60 Seconds of Constitutional Radio

We have a book with our political platform.  We have stickers.  We have patches.  We'll be printing business cards in the next week or so.

The most popular form of mainstream media you folks chose is radio.  This is a big escalation, with potentially BIG results.

Here in the DC area WMAL Radio (FM station) hosts the conservative talkers.  The lineup is Chris Plante in the morning until noon.  Rush runs from 12-3.  Hannity is 3-6.  Mark levin is 6-9.

The mid-day ad cycle is 10am (Chris Plante) through 3pm (the end of Rush).

Chris Plante has a decent following locally, but make no mistake, the guy claims to be a Conservative but he has strong RINO and Neo-Con tendencies.  But there are many Ron Paul fans and Constitutionalists in the audience who call and give him indigestion, routinely.  This means we know our allies are listening.

The Rush audience is the power audience.  The people who take decisions on the Hill listen to Rush, whether they agree with him or not.  If we want to find our allies through a radio audience, and at the same time send up a flare to the hijacked Tea Party, the "Conservatives" and the Establishment that we are coming onto the scene and we mean business, running spots during the DC Rush show will rattle cages.

Bottom Line: Political ad buys are expensive (but far cheaper than print/TV/Cable).

One 60-second spot is $1,200.  We need to buy at least 10 spots to have any impact in a radio environment.  It's all about repetition.  20 spots is better than 10, but if we are going to do this we'll start realistically with a target of buying 10 spots.

That means we need to raise $12,000.  WMAL will produce the spot based on our script.  That means we'll need to get our heads together and develop a powerful brief message that plays well to people driving or sitting in their offices.  The best radio ads make a point, hit it several times, and drive people to a website or phone number for more information.

Since it is a political ad, the on-air talent will (probably) not want to record it, so it will probably be a professional voice, but not a known name.

So the question is simple: Do we invest our energy into raising $12k to try this, to hit the DC Conservative air with a hardcore Constitutional message to build our audience and put a shot across the bow of the Hill?  Do we put the Political Class on notice that we are here, we are pissed, and we are coming?

The poll is at the right.

Is $12K doable?  Would we be better off spending that same money somewhere else?

This is YOUR Movement, folks.  I'm just one guy trying to help implement our goals.  If we decide to go forward we'll be passing the hat for money.  We'll also build a comments thread so we can develop the message we want out there.  But the choice is yours.

FYI: 1/2 page in USA Today (one-time run) is $81K.

Advertising

UPDATE: Bloggers - if you would like your blog listed at IIIPercent.com please add it to your blogroll then send me an email and I'll add you.  We intend to drive considerable traffic to IIIPercent.com to build the III audience, and we invite you to have your site listed there to help build our community.

I've already added a few blogs, if I have missed you, let me know.

~~

Start thinking about a script for a 60 second radio ad that will reach the Rush/Hannity audience.  I'm working with the DC Metro station that carries these shows, and the rates are reasonable.  We'll see where we get with our negotiations, then I'll bring the numbers to you and we can decide whether or not to go that direction right now.

Any newspaper buy will begin at $10,000 for a small, one-time buy.  Very poor bang for the buck.

I'm discussing options with cable operators, but since it is the political season the rates are pretty steep.  More info as I get it nailed down.

Business Cards or bookmarks?  If you are going to head into gun shops, gun shows, Occupy camps, Tea Party's, would you prefer to hand out business cards or bookmarks?  I vote for business cards for 2 reasons: They are cheaper and they are easier to keep in your pocket for those unexpected moments when you want to give a couple out.

Stickers: Free templates down below.

More later.

Why we are losing...

I have held the position for a long time that the Left wants it more.

A Lefty group is taking credit for having Pat kicked from MSNBC.

Who have we gotten fired?  Have we even tried?  I know, we use different tactics...but do we have any Wins to which we can point?  Personally I don't want to fight this kind of war.  What good would it do if we succeeded and got Rachel Maddow fired?

But the point is, they are winning, they have Wins, because they want it more.

Here's the story.

Unrelated issue: The final batch of patches and mailings went out this afternoon, so everyone should have their gear by the end of the week.  If your stuff doesn't come by Monday, please drop me an email.

Also: NOTE TO ERNEST - Sir, thank you for your email.  I'm not ignoring you, I have tried to reply several times but my email keeps getting kicked back for some reason (even from my GMail account).  If you have a picture of what you discussed in the email and any design suggestions, I invite both.

Thank you to everyone who is helping in this fight for Liberty.  I owe some of you emails, I am working through the pile.  Sorry for the delay, I've been working on business matters that have taken more time than usual.

Stay safe, Patriots.

Make a list...and use it

In the post MSM Methodology we demonstrated how the media is simply eliminating Ron Paul from their stories.

Here is another example from CBS, as noted by InfoWars.

The point: Make a list, folks.  Make a list of everyone in these days who actively aids the Enemies of Liberty in their oppression of you and your family.  Reporters, neighbors, mayors, politicians, lawyers...

People who strive to deny Liberty and Freedom to Americans must never be permitted to do their work without recourse.

When the trials begin, make sure everyone on your list gets what they deserve.

Blogs & Bloggers

We have a new blog, folks: Mountain Guerrilla, here.

I found it over at AP's place.

I've added it to the blogroll on the right, with several others.

If you have a III/Patriot/serious 2A blog and you don't see it in the blogroll, let me know.

Read this post about a gal in an alley who meets two LEO in NV Goggles, cammies and vests...as they were staking out the local pub.

Simple reality, folks: The only way the oppressions of LEO and Enemies of Liberty will be eradicated in your AO is you.  You want proof?  You have done nothing and LEO rules your AO.

Until you do something, that reality will obtain.  I'm not pointing fingers - LEO dominates my AO, too.  And they will continue to do so until Patriots change the reality on the ground.  The average Citizen will not help you.  In fact, most will See Something and Say Something, so watch your six.

Start small by adding your voice to the blogs that speak your language.  Help us be louder.  Read our blogs, even the ones you don't agree with all the time.  It helps our collective volume. (oops, I said collective...)

Then, print off a batch of III stickers and saturate your AO with them.  The rattlesnake rattles before he bites, you should too.

Good job to Mountain Guerrilla, the site looks good.  It's here.

III Stickers

Bump

I have created 2 templates for folks who want to print off stickers.

The first template, here, is for Branded stickers.  I have put IIIPercent.com on the stickers so people know where to go.

The second template is NOT Branded.  Feel free to use either one, as you see fit. The template is here.

Both will work on Avery 5164 and Avery 5524 labels.  The labels are the same size, but the 5524 are weatherproof - they'll last longer if you put them outside.

I've created the template so you can do this at home for less money than we can print and sell stickers.  If America527 were to order or print these things in-house, we'd have to ask for a donation of almost $20+ for 100 stickers just to cover ink, labels and postage.  Just like reloading, you can get more bang for your buck doing it at home.

If anyone thinks we should go ahead and do the printing in-house as well, let me know.

Put these things where they will earn attention.  Remember, there is no such thing as bad publicity...unless they actually get video of you in the bed with the little boy.  So put these things where they will win allies and where they will annoy enemies.

Yes - there will probably be some blowback if you put branded stickers in annoying places.  My position: If the local news picks up the story and advertises IIIPercent.com for us, we win.

Good hunting, folks.

LEO Down

Have any of you III Patriots considered starting a blog, but haven't yet taken the plunge?

There is plenty of room for more of us raising our voices.

Suggestion: I think our community could use a blog that is dedicated to tracking stories about LEO that are wounded or killed in the line of duty.

Blogger and WordPress are easy formats to run.

Think about it.

John Moses Browning

The 1911 is one hundred years old.

The Hi-Power followed.  A fascinating tidbit about the Hi-Power: Browning sold the 1911 design to Colt, so when he was tasked with building another pistol, he had to stay away from the patents incorporated in the 1911.  How many people do you know who could build not only one world-changing machine, but two?

And, of course, his firearms brilliance was not limited to the 1911 & 1935.

Consider: How many men and women have had their lives saved by the work of John Browning?  How many dollars have been generated from the work of John Browning?

When one considers free markets and the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness, John Browning should come to mind.  Here is his wiki page.  Look at the list of firearms with which he was associated.

Such men are rare.  And today, such men would not find the freedom to impact the world as did he.  Perhaps his legacy of tools will help correct that injustice before we are dead.

Now consider this post from Curtis about LEO and .mil confiscating weapons from folks in Katrina.  You would do well to pay homage to John Browning for the time when they come for you...

One day...

I have a visceral disgust for snitches and collaborators.

Who do I find more repulsive?  People who use snitches and collaborators.

See Something, Say Something?  Let me find your name.  One day those records will become public, and Vigilance Committees will come for you.

Rich T found a video from the punk Mayor of Newark, waving cash around in a video like a used car slug, offering $1,000 cash to anyone who rats out a Citizen who has taken the decision to exercise his 2A Rights.  Government is offering bounties on Citizens who exercise Constitutional Rights.

Don't you dare give me any sh*t about gang bangers and drug dealers being the target of the program, and if you think they are any less entitled to 2A than anyone else, please don't come back to my site.

Who are the Bad People in this case?

There will come a day when Mayors and City Councilmen and others have the tables turned, and Free men at Liberty take the decision to come for you, for your crimes against humanity.

Yes, I said it.  Crimes against Humanity.  Have you every been to Newark?  I have.  Here's a tip - do not go to Newark without exercising every 2A Right you can carry!  Forcing people to be unarmed in Newark is criminal.

Watch the video.  Tell me the Mayor doesn't make your bile rise, and tell me he doesn't look like a 1970's used car salesman as he waves cash around.  But he is so much more vile - for he is using his office to corrupt the Constitution of the republic.  You know he has an armed police detail 24/7.

Crime against Humanity.

Enemy of Liberty.

Here's Rich T's post.

Here's Kenny's take.

Patriots: Let your outrage burn hot.  Let it forge your resolve to change this republic before you die.

PatCom 2012

Bill's gig is coming soon, folks.  If you are able to attend, I'd recommend zipping him an email.  Bill: I've got a few III patches headed your way for the folks coming to your place.

Bill makes an important point in his post today.  Some idiot gave Wirecutter (Kenny) grief about not being serious enough on a III blog.  The idiot signs himself Mike.  Kenny handled the idiot with an appropriate smackdown, and Bill added a bit of frosting to the cake.

I want to address the III aspect of this issue.  The III tag is a mindset, it is not a club with a secret handshake.  There are no leaders, either elected or appointed or reigning by birth or bloodlines.

III simply means you would be proud to stand on the Green with John Parker on that long-gone April morning, and III means you'll do it today if you must.

Those of you, like Mike, who try to impose a behavioral standard on anyone who chooses to stand with the III - please get over yourself.

At its very fundamental core, the III tag means Liberty & Freedom.

Get it?  That means the freedom and liberty to do as we damn well please.

Trying to impose your will on a man who flies the III colors will get you dismissed as a busybody moron, at best...and it may get your eyes swelled shut.  Both of them.

III means: Back the F* up and leave me be.

Anyone who wants to impose a code of conduct for a III Patriot, please take your favorite 2A tool, and use it upon your brain case.  We have no use for you.  All you do is alienate good Patriots and hurt the Movement.

Perhaps that is your intent, Mike?

Here's Bill's post.

Here's Kenny's.

Carry on, Gentlemen.

Please vote on the polls at right ----->

Bump

If you haven't weighed-in yet, please take a second and let us know what you think about Branding material for helping spread the III message.

Will you hand out business cards or flyers to drive people to our websites?

What about stickers?  Will you post them where they can be seen, where they will annoy all the right people?

Hats, T-shirts and flags are expensive, but wearing your message is powerful.  Should we test the waters and do an ad buy on radio/tv/print?

Let us know.

Vote, please.

The Judge

I have been a strong advocate of Judge Napolitano for a while.  I have found myself in disagreement with him only a few times, and most of those times the differences are minor.

Can anyone tell me why this guy would not make an outstanding President?

Tactical

When the time comes, do not underestimate the value of old-school methods of confusing your enemies.

While LEO and any military folks in your AO will rely on GPS, many folks will not.

Consider removing or switching road signs and house numbers in your AO.

It is a small thing.  But small things may earn you a moment, or a few seconds of indecision on the part of your enemies.

I hope I don't need to explain what damage can be done in a few seconds by a Patriot who is prepared and willing to take advantage of an indecisive enemy.

Think about these things.

Global Economy Could Endure Disaster For a Week

Just-in-time realities are simple: Any significant disruption will grind the economies of the world to a halt very quickly.  In just days without re-supply you can expect most stores to become bare.

How long could your family survive without a trip to the food store?

How many Bad People can you fend off as everyone waits for the cookie aisle to be re-stocked?

Here's an analysis from a think tank on the topic.

Curtis

Check the graphic Curtis posted from a Sheriff's SEAL wannabe squad.

My take on the "Serve a Warrant - Get Served" post: The guy in the house should face Zero legal jeopardy for defending himself against a home invasion force of state employees.

Using or selling drugs are two of those unalienable Natural Rights, even if the state has deemed the activity to be illegal.  When LEO comes to arrest you for it,  their actions are immoral and your arrest would be unlawful, thereby you are justified in defending yourself by any means necessary.

That's my position, anyway.  LEO and the state disagree, obviously.

And the state will not permit your Countrymen to nullify, so you will lose...until we are rid of these animals in power.

Here's the link to Curtis.
