Here's the link.

And this, too: A revolution would do it, with all the past sources of indignities becoming lead sponges.

Yes, sir. That's just plain good insight. Here's the post.

I feel a surge of pride when I know I am in the midst of other Patriots.

Why I have Faith in the Constitution

I think I owe one final post on why I have confidence in the Constitution, why I am convinced that the Hologram folks are dead wrong, and why I think that as ratified, while implemented in the spirit of the DoI and BoR would correct this country, return us to a republic in hours, and return the republic to the highest goals set forth by Jefferson & Company.

If I thought that filling our House, Senate and Oval Office (only the elected positions for now) with Patriots like Concerned America, Tom Baugh, Miss Violet, AP, Bill Nye, Ken Lane, Rich T, Brock, RegT, Tam, Zoomie, Curtis, Trainer, Russ Longcore, Bill Buppert, Alvie, TL, Will, Craig, Mozart, CIII, John Mosby, Dan III, Denninger, Mike C. Mike B., Kent, Keith, Deacon, Blue, and others from this Community would make no difference, would run with the same or more tyranny and perversion of Liberty as we have now, I'd walk away from this entire aspect of my life.

You look at that roster (and forgive me if I left anyone off who deserves to be there, my memory is wretched and I am typing fast) and you tell me that group of people in the House, Senate and Oval would keep the Status Quo.

Not one of you can say that, not with a straight face. And if you do I'll call you an f'n liar and/or idiot.

You say we can't vote our way out of this? Sadly, I suspect you are correct. But not for the reasons you may think. My reasons are timeline, course and speed. Many of you think that "The evil conspiracies" of the world would never let it happen, would never let such people into office.

Sorry, I call BS on that one. Jefferson was President. Hamilton was not.

The simple fact is that we elect Bad People every cycle because we have let our country become filled with Bad People who are lazy, entitled and FSA.

Who do you think is in that 50% of people who never go to the polls? It is OUR people. The Silent Majority, or what's left of it.

No, I am not going to make a play to get these folks to run for office. There is no point given the imminent implosion. After the culling of the herd, however...

But my point stands: If these people were in office and the remaining seats filled with men and women like them, the abuses of "Government" would end, right now.

If you think of the Constitution as an engine, it needs maintenance. It also needs the proper fuel. If you fuel it with Bad People, as we have done, you get bad results.

This marks the end of this topic for me. I am moving forward to achieve results, not quibble about how many Angels...

Lead, Follow, or get the Hell out of the way...

Look across the blogs in what I consider to be "our" Community. By "our" I mean men and women who find they have a LOT in common with the original three percent of Americans (at any one time) who took the field and fought, killed and died in the pursuit of Liberty in RevWarI.

III. That's the label I most associate with myself when I must try to define myself to people in political discussions. I am a small 'r' republican, yes. But even that doesn't say it all, or as neatly as does 'III'.

You see, in my mind, a republican will spend more time trying to reason and coerce and convince people to leave him alone.

A III Patriot will try. We'll even, usually, walk away. Hell, most of us have been trying to find a place to be left alone our entire lives. But we'll swing more quickly than any republican I have ever known. And we'll swing faster than any Republican, Democrat, and even Anarchistic Zero-Gov folk I have ever known. And, well, the Non-Aggression people - I respect your intent, folks. I swear I do. But your enemies do not.

III says: Leave me be, or else.

And we mean it.

Most of us mean it, anyway.

Talk is cheap.

Consider for a few moments the actions that have been taken in the last 18 months or so in our little III Community:

PatComs: Every single one of you, especially the Hosts/Coordinators, have my greatest respect. I include you guys who have run and attended RTC's.

Bloggers: You are our voice. You are documenting our own long train of abuses. You work to keep people aware of the evils and predations of the Enemies of Liberty. And every single one of you people who comment on the blogs, you are our voice as well. You know what you risk. You know you are on a list - or several. You already know you have a bus seat with your name on it, just for showing up. Some guys share their combat skills and advice. Some are expert in everything from auto mechanics to electronics to trucking. Every single one of you add to our collective voice and strengths.

"Thinkers": This is a special category for folks like Concerned American, AP, Dio, Tom Baugh, TL, Brock, Zoomie, Ken Lane, Bill Nye and many others who dare to throw red meat into the ring and challenge us all to engage our brains. You are not afraid to offer controversy. There is a line of reasoning that is very powerful that contends that when we speak and finds gaps between us, we improve ourselves by working to bridge the gaps or fill them in with logic and reason.

Books: Bracken, Baugh, TL, and Royce have published books to challenge you to think. III to Liberty was an effort that included essays from Concerned American, AP, Alvie, TL, Mike Brahier. I added a few tidbits and strung it together, but make no mistake, III to Liberty was a community effort far beyond those listed. Many of you remember that for more than a month we batted around what concepts should and should not be included to help define our political platform. I ran dozens of polls at Kerodin.com and hundreds of you weighed-in to help refine the message. III to Liberty is our book.

I wrote "Our Fathers Weep: It's the Constitution, Stupid!" prior to my finding the III. And now a much wider group of us are working on another book project that is building bridges into the "NRA" community of gunners (our SHTF Go Bag project). This book project has the support of several serious companies, including Gerber, Kimber, Benchmade and more. There will be more before we are done. This is proof that we are gaining legitimacy rather than being lumped into the "Fringe" with the likes of skinheads and keyboard commandos.

Radio Ads: We are currently running ads for our message in two markets, with more coming. One of those markets is completely the result of a III Patriot taking the initiative (and his hard-earned money) and buying radio time and cutting the ad himself.

This project, too, involved many of you who voted that we should go for it. Russ from Dump DC, a hardcore Secessionist, understands that we agree on far more than not, and he and his wife devoted their time and energy and resources to build one of the ads running. Tell me how a Constitutionalist and a Secessionist can work together like that, and not call it bridge-building? By the way - Russ is just a nice damned guy, to boot.

III Gear: We built a logo and we have built a line of gear, from patches to flags to mugs to hats (with more stuff coming) that builds cohesion among us, morale, and gets our message out there when our III Patriots hit PatComs, shooting ranges, gun shops, and eventually, Occupy camps and more. Even the Logo was a group effort, with Resist coming solely from AP.

Media Strike: We've decided to launch a media strike that is deliberately intended to offend the Enemies of Liberty. The format will be a poster and I promise you, it will leave no doubt in the minds of Bad Peaople, FSA, Bad Politicians and Bad LEO, and supporters of all these groups that we think they are Enemies of Liberty and parasitic genetic waste.

All of this is forward action, folks.

I am not a talk-about-it kind of guy who never acts.

I act. That is how work gets done.

We speak of the value of Tribes, and some of you are actually working to build networks of people on whom you can rely when it gets ugly. There is talk of Resilient Communities. There is talk of this, that and the other...much of which is putting the cart before the horse, such as the debate about how bad the Constitution is and how it will be replaced/tweaked after we win and the Bad People are gone or neutered.

Hey, guys: Bad People are still here, multiplying faster than 3rd world bunnies, and any serious objective party will put their money on them winning this thing.

I'll leave others to discuss how they will govern, or not be governed, once "we've" won.

Until then, I am taking further action. Our Wyoming concept hasn't even been given a decent working title yet, because we've simply been toying with the idea. I am now at a point that I have moved beyond "Wouldn't it be cool if..." and I am now committed to making it happen.

Title: III Pioneer Project

Concept: Start a Firearms manufacturing company that will serve as a source of revenue and build a physical community of Liberty-minded folks around it.

Location: Wyoming looks great to me, but it is still undecided.

Location criteria: 1) Low population where a relatively small number of III Pioneers can essentially take political control of a county within a year or so of opening the doors of the company. 2) A state that has favorable disposition to Liberty already codified in law and lifestyle. 3) A state that already has codified into law very strong Pro-2A laws. 4) A state with geography and wildlife that supports a defensible position against any Hordes of FSA who manage to eat through the 'burbs and dare the rougher environs we will choose to call Home.

FedGov & .Mil: The simple fact is that if we draw the concerted efforts of .Mil or FedGov, it really doesn't matter much where we live - eventually they will bomb/burn/starve us out. So, we choose the best place to take a stand, and then avoid contact with their superior force as best we can. Implosion will, probably, put us low on the radar for FedGov.

Kerodin: I intend to make this happen, folks. Mrs. Kerodin and I have agreed. If we are able to underwrite the entire project, we will. (Realistically, that ain't gonna happen within 24 months). So we have decided to explore other means of getting it done.

America527 & III Brand: I would like you folks to weigh in and tell me where you'd like to see America 527 put energy to grow the III Brand. Should we keep going with radio/books/gear? Should we add magazine ads? Should we put together a Gun Show Tour (a very strong favorite of mine) where we can offer III Brand gear and let the gun show crowd know we exist, driving them to our blogs?

Where should we focus our resources? They are not finite. Heck, they aren't even modest!. You'd be surprised how little is left after buying patches/flags/mugs and shipping, then buying a few radio ads, et cetera.

Let me know your thoughts.

Talk is cheap. I will not be part of a Movement that does not move.

How do you think we should keep it going, and growing?

III Brand: Poster Update

The next step for me is to get our Model lined up and start the back-end work of a photo shoot. This part can take a while, I'll let you know when we have made enough progress to loop you back in for an update. I think one way to keep everyone involved will be to narrow down our (our = me & Holly, she is ALWAYS part of this process because she has a great eye for choosing the right Model for a given project) list of potential Models to 3-8 and then let you folks vote for who gets the gig. A "Miss III" of sorts. We cast professional Models and aspiring professionals.

Thank you all again, for all of the support.

K

~~

UPDATE Friday: OK Folks - thank you ALL for stepping up! All we need now are the 3 coats. Here is the link: We need a 42, 46 & 50 in sizes. Please let me know if you are buying one of them so I can announce which size has been taken off the table.

1 each) Fort Laramie Trading Post Continental Army topcoats (sizes 42 & 46 & 50)

~~

We recently floated the idea of a III Media Strike that would include a pretty lass and a hardcore politically-incorrect visual (NOT sexual) that will be in-your-face enough that the Enemies of Liberty may just make enough fuss over it to give the III some free MSM airtime.

I am of the school that considers any media attention to be useful, if the response is capable of capitalizing. If the Left gets stirred up enough to condemn, our natural allies out there will have a reason to find us and a highway to our front door.

I'm pulling the poll on the right, because I have what I need: 94% of you voted to run with it.

We already have a book: Our Political Platform which covers the reasonable articulation of our positions. This qualifies as a serious work.

We have our blogs, which range from strategy & tactics to mockery & derision to critical thinking, all with a common revulsion of the Enemies of Liberty.

We have radio ads live in two markets and I hope to sell out our remaining flags and mugs to finance another market ASAP. This time I'll choose a market that will help promote a PatCom. I think TL's is the best choice, but I will put a poll up and let people vote. I'll go with the winner, given the time to get it done. As I have said before, this is NOT The Kerodin Show - this is our Movement.

The poster concept is our first major move to poke the bear. Nothing stuns an Enemy of Liberty like a sudden, unexpected punch in the throat. Given the dismissal of our values by the MSM, it can't hurt to get on their radar during this election cycle.

We are going forward with the poster. Some of you have dissented. Some with reasoned arguments, others with emotion that, admitted, a lack of knowledge on the concept.

We need a full-spectrum media presence to reach our allies.

I've given you the basic poster concept, you'll have to trust me on the specifics.

We'll print off 1,000 copies and sell them at IIIGear.com, offer them at wholesale to gun shops and we'll find a way to get them into gun shows. I suspect we have a few professional gun show vendors in the crowd. I know we have a few gun shop owners. We'll get them to you at a price that can bring you a good profit. We'll also have the model available to visit your show/shop to draw people in so she can do signings and quick pics for your customers. Charge $3-5 bucks for a quick pic and you and the model will make good money for the day.

We will give away free digital copies so everyone can post it on their website or as wallpaper, if interested. But buying a paper version will be important to help buy more ad space. I have been exploring print ad space in one or more of the better gun mags. (If they'll even accept the ad for our group).

I could ask for cash, but in this case I'm going to try something a bit different. I am going to post a list of items that I need for props in the shoot. Some of you may have the items already and be willing to donate them to the 527. Some of you may be willing to go online and buy them for us. We'll find a way to give you credit in a manner you ask, and we'll also keep your name out of it if you wish.

There will be blowback. I am good at taking hits, and I can stand at point on this. You may not want your blog or personal name attached. You let me know, we'll work something out. I already have my photographer selected, and I am narrowing down my models. I may leave final selection to you on the model after I get it down to 3-5. That's still up in the air, because I may need to nuance her a bit. These gals are career minded, and finding a III model with the proper assets will not be the easiest feat.

So, here is the list of donations I'd like to have you folks contribute:

1) Traditions Firearms Kentucky Rifle (flintlock & .50 caliber for authenticity)
2) Traditions Firearms Kentuck Pistols (flintolock & .50 caliber for authenticity)
1) Cold Steel Frontier Hawk Tomahawk (One already pledged!)
1-3) Fort Laramie Trading Post Continental Army topcoats (sizes 42 & 46 & 50)
Assortment of FedGov Windbreakers: Simple blue or Black windbreakers with FedGov agency initials on the back: DEA, ATF, FBI, EPA, and any other you find repugnant
1) Authentic RevWarI period Possibles Bag & Powder Horn (both with shoulder straps)

As we receive items I'll make sure we let everyone know so that we don't have redundant purchases.

Zoomie, I'm going to request a bit of art from you on this - think of Jefferson nailing a copy of the DoI, Constitution & BoR to a liberty pole in the mood of Restoration. You have mad skillz.

There are many other items that will be worked into the poster that I have already secured, but I'd love help with the above.

The Kentucky rifle & pistols are black powder and can be ordered from any online source and shipped directly to the 527. Shipping BlackPowder arms into Maryland has zero restrictions. I selected Traditions because I think they are the cheapest. But any brand will work, as long as they are Kentucky Model with flintlock and .50 cal. By the way: The prices listed on the Traditions website are much higher than retail across the web.

Most of the list of stuff above has links to the items. With the exception of the Continental Army Coats (which I request be purchased from Fort Laramie Trading Post -They are the best quality/value I have found. There are many inexpensive costume coats out there that simply are not sufficient quality for this project) the other items can be purchased wherever you can find/negotiate the best price.

NOTE: If you own a good quality coat you are willing to donate, ignore the Fort Laramie requirement - the only thing I am trying to avoid is cheapie costumes that come from halloween-type shops.

Let me know if you can help, and let me know if you want public recognition. I know many of you prefer to stay under the radar on such things.

Israel: Schools set to reopen Sunday if calm holds

"Calm" means - if the folks in Gaza stop throwing rockets at Israeli children.

I've included a picture of Israel, with Gaza delineated.

The fix, for a neighbor who is throwing rockets at your children is simple: Ask them to stop throwing rockets at your children.

Once.

The next time you speak, it is NOT with your words.

You give every man, woman and child under your protection a weapon and a ride to the perimeter of Gaza, and you give the folks of Gaza 24 hours to leave. You provide ships so they can get out.

24 hours and 1 minute later, you kill every bastard remaining, and sell the real estate on the cheap.

No more rockets from Gaza. And I'd be willing to bet that none would come from the West Bank, either.

And if a neighbor gets lippy, like Lebanon, or Jordan, or whoever...

...you tell them to shut their yaps or you will reduce your tactical nuclear stockpile by one in 24 hours.

Sorry, folks. I do not care what you think of Jews or collateral damage or any Moral High Ground silliness - no people on Earth are required to endure the attempts of their enemies to kill them and their children. Not one American would be needed to enter the fray. Not one American tax dollar would be needed on weapons.

If my neighbors on Floral or Chestnut were throwing rocks at my house, there would soon become available some very inexpensive real estate where Floral and Chestnut once were.

It's that simple.

Here's the story.

III: Wyoming Pioneer Concept

Wyoming Sentiment: What sort of reception might we find if we pioneer into your State and make a footprint? I open this to current Wyoming residents and anyone who may have insight on the topic. For those of you who know - was there backlash when FreeState Wyoming ventured into the state? How much? Would any annoyance be overcome with job opportunities? I'm not worried about any Liberal folks - we're looking to make their voice meaningless, anyway. But what about the typical Wyoming resident, rancher, shop owner, et cetera? This is an aspect I hadn't considered.

~~

I've added a poll in the upper right of the page about a physical III Community. Please take a second and hit what applies to you. This is merely to determine if this is a topic I should continue developing. Many people across the Liberty Movement find the idea of "Resilient Communities" and similar concepts appealing.

For those who have been engaged in the discussion about a III Community, I'm going to post a comment below from Chad, who is a tax professional who did us the kindness of looking into a few basics of a firearms company that would serve as the core revenue stream to support such an effort.

I have my eye on a firearms manufacturing firm for several reasons. First, I want to do it. Second, it would annoy our Federal Masters. Third, it is a serious business with the potential to accomplish our goal, which is to build an industry around which a serious community can be supported. Fourth, those of us who think a serious SHTF scenario is imminent, and a serious disruption of the Status Quo is coming at us like a freight train, would be well-served by having as an asset for our ideology a working firearms factory and complementary ammo facility.

Did mention that I want to do it?

As you'll see by the work Chad submitted, the legal hurdles and business logistics are not insignificant.

As anyone who ever went through a particular US Army program has heard before: I won't do it for you, but I'll do it with you.

Mrs. Kerodin and I researched this effort about 2-2.5 years ago. Timing is everything, and I think the time for this idea is maturing.

So, let's recap a bit. Nothing is carved in stone, but I think the way many of us are leaning is: A Wyoming community in a low-population area of Sublette or Fremont counties where we can go in and set up shop. Regardless of how we end up securing capital, I think we all agree that the community is open to any serious Liberty advocate. Your financial situation does not matter to me. Many folks have the resources to sell what they have and move into the area, buy a bit of land or a house. As long as there is income potential, most folks can get there simply by taking the decision.

For folks who do not have such security (I don't know about you, but I've had my arse handed to me financially since about 2008), my plan includes the company purchasing a moderate chunk of land that has an assortment of housing options available. We could set aside a piece of ground for trailer and RV hook-ups. We could drag in a small number of mobile homes or pre-fabs. We could drag in a number of pre-fab cabins in another area. We could build up a dorm environment. Most of these things are relatively inexpensive.

The trade-off for folks who choose dorm life as a starting point, for instance, would receive lower wages to compensate. You get the idea. We will provide a way for ANYONE who is serious about Liberty and SERIOUS about working to improve their lives.

If you are an FFL, gun builder, machinist already, and willing to go through the hassle of getting your FFL 7, and living in such a community appeals to you, please let me know quietly. I'd like to get a sense of how much talent we have already, and how much we'll have to hire-in. All gunsmiths/Armorers must be willing to teach their craft to the others in the company.

Do you have the skills to be handed a firearm, take it apart, copy it and build a fresh one from all new parts (of course, given the proper tools in the shop)? We are going to need at least a few such men & women to get started properly.

I know we have an eclectic group of people from truck drivers to accountants to physicians to help round out a community, and ply their crafts while working with the firearms company. Shipments need truckers (I hope). A community will need a medical professional, et cetera.

I would even consider Class II FFL unless it really hampers getting the operation running. Such a thing could be rolled in later.

To have a chance, we've discussed start-up capital. To survive, the revenue stream would have to be adequate. The payroll needed to make sure everyone can live and improve their lives is not insignificant even for a small community.

That means the company will have to hit the ground running, rather than starting as a small boutique shop and adding a new firearm every few years to expand.

The company will define itself (make that all-important first impression) when the doors open for business by the initial offering of weapons and the quality of those weapons. Here is a list of firearms I think should be ready for production the day we open our doors for business, ready to ship to gun shops:

~~

Our "Signature" line:

A basic 1911 (God's Pistol) (.45 ACP)
An upper-end 1911 with the bells & whistles (.45 ACP)
A Browning Hi Power clone (9mm)
A Jeff Cooper Scout Rifle (.308)
A .50 BMG Rifle
An AR platform with multiple caliber options (rifle & pistol calibers)
A pocket revolver for CQB in .357 (Stainless Steel)
A .22 semi-auto pistol suitable as an all-purpose tool, from hitting rabbits to bipeds.

2 unique handguns that take us out of the tactical genre that help set us apart from other manufacturers. I'll reveal those pieces once we have a shop and begin building inventory (before opening for sales) One is a .50 caliber hand cannon with hunting applications.

~~

If the right opportunity presented, we could even consider the purchase of an existing company with their infrastructure.

What I'd like to know is: What would you consider as an essential addition to our opening day line of firearms?

You'll notice everything I have suggested is steel - no plastics. Not because I have an aversion to plastics (I do prefer steel, but that's not the reason). It is simply that tooling for a plastic product line requires different equipment, skills and infrastructure.

From a marketing perspective, we could offer Gun Shops a deal on a package of our entire line to get product on their shelves. If we have the capital, we can even offer credit terms for better/bigger shops.

Thoughts?

Below is the comment from Chad, on this thread.

Kerodin,

I have briefly looked at Wyoming law and I didn't find any excise taxes at the state level. They were mostly concerned with alcohol and tobacco. Wyoming does have sales tax of 4% with a county option of 1%. They also have property tax, but it is assessed on 9.5% of the value of the property. For ex. you have a 100,000 piece of property, you will take this times 9.5% to get $9,500. Then to get the tax, take the $9,500 times the tax rate (a maximum of 12%) which is $1,140. This seems high, but Wyoming has to fill the coffers somehow. As you are aware, no individual or business income taxes. Which is good.

I also briefly looked at the FAET laws. Man, what a quagmire that is. You have the tax of 10% for each handgun and 11% for each rifle, shotgun or ammo you manufacture. On top of that, in another area, the Company has to pay a tax of $200 per weapon, a flat tax. To go further, there is a $1,000 a year per location "occupation" tax. So three plants, $3,000. This is on top of gaining the approval for each location. The company has an annual filing with the Secretary of each Internal Revenue District in which business is carried.

In essence, forms upon forms upon taxes. I have just scratched the surface on this issue and regulations on firearms manufacture are abundant.

If this were to ever come closer to reality it would be wise to map this whole area out so you don't step in any holes from the get go.

I know the view I just gave is more like 80,000 feet up vs. 40,000. I will need more time to get down there. My job right now is consuming most of my time.

I will say this though, with the complexity and the legal hurdles, I would expect the best business format to do this would be a C corporation. This will go a long way to insulating the owners of the company. Also, there is a lot of talk in my profession about a real possibility for C corporation tax rates going down while individual rates go up.

As much as it sucks paying any tax, to not pay the tribute will end this not long after it begins.

Chad

Thank you, Chad. That is exactly the thumbnail we needed.

Deacon Matson

It ain't just the FSA, ma!

As Deacon points out in his piece, the same sense of privilege exists throughout Establishment life, regardless of economic station.

That is the enemy. And that is an overwhelming enemy that only harsh life lessons will be able to teach, I think. And, most will Fail.

Your $600,000/year neighbors have far more in common with the average FSA Food Stamp/Disability whore than with you.

Think about it for about 30 seconds, and you'll realize that you don't have enough ammo...

Here's the link. It is a good piece.

Would you bend knee to any nine people who say you must?

From TL's latest.

I added the emphasis. I have made this point before, and it upset a few folks who tried to argue that a true Constitutionalist must yield to the whims of the Supreme Court. Bunk!

This is from TL:

In the end it doesn't matter if the Supreme Court buys this sudden end-around and agrees to find Obamacare and its million tentacles of injustice "Constitutional". That's just a word as vague as any other.

The real question is whether the people find it Constitutional.

Most will accept the ruling of the justices, because they don't [ ] the Constitution. They will consider the ruling the last word as they have throughout American history, because they are ignorant of everything but the winner of some reality show.

You, Sir and Madame, are the Supreme Court. You always have been.

I refer you once again to the column below about the vets who meant to have the Obama flag removed. That is how the Constitution was always meant to be enforced for the sake of Liberty. Men and women who understand right from wrong get off their arses and go make it right. Laws and Constitutions are for lawful and moral people. Everyone else is genetic waste and does not deserve to live among us.

Restore the Constitution as Ratified

I recently allowed myself to be drawn into a pointless discussion about the merits of the Constitution and possible revisions.

I'm not deriding anyone who is taking part in the discussions, or invalidating any of their positions. But for me, at this point, it is all Sparklies, and I allowed myself to be distracted. It is divisive, not cohesive.

I am working toward cohesion.

When 50 guys who visit these blogs get into seriously heated discussions about version X or version Y of a Constitution, what do you think will happen if a cross-section of "average" Americans send their delegates to weigh-in on the topic?

Here is my position: The US Constitution needs to be restored, as ratified, and implemented in the spirit of the DoI and BoR. That is the goal for which I am working.

The primary reason I am working for this goal: No document has ever been written to better set boundaries for governance that respects Liberty. No, it is not perfect, but it is the best ever written by men, and if implemented by Liberty-minded folks, it can only be modestly improved. But the Hologram folks who insist it was a conspiracy from the beginning, I just can't be bothered.

Improvements? As I said, in the spirit of the DoI and BoR. That means that all men are created equal and skin color and genetalia makes no difference.

From a practical perspective, we'll never get anyone in the NRA part of the world to fight for something that is, to their minds, smoke. AoC and any new Constitution is smoke. Our current Founding Documents are a frame of reference they can grasp, even if they do not understand them. It is a rally point that Americans can recognize.

I have one respectful comment here on Dio's piece, and I'll make more at his place as promised: Most of what he offers is already in place in the current Constitution, but ignored. Senators should be beholden to the State, as in the original. One argument he brings up, regarding who should be able to participate, was discussed in the original Convention. Should it be only land owners? Should women be allowed? Should members of the FSA be allowed?

Here is where I say the Constitution, as ratified, handles the FSA as voters: The Constitution as ratified does not PERMIT an FSA. If we Restore the Constitution, as ratified, and implemented in the spirit of the DoI and BoR, the FSA simply will not exist. No more handouts.

To those who say the Constitution lacks teeth and self-enforcement - Treason is in place and handles any attempt to corrupt. As to self-enforcement, no law can ever do it. It takes people to act. We already have laws on the books, as outlined in III to Liberty, against the very abuses we suffer every day, and none are enforced.

The concept of appointing a militia to enforce laws about Constitutional behavior becomes moot because of subjective arguments about "What is Constitutional" and the ability to stack any militia the same way they stack the Supreme Court with Establishment players.

You want to know how the Founders and Framers intended the document to be enforced?

Here's a story about a group of Vets who went to the Dem Headquarters and decided they would remove the above flag that was flying with President Obama's face on it.

That's how you enforce the ideals embodied in any Constitution or law.

You go and you do it.

You do not rely on others to do it for you, or do it to themselves.

You go and do it yourself. And anyone in your way catches some, too.

Restore the Constitution, as ratified, and implemented in the spirit of the DoI and BoR.

Then we can talk about tweeking it.

Here's the link to the story about the vets who live Jefferson's intent.

Just an Observation

It is fascinating how unreliable the mail system becomes when you are suing a major company.

We have made more than 400 shipments since starting America 527 and we've had one (1) person whose package of stickers never arrived, and we've had one (1) package returned (which was my fault).

Yet, it is fascinating that professional law firms don't seem to get mail...

Registered Agents refuse packages multiple times...

...yet their mail to me arrives flawlessly...

Ah, what a curious world in which we live.

Dreams versus Adventures

Dreamers are often defined by the fact that the big ideas they create remain in the realm of ideas, thus earning the mildly derisive Dreamers label.

But what about those folks who think big and then work to make it happen? Then the 'Dream' becomes an Adventure.

Adventures are real, with real-world risks and rewards.

Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Louis & Clark, Dan Morgan, John Parker: Adventurers.

Some Adventurers go in search of Adventure, some simply refuse to ignore a challenge when it lands at their feet. Either way, such people earn the title: Adventurer.

We recently scratched the surface of an idea about a III Community in Wyoming. Dream, or Adventure? That depends entirely on us, doesn't it?

I have taken some big risks in my life, and been kicked in the teeth more than once (and more than rhetorically). My wife and I have worked for months without taking a paycheck so we could pay employees, even knowing we were eating into our savings on a one-way trip, simply so we could help keep our employees earning a paycheck as long as possible. When TL mentions losing a business and the heartache involved, I know exactly what he is talking about.

I have also had some of my biggest rewards simply because I chased the idea rather than letting it reside entirely in the realm of inaction (Dreams). My wife is in that category. She is way out of my league. But the day I met her I knew she was the one for me. I sent her flowers that day (anonymously) and called my mother and told her I had met the woman I'd marry.

Holly wasn't as easy to convince.

Two years later we married.

Had I not pursued her, I would have missed the best 10 years of my life. (By the way, guys, my success at wooing her proves that if done properly, stalking can be an effective technique. ;)

In our lawsuit against ServiceMagic, Inc., Holly and I were living our lives, running an HVAC business, and we discovered that ServiceMagic had registered domains very similar to domains we had been using for years as Service Marks, domains that our customers used to reach us. The consumers in the market were being bled from our legitimate websites to theirs, and the leads then sold to our direct competitors.

We wrote their local affiliate a polite letter (not a threatening letter from an attorney, as is typical in such cases) and asked them to please stop using the infringing domains. Their response was...less than polite or satisfactory.

So, we filed suit.

That is an example of an Adventure that came to us, and never had to happen.

What does any of this have to do with the agenda of this blog?

If we choose to create a III Community somewhere, we can do it. The only thing standing in the way is inaction, of permitting oneself to be intimidated by the work involved. I'm not built that way. I don't think many III Patriots are built that way, either. Read the comment Miss Violet left about her tax return, and you'll see that she isn't built that way, to be sure!

Cash is the biggest impediment to a Wyoming concept. Someone has to get the cash required to get the ball rolling, properly, and then go to Wyoming and get the ball rolling physically.

To that end I have a new column posted at Kerodin.com today. I encourage everyone to read it, and especially any member of our community who is a serious professional in the finance world, and anyone who is supportive of the concept of a living, breathing III Community (even if you have no intention of living in one).

Here's the link.

III Mugs: Delivered

Hi folks,

If you have ordered mugs they'll begin shipping tomorrow. If you ordered mugs with other gear, it'll all ship together (except flags). The mugs were printed in 3 days, the flags take 12 (I should have the flags late this week or very early next.)

As you can see, I ordered the logo for both sides of the mug, and dropped the Resist from this batch. I probably won't drop Resist with future gear.

So, if you've ordered mugs, they'll be on the way. If you haven't ordered yours - order them at IIIGear.com now. I'd rather not have my shelves sitting with product, and I'd like to order another radio spot in another market ASAP, hopefully in time to support a local PatCom.

Thanks for all the support.

Wisdom from a Patriot

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”

I'm from the Government, and I'd like to correct your facts...

You are a reporter (a real-life paid-for-writing sort) and LEO knocks on your door...at home...at 12:45 AM...to "make sure you have the right information" regarding a story you wrote that the Chief of Police didn't like.

Welcome to the Police State.

Sure, the Chief of Police apologized for his "poor judgement".

But the reporter still got the message, didn't he? As did his co-workers. As did the blogging world, which is filled with many more people who are afraid of LEO than you may think.

And what do you think would happen if you, a Citizen, showed up at the Chief's house at 12:45 AM because you wanted to "be sure he had the right information..." about a case?

That day is closer than many people may think...

Here's the story, sent in by Will.
