Enemies of Liberty are ruthless. To own your Liberty, you'd better come harder than your enemies..
When I speak of the Enemies of Liberty I speak of anyone who acts to infringe your Liberty beyond the scope outlined by Thomas Jefferson.
That includes LEO who think they have the right to disarm you or beat you or come into your peaceable home to murder you.
That includes the Political Class who think they have the right to empower LEO to do such things.
That includes the bureaucrats who process the paperwork that facilitates the Politician and LEO to get the job done.
That includes the Merchant Class who willingly sell goods and services to the Enemies of Liberty. Yes - if you work in a gun store and your primary customer is Government, we have a problem.
That includes your neighbors who vote for such idiots.
Combined, the Enemies of Liberty are a very populous group.
1:85 is the quota I worked out about a year ago. Every III Patriot will be responsible for taking the fight out of about 85 Enemies of Liberty when festivities begin.
Here are the two columns that work it out. Now consider: Do you have what it takes in material, defensive position, offensive capability, health, and mettle?

We are going on the radio.
We will go to television with our message. (I am working with Comcast right now)
We are building a serious political organization, Patriots. This is how it is done. We find common ground, we stand by our principles, we rattle our warning and let the world know we are serious and we point our bayonets at the Enemies of Liberty. Bill and a group of serious Patriots are meeting right now and all weekend in Texas. TL's event is still building for the spring.
Make no mistake. I have no interest in building a political party like the D's and R's. I have chosen to stand up and stand with you because Jefferson's Liberty is my birthright, I have never willingly surrendered it, and I refuse to let Enemies of Liberty steal it from me. I will have your back, and I hope you will have mine.
Over the coming months I hope we can all begin to form serious cohesion around Trainer's concept of an attack against any of us is an attack against us all.
We are the III. I think of us as Patriots who would stand with the original III on the Green with John Parker. I think of us as the Sons of Liberty.
I intend to go in harm's way, if I must, to ensure Liberty does not die while I am alive.
These things we are doing today - the advertising and making our presence known - is the rattle of the snake. You and I are not hollow heroes. The III is not about idle words and lines in the sand that will not be defended. I refuse to stand with such cowards. I refuse to do work that is nothing more than bluster. I refuse to waste my time.
We are warning the Enemies of Liberty, right now.
What we, the III Percent Patriots, do tomorrow...is up to them.

Remember that our first impression must convey the essence of our position without raising stereotypical alarms.
I have not yet changed the links at America527.org - but I will only be listing blogs from our community that do us the courtesy of listing us in return. If you look at the blogs I have listed on this blog, for instance, there are many who have not bothered to reciprocate - they will be removed in short order.
These business cards can be left in small stacks at gun shops, gun show booths, tea party meetings, and handed out at all of those places, as well as to anyone who seems to "get it" as you live your life. Please tell me what you think.

It appears the consensus wants to move forward on a radio ad buy.
Here are a few basics: We'll need a script of about 140 words. The key is to have a simple message, repeat that message several times in slightly different language, and have a contact blurb that is easy to remember.
I am going to suggest two aspects that I think will lead to success: Firstly, I think our message should center around the Constitution and Constitutional ideals, rather than trying to introduce people to the III. The last thing people want is another group claiming a percentage - 1%, 99%, et cetera. If we push the concept that many of our problems will be solved if we simply abide the Constitution, as ratified, I think we'll resonate with listeners. A radio ad is not the time or place to educate anyone - it is an opportunity to get someone's attention and drive them to more information.
Secondly: Where do we send radio listeners? I suggest that for radio ads we use America527.org. It is easy to remember, it strikes a patriotic chord, and like our message, it does not ask the listener to accept a new concept. Additionally, think of the mental gymnastics involved as a radio announcer tries to get "IIIPercent.com" to stick. People won't remember iiipercent.com - they'll type "3percent.com" and other variations, and who knows where they will land.
So: I suggest we keep our message focused on the Constitution and we drive traffic to America527. Just like IIIPercent.com (which we brand on our printed handouts) we can list all of our blogs at America527.org so that when people hear the ad on the radio and land on the page, they can find WRSA, AP, and the rest of us.
Remember, these are only suggestions. I base them on my experience in marketing, but that doesn't mean I am right or my approach is best. Please weigh-in with your thoughts.
Please use this thread to post your thoughts about the script, too. You don't have to come up with a full script if you don't want to, but throw in some bullet points that you think are important.
Also: Male voice or female voice? Sound effects? (I think a rattlesnake rattle at the right moment will convey Gadsden). Any other thoughts you have, this is the thread.
And while we are here: If this is going to happen, we need $12k. That will buy 10 political spots. We may as well start passing the hat now, folks. As usual, anyone who contributes at least $10 will get a patch.
If everyone who visits this blog every day puts $50 in the hat, we'll get it done quickly. That's just about the cost of a box of good .308 rounds. Of course, not everyone will do that, so if you can help make up for a few folks who can't contribute, please do so. Every $10 or $20 helps.

You think he is Bad People. But that is a matter of perspective. To the other folks you consider to be Bad People, he is a successful Battlefield General.

It needs to be brief enough to fit. It needs to convey to the reader what we are about very quickly. I'd prefer it was a quote from a Founder or Framer to keep our connection to the Constitution as ratified meme going.

I just ordered a Condor tactical cap:
I'll put our III patch on the front, and I bought a name strip for the back panel. I can't be a grey man, so I'll take point.
But I must admit, I'm not as fond of the tactical caps as I am the embroidered.
I am very fond of the FlexFit low profile in OD, and I'll order one in the near future.
I've decided to wait in regards to ordering a batch of III caps through the 527. There is only one reason: Price. For the 527 to order a batch, include shipping and make a few bucks per cap, we'd have to charge at least $35 per cap. I'd rather you guys just decide what logo you want on the cap and buy them from your favorite custom shop and save the $10 bucks (or more).
You can use the III Logos on a cap - just send the "Resist" version or the non-"Resist" to the company, and they'll do the rest. Or you can do as AP did, and just go for a simplle III, which has a class all its own.
AP used Camotech.com, and as he says in his post, he is very satisfied. I will contact them and see if we can negotiate a group rate using our designs, but it will take me a few days to get around to it.
I want to be very careful that America527 doesn't simply become a business for selling III gear. I hope you understand. There are certain items that make sense for the 527 to handle, and there are some that are best handled individually. You can use our artwork any way you want. Flags are one of those items that will best be handled by a custom flag shop. Again, I'll try to arrange a group rate, but it'll be cheaper to let them handle the details.
Fly your colors, Patriots. Let the world know we are here. Shake your rattle, so that when we are forced to bite, they can't say that we didn't warn them.
UPDATE: Still can't find the names of the two deputies. Here's a statement from LASD: At a press conference on Wednesday Sheriff Lee Baca confirmed it was his understanding the woman was homeless and had a history of mental problems.
Baca also pointed out that the woman was not arrested. She is currently held on a 72-hour psychiatric hold.
Mark my words: There will come a time in the near future when this story goes differently. There will be a pair of double-taps, frightened witnesses, flags at half-staff, and an unknown American wanted for dropping two cops.
