The business of hiring professional fighters for off-the-books ops is a topic with which I am familiar, and that's about all I have to say about that...

Here's what you need to know: Men and women who know how to use violence to acheive goals have always been here, and they will always remain.  The men, buinesses, governments that will contract such people do not care about your civil rights.  Indeed, it is probably your silly notion of civil rights, natural rights, constitutional rights, et cetera, that have brought them to the point of hiring mercenaries in the first place.

The Bad People have a goal, and if they take the decision to reach that goal, they will first use law, then force of law, and ultimately, if such civilized measures fail, they will simply hire men and women of violence to come and make you change your mind, change your place of residence, or change you to room temperature.

Right now the Bad People in the US Government, allied with Banksters and other Bad People, are preparing to unleash Hell upon those of us who have silly notions about Natural Rights and such.

They have passed many laws that put you in jeopardy.  They have militarized their police forces (color of law).  They have trained their war fighters in actual combat around the world.  And they are awarding lucrative contracts to mercenaries so that they, too, can hone their skills.  Sure, no worries, Americans.  It's only to fight the evil Drug Lords.

If you do not understand that the ground is being prepared to subjugate and/or kill you, I can't help you.

III SHTF Firearms

UPDATE: I made this point in the comments, but I'll reiterate it here as well.  This project will not be a for-profit venture for my wife's publishing house.  Just like III to Liberty, all proceeds from this book will be plowed back into the 527 to advance our political goals.  Every writer who contributes will get a free copy, of course.  I hope our bloggers who contribute will also advertise it for sale on their blogs. 

Fundraising for our Movement can only go so far if we only look to one another for cash.

If we produce a product that appeals to a wider audience, we accomplish several goals at once.  We will raise money for our Movement, we'll find natural allies and grow our network of Patriots.

I've had sufficient positive response to the concept of publishing a SHTF book that we are going to move forward right away.  For those of you who reached out in email, the answer is yes: You may publish your piece under a pseudonym.

Here is the theme of the articles to submit: In a sudden SHTF event (not TEOTWAWKI) you will reach for a longarm and one of more handguns, and one or more blades.  Build your article around those items (any of them or all of them - for instance, you don't need to write about your knife if you'd rather just write about your favorite rifle). 

Write your article in your own voice.  There is no need to try to write like the guys in G&A - I'd rather have our "flavor", as it will be more genuine and sincere.  Write about your weapons realistically - list the things you like, the things you don't like, the pros and cons.  We aren't trying to brown-nose a bunch of manufacturers, our goal is to present honest information to other people who may be looking for a weapon on which they can bet their lives.

Pictures: Make sure you get some.  I don't care if you simply lean your rifle up against a tree, or you stage a shot with your wife or kids, or you pose in full ghillie - just do your thing.  The only requirement is technical: The images you take must be as hi-res as possible.  Cheapie cellphone images won't get it done - we won't be able to run them in print.  Now, I have a Verizon Droid that takes images that are good enough for print.  Rule of thumb: If your image is at least 1MB, you are good.  More MB = better and bigger in print.  Just about any digital camera will do a good job.

Get some pics on or from the range, show some targets with your handiwork.  Show the attachments that you like.  Show your drag bags if you want.  This is your presentation - just be sure to convey useful info to readers. 

I don't care what you shoot - SKS, AK, Nagants, full-throttle black rifles, Barrett .50's, it doesn't matter.  Talk about your favorite loads.  Talk about what feeds in your piece and what it doesn't like to chew.

My wife has plenty of contacts in the media/marketing departments of many manufacturers, so we can get images from them, as well.  We also have editors, so don't sweat it if you think your writing skills aren't up to being published. 

Target length should be 600-1000 words.  But that is ONLY a rough rule of thumb.  Write your piece in as many words as you need, and the editors can chop it if needed. 

Remember: This project is about weapons selection and performance.  Don't get into detailed tactics, politics, analysis of 4GW, et cetera.  Let's keep it on the weapons from a III perspective, so we can talk to NRA-types in a language that they understand.

As you know I have been investing considerable energy recently into efforts that will grow our community, and find our natural allies.

I have an idea that I think may help us reach deeply into the general gun community: What if we publish a book that is a compilation of reviews, written by our readers and bloggers?

For instance, we could focus on rifles that have value in a SHTF scenario.  All of you have experience with the rifles in your safe/cabinet.  Could you - would you - write a review or two of your favorite?  You could write about its strengths and weaknesses, shoot pics of range results, talk about add-on accessories, et cetera.  Just think of every gun article you've read in gun magazines.

Don't worry if you are self-conscious about your writing skills, we have editors that can polish it up.

What we'd end up with is a book written by Patriots, with honest reviews about gear used by Patriots, that would hold interest for the entire gun community.  Of course in the book we'd brand the III and our III blogs.  The book would be a trade paperback - softcover, so it would be very much like a magazine.

Fed considers more QE.

Quantitative easing is nothing more than printing money and giving it to banks.

The net effect is that it devalues the dollar bill in your pocket.  It is simple supply-demand reality.  The more of any item, the cheaper its cost.  It is no different with dollars - if there are more of them, they are less costly, with a corresponding reduction in the cost to buy goods and services.

If you have a $10 bill in your pocket on Tuesday and Quantitative Easing is undertaken Wednesday, your $10 bill now has the buying power of less than $10.

The premise is identical to a man standing before you and holding a .45 to your wife's face and demanding one of your $5 bills.  It is theft.

How is it any different when a bureaucrat does it from Washington?

It isn't different.  One is lawful, the other is not.  But they are both theft., and moral violations.  Both impact your ability to buy groceries and otherwise get $10 worth of good or services.

Why should the bureaucrat have any more legal protection than the thief with the .45?

He shouldn't.

Think about that when you have had enough.  Don't bother targeting the bad guy with the .45 - find the guy with the computer who can steal the value of your money (and your house/car/groceries) through the legalized theft of Quantitative Easing.  Then focus on every bureaucrat and politician and Bankster who facilitates the act.

Identify the proper targets, and this war for Liberty will be over faster, cleaner, and more judicially.

And in case you wonder: The Kerodin Doctrine is 100% supportive of Citizen Trials.  Just use valid arguments and stay away from prejudices as you deliver sentences and punishments.  You may be surprised how effective a sentence will be if you order the guilty party to leave the country within 24 hours, or face a more harsh sentence.

How do I justify the moral validity of Citizen Trials?  We the People institutied our Governments o perform cts on our behalf.  When those people in our Governments refuse to do the work we have authorized, we reserve the right to strip them of their sole authority and do the work ourselves.

When you hire a carpenter to frame in a new wall, you do not adbdicate all responsibility to ensure the wall is built properly.  You can fire the carpenter.  You can tell him to do it differently.  You can pick up your own hammer and help him do it the way you want it.  But you never abdicate control over the project.

When a politician stops doing the work we have authorized, trat him like a carpenter.

It is impossible for any serious person to accept the so-called 99% as thinking, sentient beings if you have ever been beyond American borders into parts of the world where people exist on 2-3 dollars each day.  $4 is a very good day for a very significant population on the planet.

The level of stupidity about the real world that is packed into the average Occupy camp defies comprehension by rational people.  How do we possibly undo a lifetime of indoctrination suffered by these poor idiots at the hands of social engineers (Communists) in the schools and universities?  It can be done, but most people would not be able to watch one of these 99% morons go through the Awakening process.

You see, when a man runs his mouth like a person who's never had his nose bloodied, then a properly applied elbow strike to the nose instills an instant understanding of the real world for the poor fool.  What about the college-educated, dirty, unwashed, foul-mouthed rapists at Occupy camps who think it is a hardship when they have to eat ice cream scooped by Ben & Jerry, or accept handouts from $30 burger joints?  Stop feeding them.  Let them understand the simple concept my Uncle had at his place when I was a kid - don't do chores through the day, you don't eat at night.

Ask any "Poverty-stricken" black man or woman if they'd like to be part of the "Poverty Class" in any country in Africa.  I have asked that question more than 50 times to folks living in bad (by American standards) circumstances, and never once did a single "poor" person in DC think they'd rather be in Africa.

The biggest hardship faced by the 99% here is how to charge their smartphones while camping in the middle of the city.

Here is my answer to our 99% problem, which is really a FSA problem: Make them leave America.  Put them on a bus across the border, a ship or a plane to another land.  If they don't like those ideas, get the herd moving and make them flee to the border, either in a car they appropriate, or running ahead of a determined group of Patriots who are tired of feeding, clothing and otherwise supporting their existence.

You see, I am convinced that being an American is not simply a matter of birth. Yes, you are an American by birth if you are born here, but remaining American carries responsibilities.  You can forfeit your right to be recognized as an American, folks.  And real Americans have the Right to kick you from the Tribe.

It isn't PC.  It isn't nice.  It is, indeed, harsh and rough.  But if you threaten the existence of the Tribe with your foolish demands that the Tribe is responsible for feeding you Cheetos that the Tribe has earned through hard work...that simply isn't American and you do not have any moral right to remain.

And frankly, many of us have had just about our fill of such foolishness.

Yes, we are the minority these days.  You slackers and FSA advocates outnumber us exponentially.  But ask me who I think has the advantage in a fight between a 50 year old trucker who believes in American Ideals and 10 or 12 FSA slugs...even if those slugs are protected by LEO.  My money goes on the Trucker, folks.  Every time.

America today is like a magnificent pie made by the loving hands of the bestest woman in your life.  She made it with care and love.  She put the best ingredients in it.  Then some idiot pours in a pound of salt.  What is she to do?  She scoops out the salt...every last grain of it.

Then we have our cake, again.

Same-same with the FSA, Communists, slackers, Banksters, mortgage hustlers, and general idiots who do not respect your Natural and Constitutional Rights.

Kick them out.  Then we have the Founder's republic again.

Simple.

It has been a long day, folks.  This will be my last post before finding my bed.

Do you feel as if we Patriots are moving forward? 

I do.  I hope it continues. 

I have two requests:  First, make it a point to go to all of your gun buddies and tell them to cough up $5 or so and drop it into the radio ad buy fund.  Second, you visit many blogs that are not, technically, III sites.  Please go to them and ask them to link IIIPercent.com and America527.org.  If they do, we'll recip.  We need outreach.

III Gear

My Condor tactical cap just arrived, and immediately earned a III Patch.  The patches are sturdy and thick, so a trip or two through the wash might help soften it up.  There is also a velcro strip along the back of the cap, I'll add a name tape at some point.

Here is one of my Go Bags, this one is a Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger.  Note the III Patch and new name tape.  I can recommend the Kodiak bag.  It is well-constructed, and it has pockets everywhere.

We Will Defend Our Liberties to The Death: Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers

I've really had my fill of OathKeepers. 

Rhodes is at InfoWars proclaiming that they will defend their rights against NDAA to the death.

OK, fair enough.  That rhetoric will find few objections among the III.

But is it simply one more case of a hollow hero drawing lines in the sand that will not be defended?  Indeed, will OathKeepers not be the very Enforcers of the Enemies of Liberty who murder Citizens under the "Law" of NDAA?

For more than 18 months I have had an open question to the OathKeepers that they refuse to answer: OathKeepers, how do your current members handle enforcement of laws that violate Natural and Constitutional law right now, today?  If you arrest a person for carrying a firearm or a joint, if your members participate in home invasions for drug activity, how can we believe that one day in the future your people will refuse orders that violate the Constitution?

Look up hypocrisy, and you see current OathKeepers.

Do any of my readers have the ear of Rhodes?  Can you please pose that question to him and let me know if you get a reply?  I would really like to know how they square the logic.

I'm writing InfoWars to see if they will ask him, since he is in contact with them.

The reality: OathKeepers would appear to be nothing more than a membership driven money-making enterprise with no genuine moral conviction to the stated goals of the organization.  Until I am provided a rational and logical answer to my question, I will hold the same conclusion.

Yes, I hold NRA in the same camp.  NRA collects more than $200,000,000 a year.

That's $200 million.  That's real money.

And how much did they spend in donations to Congressional candidates in the 2012 cycle?

$270,000.  Yep, that's it.  And remember, some of that money went to Harry Reid.

I can't find the source, so I hesitate to write this, but I'll do it anyway: According to the Brady folks (who are motivated to inflate the numbers as much as possible) the NRA has contributed only about $21 million to politicians in the last 20 years.  They make $200 million per year, and give out an average of 1 million to candidates.

Where does the rest of the money go?  Sure, issue advocacy and training accounts for some.  But make no mistake, the folks who work in upper management at NRA live in very nice homes in McLean.  Until I see otherwise, I have no choiuce but to put OathKeepers in the same category - political groups that are in it only for the money.

One of our very supportive III Patriots suggested that we make the III a dues organization, and that our members be required to assume responsibilities much like volunteer firemen.  When there is an event in a particular AO, it will be the responsibility of our local III members to get there and influence the outcome, supported by cash from the III Organization.

I hope we can consider such an evolution, one day.  I would love to have even a portion of NRA or OathKeeper funds that we could send to, for instance, III Patriots in Jose Guerera's AO so they could fly our colors, demand redress, and generally shine a patriotic light on every member of that criminal gang in uniform that murdered him. 

But we aren't there, yet.

By the way, Mr. Rhodes - were there any OathKeepers on that team?  Were there any OathKeepers in the ranks of LEO that gave that raid a stamp of approval?  Were there any OathKeepers on the Federal team that invaded the home in Alaska and kidnapped a man in front of men, women and children?  Was the Canton cop one of yours?  How about Birk, who murdered the deaf woodcarver.  Do you have any active members working in Fusion centers and facilitating the violation of rights?  Do you have dues-paying members who are, right now, geared-up and planning to kick in the door of some home with suspected drug activity?

Were any of your members sent to the hospital by the guy who was responsible for dropping 6 home invaders in uniform, sending one to the morgue?  How about a year earlier when the same SWAT Team killed a man for defending his home and hearth with a golf club...were any of your members on that team?

OathKeepers? 

III Patriots: I am working with you to build a political machine.  I refuse to help build an organization like NRA or any other that is more interested in paying high salaries to top members than doing the work promised to members.  If you ever see our organization drifting in that direction, I invite you to call us on it, in public.  I will either explain the circumstances in public to your satisfaction, or I will have failed you.

This is why I chose a 527 organization.  Our filings must be public.  Had I created a 501, all sorts of financial mischief could be hidden.

That is not how I operate.  I put my name on everything I do.  I stand tall and I welcome challenge for my beliefs.  When the Enemies of Liberty have had enough of my presence, they'll know where to find me.

And that is the only way we will win the war for Liberty - by standing tall, in the open, and defeating by any means necessary every attempt the Enemies of Liberty make to infringe our Rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

President Obama is a gift from the R's, not the D's...

For those who are willing to swallow their disgust and comply with the will of the Establishment to cast a vote for Mitt, because he is better than President Obama, just understand that you will be doing what the Establishment wants you to do.

You do remember and understand that we have a President Obama because of the Republican Establishment, don't you?  And I am not talking about the fact that they ran John McCain.

Think back a few more years, when Barack Obama was running for the US Senate and he faced Alan Keyes.

The Republican Establishment abandoned Alan Keyes, refused to give him even superficial support, because Alan Keyes (like Ron Paul) represented a genuine philosophical difference from not only the Establishment Left, but also the Establishment Right.

The Republicans abandoned Alan Keyes, and thus we earned Senator Barack Obama.

And then we earned President Obama.

The Republican Establishment will do exactly the same thing if Ron Paul wins the nomination.  They will abandon him, because so long as there is a President Obama, the Establishment will have a seat at the table.

And please do not waste any energy considering the influence a second-place Ron Paul will carry into the Republican Convention.  Sure, they may permit him to give a speech.  They may give lip service to a few of his ideas, in an attempt to bring your votes to Mitt.

I hope for anyone who hasn't yet learned the truth: The Establishment Republicans are Enemies of Liberty.  Lesser of evils?  Sure, maybe in the primaries.

But if Mitt Romeny is nominated, my position is simple: Let it all burn to the ground.

I will not vote for Mitt.  I can envision no difference in the next 4 years between a Mitt Presidency and another Obama Presidency, except perhaps the speed of Implosion.

As a recruiting drive for the III, such a turn of events can't be beaten.

Let it burn.
