but that, by a compact under the style and title of a Constitution for the United States, and of amendments thereto, they constituted a general government for special purposes —delegated to that government certain definite powers, reserving, each State to itself, the residuary mass of right to their own self-government; and that whensoever the general government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force: that to this compact each State acceded as a State, and is an integral part, its co-States forming, as to itself, the other party: that the government created by this compact was not made the exclusive or final judge of the extent of the powers delegated to itself; since that would have made its discretion, and not the Constitution, the measure of its powers; but that, as in all other cases of compact among powers having no common judge, each party has an equal right to judge for itself, as well of infractions as of the mode and measure of redress.

Minot & Common Sense
There has been a considerable bit of complaining by the residents of Minot that the levees have breached.
First, the Federal Government has no business claiming jurisdiction over the Right to build a levee.
If the folks in Minot want a levee, let them build it.
Now, let's move to the core issues: Personal Responsibility & Common Sense.
If you do not want your homes and land occasionally flooded, do not build your home or plant your crops in a place that will occasionally be flooded.
Mother Nature owes us nothing, and She will do Her thing. If you lose your crops in a flood that is breaking all records, that's just the way it goes, sometimes. Stuff Happens. Buy land that is further removed from the flood zone. Oh, that land is less fertile? That's how it works, folks.
Which leads us to Katrina: A Cat 3 Hurricane makes landfall in a known hurricane track area and floods a city that was built below sea level...what do you expect? It becomes a swimming pool, folks. That's how it works. If you don't want to live in an occasional swimming pool, do not build a city in one.
Back to the beginning: I agree that FedGov has no jurisdiction. So, where is the mettle of the Louisiana Government to build barrier islands and bigger levees, despite Washington edicts?
Oh, you see, here is the rub. Building such things takes money. Better to let folks from Oregon & Maryland pay for Louisiana levees. Pass it off to FedGov because then they'll pay for it.
They'll also take the blame when something goes wrong.
Does the phrase reap what you sow have any meaning any longer?
If you play in traffic you'll get squished like grape, eventually.
If you put your leg near a Polar Bear at the zoo, one day he'll take a bite.
If you jump from a plane without a parachute, you'll bounce at the bottom.
Why should I have to pay for the stupidity or deliberate irresponsibility of any other Citizen?
I have enough trouble keeping the bank filled because of my own stupidity, I can't carry his weight, too. Though, we have all been carrying the weight of the stupid and criminally irresponsible for too long, which is why so many folks are so far from enjoying the fruits of their own labors.
Louisiana: Man-up and build your own levees. North Dakota, you too. Texas: Stop wimping out over TSA and take point.
If enough States stand up to FedGov and stop contributing to the problems, FedGov will back off.
If enough individuals refuse to be held liable for the stupidity of others, change will happen.
The stupidity and deliberate irresponsibility of others will never be bred from the Human animal, I suspect. Culling the herd is needed when one can't fix stupid. Mother Nature tries, and we try to thwart Her. If you build your home in a swimming pool and it fills with water: Swim out and STFU.
And don't say I owe you a life preserver.

Texas legislators hide rather than stand and vote...
This supports my theory that when SHTF we will all be too busy in our own AO's to help across borders.

Update
Hi folks,
sorry for the slow posting. Been busy. Someone wrote me a few weeks ago and asked how the process of getting the books out to Members of Congress was going . Sorry, I don't remember who asked, and I can't find the email right now. Anyway, the process goes slowly. I keep a small stack of books with me and when I find myself in the area of Capitol Hill I try to drop in. While progress is slow, it is happening - though I can't say we've found any friends, yet. I have a list somewhere of the offices visited, I'll try to put up a sidebar one day to help everyone keep track.
In other news: We are working on a Go Bag project, involving some big names in the Adventurer realm of the business world. It promises to be interesting and useful. More on that project as we get further down the line.
In the process of winding down a business (liquidating inventory) and ramping up a charity, getting a magazine out on a deadline.
Stay safe.

Treason covers it...
I don't think I've ever seen a single image that better captures the state of the republic.
A Government employee in a hijab groping a nun, who will face armed men of Government if she seeks to defend herself.
This image hits like a kick to the teeth. It should.
What you do with the energy it churns in your Soul will define how this all ends.
Set religion aside.
This is not a fight of religions - it must not be permitted to be framed as such by our Masters.
This must be a fight about Constitutional ideals. This is a fight about personal Liberty.
In a republic with proper respect for the Constitution, there is room for all of us who are decent people.
And those who pervert the Constitution?
Article III, Section III.
Treason.
Every answer we seek is there for us, embodied in the ideals that helped craft the Constitution.
But the responsibility for enforcing those ideals is yours, and mine. We see what happens when we permit others to abuse the Constitution.
The time nears when each and every American will have no choice but to choose a side.
There will be no middle, none who will be permitted to abstain or vote Present.
Our side will not permit it, nor will theirs.
Make no mistake, this fight is for the Soul of the republic.
If we lose there will be camps and horrors.
Implosion is imminent.
Contact is imminent.
Brace for impact.

Clues
Recent headlines at Drudge should have all Patriots notching-up their state of readiness.
James Verone, in the picture, robbed a bank for $1 so he'd get thrown in prison with medical care. Don't get seriously sick in prison, you're better off with a Shaman than a "Health Professional" who can only get hired by the prison system. And that was at the Federal level - I can only imagine the talent pool hired at the state level!
Poor Mr. Verone isn't even being charged with bank robbery (which would at least have put him in a Federal Institution) - they are charging him with a lesser crime so the best he can hope for is whatever "Health Professional" that so desperately needs work, can't get hired by a real provider, and chooses to voluntarily enter a North Carolina prison every day...
People are stealing copper wire from air conditioners across the country to sell for scrap at about $4/lb. An entire pole-mounted transformer was stolen recently...
In Pennsylvania, scrap metal thieves are targeting parked cars.
Worst home sales numbers in years.
Inflation.
Unemployment.
All would be clues that we draw closer by the moment to someone lighting a match as we all stand in this powder keg.
Stay safe.

Perspective
I genuinely appreciate it when someone helps me examine an issue from a different perspective. Concerned American does it all the time.
It is like adding tools to the toolbox, or extra ammo to a pouch.
This time, it's a Sheriff in Arizona.
His point: Why do we have more American military standing post on the Korean DMZ than on our own southern border?
Here is the story.

Good for me, not Thee
Rochester police arrest a woman for videotaping them - from her own yard.
This is simply one more story on a heap of stories every day, any of which may provide the spark.
America is an emotional, ideological and economic powder keg, and we have Communists in Washington lighting matches to see what they can make happen...
Check your gear, folks.
An emergency rarely gives you a heads-up...
Here is the story from Rochester.
UPDATE: Causapet got the video, here.
