Media Games

Ron Paul is strong in Iowa.

The story linked below claims Newt is plummeting.

Do you see the hand of the media in this story, trying to craft their Destiny? 

To the majority of America Ron Paul is an old loon.  To most of America Newt is a dangerous, warmongering nerd who is very smart but can't stay married to one woman.

To the Left a knock-down battle between Paul & Gingrich is good for President Obama.  If they bloody one another and either is nominated, the Left is certain they will take 2012 (at least the Oval Office).

The Left is genuinely afraid of a nominee Romney.  He can actually beat the President, because they stand on much of the same ground.

Can Newt or Ron Paul win?  Sure.  Either one can take the Oval Office, if a few stars align.

But beware of stories like the one below, that want a bloody nomination process.

Newt Gingrich says he'd defy Supreme Court rulings he opposed

UPDATE: Newt ups the stakes against activist Federal Judges, here.

Here is a good White Paper about the issue of Judicial Review, its origins and the Founders intent. 

Newt has declared that he'd simply ignore Supreme Court rulings that he found unconstitutional.  I have no problem with that...

He also suggested the possibility of abolishing some Federal Courts, to be rid of activist judges.  I have no problem with that...

He's a very well-read politician.  He may be the most historically informed candidate on the stage.  He's smart.  I have no problem with that...

He believes in American Empire.  I have a problem with that.

He also believes that you and I do not have the same Right to dismiss the unconstitutional rulings of the Supreme Court as would he as President.  I have a problem with that.

Shut up.  There are too many pitfalls in any conversation with LEO.  You will talk yourself into a prison sentence if LEO decides to make it happen.  So, shut up.  And that guy you are meeting for the first time, and swapping encryption keys with...yeah, not so much.

If you forget for a single moment that Restoration is something that the Enemies of Liberty will not tolerate, you will lose.

East Texas Reality

How many of you are giving up too much information? 

Collaborators will get you killed or imprisoned.  You don't need to take my word for it, just look at history.  Can you spot a Collaborator, even when the evidence is significant and on display?  If not, I would suggest that every Patriot shut his mouth, or as CA mentioned recently, keep your pieholes shut.  How many secrets or sensitive comments have you shared with others in this community, supposedly privately, and how certain are you that those secrets or comments are secure?

Three may keep a secret, so long as two are dead...

Many of you have declared that you will never surrender, will never be put on a train to nowhere or be forced to kneel at the side of a ditch.  While that may help you sleep at night, it shouldn't.  The Enemies of Liberty have countless methods to get inside your defenses.

Just look at Patriot's Lament. 

They come with what you like. 

They also come heavy when you are unable, or unwilling, to resist. 

How tough will you be when it is your child or your wife with a Glock to the head, held by an Enemy of Liberty.  They need not penetrate your homestead to make this happen, in many cases.  They can get her at work, or the market, or at a stoplight.

In Alaska they simply came in the house, and not one Patriot raised a defense.  It may be easy to sit and second-guess that decision, but when it is your house, your children, the paradigm shifts.  Don't say you'd never surrender the friend in the basement...

I would suggest all Patriots just zip it, at least a little bit tighter.

Nikki Haley sells out and surrenders her Tea Party credentials...

Consider me in the anyone but Romney camp.

Yes, I include President Obama in that equation.  I'd rather have 4 more years of Hope & Change than a single Romney term.  (There are several other R candidates I include in that, as well.)  While I oppose him politically on every isssue, I think President Obama is one of the most honest of the bunch...and that's saying something.

That doesn't mean I like any of the other choices, but I am disgusted with politicians who will say anything to be elected, and I have to put Mitt in that category.

Anyone who voted for Nikki Haley as a Tea Party politician can now officially feel f'd.  I guess she has earned her way into another category, and it is not a good one to be in during Restoration.
