Current Events

Many of you have noticed that I have shifted the focus of the blog away from commenting on most news stories, as most fall into the Sparklie category, or are symptoms one can expect when the world around us is caught in a spiral circling the bowl.

There are many good sites that cover the blow-by-blow. It is important to remain informed of daily events, and it is important to hit sites that offer perspective. I still do it from time to time if it ties into something I find relevant at the moment.

But I am primarily focused on actions that grow our numbers, build cohesion and morale. I can't be bothered by endless discussions that always cycle back to the beginning every 3-6 months. Curtis has pointed out several times that time and again people in our Community try to re-invent the wheel, define the problem, exercise themselves about "What are our goals...", plot a course and similar unproductive repetitions, only to start again in 3-6 months.

I prefer to work with and support the folks you do not see every day on our blogs who are building quietly in their own AO. You'll notice a few of the original PatCom folks have shifted to a lower profile. Don't think they are on the couch watching re-runs. They are boring down into their AO. We have several militia units/groups who are working weekly to improve, and they don't advertise much. We have a group of bloggers who are here day after day getting intel out to you that is useful, analysis that is important, supporting the private efforts, avoiding the repetitious circle-jerking and counting of Angels on the heads of pins.

Now is not the time to waste your energy on the superfluous.

Stock your shelves. Prepare the ground around your Castle. Dig deep and gather intel on the folks in your AO who will need your attention, before they decide that you need attention. Get a sense of who in your AO has what, and get a sense of who may be useful in X circumstances.

Most importantly, do not allow a sense of overwhelm to cause inaction.

What Evil this way comes? All signs point to economic reset, but Mad Max and Book of Eli scenarios with loss of the power grid and the end of the flow of goods & services are simply not realistic.

Yes, there will be some of that, especially in Metro areas that already have aspects of those scenarios in play. In Metros, the areas where FedGov will retain influence the longest, you'll have full-scale rape, pillage & plunder in bursts. You already have gangs with firepower and turf wars in those areas.

But if you live more than 20 minutes from any Metro, odds are you will not have to duck & dodge roving hordes of apocalyptic killer Tribes. Be ready to defend yourself, obviously. But surrendering common sense is the fastest way to get into trouble. Jobs? Say what you will, but most Americans are hardcore Capitalists, at heart. It is in the interest of the power plant to stay operational, so you guys and gals with guns will get work securing the station and transmission lines. You'll get work guarding food & medical shipments and storehouses. You'll get work securing retail locations.

Once things settle, and commerce stabilizes, the trades will recover and in many areas life will not be much harder than it is now.

Do you lie awake at night waiting for the Chinese Horde to land in California to extract their trillions in debt?

Please take a Lunesta and get a good night of sleep. The first thing you and your neighbors will do is shoot the ChiCom you meet in downtown Denver, then you'll kill the silly politicians who allowed him entry. The reality is that China will, eventually, "forgive" our debt, because they will understand that we have no intention of paying. Everyone will try to find them a Face-saving out, but the end result is the same: They get squat, and they can't take the Sears Tower to China.

Make no mistake, every Patriot in America will probably be forced to bear arms, enter Harm's Way and help get the herd of Enemies of Liberty moving, and calling many of them to the gallows to pay for their crimes.

Balkanize? Not likely. Thinkers understand the reason we are the world's only Superpower is a result of our coast-to-coast bonds. When folks in Virginia begin to think themselves better than Californians, and acting on those thoughts, we become Europe, with endless wars that do nothing to strengthen us and everything to weaken us. More States Rights is good, Balkanization will be treated as a War Crime by this guy.

I've covered a lot of ground in this morning ramble. It isn't really offered as debate fodder, just a position statement. Stay or go if you wish. You know where I stand, and where I am going.

I have business for the 527 in Wichita in the near future, and it is my intent to make it to major Metro cities over the summer & early fall to meet as many of you as possible, and to help facilitate the Local aspects of building Tribes.

Consider: Gary Johnson

You know that I take the position that voting is a requirement of Citizenship, an obligation to the ideal of peaceful transfer of power and a respect we owe to every man, woman and child who has ever fought and/or died for the ideal of Liberty in America.

Given the choice of pulling a lever for President Obama or Mitt Romney, most would prefer to open a vein.

Write-in candidates are a diffuse protest, at best.

But you do have a genuine venue to cast a protest vote this cycle: The Libertarian is on the ballot in every state.

Is he perfect? Nope. Will he win? Nope. If he wins will our ills fade and will Unicorns start pooping Skittles? Nope. Am I a Gary Johnson fan? Nope.

But if you take the time to explore his platform, I think you'll find that you agree with more of his positions than oppose.

Does he offer a platform that won't make you hurl? Maybe...

TL: Singing on the Train

I mentioned recently that Implosion has been happening for a few years now, held at bay and obfuscated to some degree by clever and motivated men. TL writes in his latest that "The Event" all the rowdy Patriots are waiting for, before they act, happened in 2009. I can't help but think of a dog who looks around for the ball that the kid never actually threw.

Implosion has already begun, folks. The Police State is not a thing of the future, it is here now, the news you read is merely a refinement of their techniques. The war is on.

The American Liberty Congress is not an attempt to sway opinion in our Halls of Power. I am not seeking to prevent anything. I've been here before - I know when I am being attacked. The Liberty Congress is nothing more than our noble Declaration to the Marxists and Enemies of Liberty that we are not slumbering, and we have no f'n intention of going quietly into that good night.

Remember your Patrick Henry, the time is upon us: They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Folks, the only Leader you will find in these days is in your mirror and wears your boots. The only Soul who will protect the patch of ground beneath your feet in the name of Liberty is you. You cannot delegate this responsibility. You can not vote in a proxy. It is on you, and you alone, to stand up and be counted, damn the consequences.

If you are waiting for SHTF, folks, you are behind the curve.

Change your perspective and understand that you have been declared an Enemy of the State, they have already codified into law that your actions and beliefs are crimes, they have your coordinates programmed into a database, they know where you work, where you shop, where you bank, where to find your children. They simply have not, yet, ordered a firing solution on your position.

Stop being defensive. Lean into the wind, folks, for the Fight for Liberty is upon us.

Make use of whatever time you have. Do not hide. Do not go down without a fight.

But most importantly, you must understand that the fight is already begun.

The time is not in the future. The Rubicon has been crossed.

The time to do Hard Things is upon you and me.

CDP on Rick Scott's Murder by LEO

I trained most of my adult life with serious men and women who studied how to defend themselves by killing others. I never once set foot into a shopping-center dojo. I trained with real Warriors, and there are many, many dojos across this great country that you will never hear about, much less gain access, without introductions from other serious dojos and Warriors. You may think serious martial arts dojos train only in empty hand, knives, staff, swords and archaic weapons. You'd be wrong.

Here's one important lesson I learned: No matter how good you are, no matter how many Warriors you can conquer, there is always someone who is better than you. More importantly, once you start playing at a certain level, the odds of you walking away from a fight that you "win" are greatly reduced, for even in defeat most Warriors of a certain caliber will find a way to kill you on their way out of this life.

I am not kidding when I say that my first weapon of choice for most fights these days is a Chevrolet. I have no intention of going toe-to-toe with a 20-something MMA kid who is 20 years my junior. I have no intention of trying to box a boxer. I have no intention of ever trying to get into a deathfight with pistols against a man as skilled as Colonel Cooper.

Some things are just stupid. I, am not stupid.

Please pay particular attention to CDP's assessment of why LEO chose to murder Rick Scott. He is dead-on target.

Equal fights may be noble, in a swashbuckling and romantic way, but when the goal is to live through the fight and protect your woman, children and Tribe, fair fights are for suckers.

Overwhelming force. Disproportionate force. And hit 'em from their blind side.

With a Chevy.

They will do it to you for your radical and extremist values, in front of a store. With no warning. In front of your woman and children. For no reason other than that you dare to deign yourself equal.

Do it to them firstest. Mostest. Hardest.

Stand up and be counted

UPDATE: Folks, David posted at TPN as well and the comments are worth reading and engaging. If you choose to go there and engage, I would ask you do so from Principle and with reason. There ARE natural allies for us in that crowd.

David is the mind behind the great Bank of America action that came out of the North Carolina PatCom.

He's put together an excellent post that covers the concept of Leadership and our broader goal of Liberty. He reminds us that only 56 men signed the Declaration of Independence.

Fifty-six men took point. They became Leaders by default, simply by doing what their own consciences demanded, then they stood up to be counted. For their acts they were hunted for execution, they were at risk of the King and their neighbors.

With your help we will very soon begin to craft a modern DoI that I insist must remain faithful to the intent of the original. I refuse to demand a new Government. I will demand that those in Government respect the Constitution.

I will travel this country over the summer and early fall seeking the signatures of Americans today who seek Liberty, Americans who will dare risk their Lives, their Fortunes, their Sacred Honor. Then some of us will meet in November in Washington DC and deliver our demands.

I encourage you to think before you add your name to this declaration, folks.

The original signatories challenged a King who was an ocean away.

Our King, our Tyrants, are among us. They know who you are, where you are, what is important to you, and they will hurt you if they feel threatened. They may not challenge you directly. They may simply declare you an unfit parent and kidnap your children from school. They have many resources, and they are not afraid to use any of them.

It takes courage to walk to the home of your oppressor and hand him a declaration that demands he yield.

I'll be in Washington DC on the steps of the Capitol to deliver our Declaration in November. Join me if you wish, if you dare. The list on the right grows longer as days pass. The list in my email box is longer.

I will be there whether we have 56, 300, a million...or if I am forced to stand alone.

I will wear an empty holster.

My shirt, my sign and banners will declare that This is the last time I come unarmed.

I will have Liberty in my lifetime, or I will have it in my death.

Either way, I win.

One way or another, I will stand and be counted.

For those who need a reminder of the scope of power intended by our Founders & Framers to the Federal Congress, Kenny offers Article One Section Eight.

For folks who continue to insist that "...the Constitution failed us/the Constitution is a scam..." I'll only offer that I can no longer be bothered with such idiocy.

Men violated the boundaries. Men who disregarded the rules have brought us to this point. Such men are Traitors.

The rules for Football are merely words written on paper. The game only works when players remain true to the rules. When the rules are ignored, we no longer have football.

I have now broken down Constitution 101 for the 1st graders among us, and I feel soiled. If your brain needs analogies to modern sports to understand such fundamentals of the republic, I shudder.

Read Kenny's post. Any law, act, rule, regulation in violation of those listed are void and Treasonous acts.

Scout Rifle: Every Patriot needs one

I am a fan of the Scout Rifle concept as designed by Colonel Cooper.

Deacon Matson adds first-hand experience to the mix, here.

If a Patriot were relegated to only one longarm, it is hard to beat the Scout Rifle.

It is compact, especially with a 16"-20" barrel and folding stock. The bolt action is legendary for being robust and reliable. And whether put into action in an urban environment, the 'burbs, or more open country, a Scout Rifle chambered for the battle-proven .308 is hard to beat.



Here are three variations. Ruger weighs-in (above) as the budget champion, though I wish it had a pistol grip and folding stock. But all things considered, a Patriot could do far, far worse if he had to select a single rifle for battle.



I am very fond of the Steyr SSG 08, as I have written before. And the armorers at Steyr will fit the SSG 08 with a 16" barrel for the ultimate in compact profile. But at nearly $6 grand, it ain't cheap.

A new entrant is the FNH Ballista. Sweet.



Choose the arms you will rely upon to travel with you through Restoration with great consideration. You may not have access to spare parts. You may have to resupply ammo from the enemy, and .308 is plentiful. There are times you'll need a scope, and others when you'll need the speed of iron sights. The Scout Rifle is a brilliant concept.

Use the same careful consideration when choosing your sidearms, your battle blades, your packs, your fire starters (you never know when you may need to burn something to the ground) and every other facet of the gear upon which your life will depend.

And remember the true reason for arms:

III Tour: Magazine

I've decided to produce a small magazine-quality booklet that we'll give away at gun shows, rather than a series of postcards. For instance, we considered a postcard for Mozart's Buy a Gun Day site. We considered another to promote our community blogs, another for IIIGear.com, et cetera.

Instead, we've decided to produce a small magazine that will include all of these topics and all of the other topics we want to get across to the gun show crowds.

If any of you have related businesses that would benefit from reaching the gun show crowd, let me know. We'll get you worked in. Just be sure you need national attention, because we'll be using the same magazines for all shows.

III: Warriors

UPDATE: Folks, here are the details for context of what I wrote below.

Jane Heller, wife of Dick Heller (of Heller v. DC) needed a kidney transplant.

Jim (Millerized) stepped up and courageously volunteered to offer a piece of his body for another human being. The testing proved to be a match, and right now Mrs. Heller is recovering splendidly with her new kidney that was donated to her by Jim, a genuinely benevolent Soul who is also a thoroughbred Patriot.

Only the strongest Souls are capable of such selfless kindness, especially for a person who is not family. It take courage to permit surgeons to take part of your body. Jim represents the best of us. He did not need to take the serious risks involved with this act. But his Soul is such that he could not simply stand aside in the face of circumstances in which he could make a difference.

When the Enemies of Liberty speak wickedly of us and our goals, you may let their hatred pass, for we know the truth of the caliber of people who stand with us.

Make no mistake, Jim can be a hard Patriot. Only the hardest, strongest Souls are capable of the greatest benevolence. When hard men take action based on Love of their fellow man, there is no more noble motivation.

When you look for people to have at your shoulder or to follow when the world gets ugly, you would do well to have this man at your shoulder. We are all better that he chooses to stand among us.

I am proud to be able to share this story with you.

True Warriors pursue their deadly skills and willingly place themselves in harm's way not for glory or gold, even for King or Country, but for Love.

I love my wife and will kill and die for her by reflex. There are family members I love. There are principles I love.

In Mercer at TL's Summit, an event he invested time, energy and treasure to make happen, I had the great privilege to meet several wonderful Patriots. Lewis. Sandman. Dan III. There are many others.

One Patriot I met and with whom I felt an immediate kinship is Millerized.

I had the privilege of sharing some time with him again this afternoon, and even met his wonderful mother. As a result of this time together, I was able to meet Dick Heller. There is a back story to this day that will warm the heart of every Patriot who is in this fight for Liberty for the purest reason: Love.

But sharing the details of this story is not my place. I suspect it will be shared in the proper time and venue. It is a story of the finest of humanity, of courage, of caring, of Love for fellow Man. It affirms that the strongest, hardest among us are those most capable of the greatest sacrifices, of facing the most grave dangers willingly, when lesser men will remain at bay.

I will say this: Millerized is a Patriot who has a selfless Love in his heart for his fellow man. Those who fight for Liberty out of Love for our Countrymen should be those we follow, those we aspire to emulate.

I am proud to know him.

In a conversation with Dick Heller that lasted perhaps 15 minutes, I met another serious Patriot. He supports our Liberty Congress in November and told me he'd be there with us.

Today was one of those days that filled me with confidence that Liberty will prevail, because so many of those who seek Liberty do so for Love: Love of Country, of Liberty, of Freedom, of Family, of Countrymen.

Thank you, Jim. Thank you to all of you who find yourself in this fight motivated by Love.

III: Cold Steel

OK Folks, I have the first batch of Cold Steel back from the engraver. I should say that I have a partial batch - I have all of the black blades. He still has the stainless blades (the folders, primarily). The engraving doesn't show up very prominently on the silver blades, so he is trying another method to see how it works out.

But, the Leathernecks, Tantos, tomahawks, shovels and other items are in my shop and will ship tomorrow.

Corey mentioned Tomahawks in Comments, so I have added these two images. I bought them to add to inventory, and they have both been branded already. The Trench Hawk (Fiberglas handle) is branded on the blade and the Spike Hawk (wood handle) is branded on the handle just below the head.

I like both pieces, but I would carry the Spike Hawk into an unknown situation if given the choice. The spike will serve very well to penetrate and it also serves the task of hooking limbs of Bad People.

Both are serious fighting tools.

Cold Steel offers several variations, check out their website and if you want something, let me know and I'll get you a price. I have two Trail Hawks as well, donated by great Patriots that will be featured in our Poster.

Personally, I consider a Tomahawk of some sort a required tool on an 72 Hour Go Bag.

III Gun Show Tour

Folks, we won't be in Kentucky this weekend as hoped.

The delays with getting Cold Steel & KA-BAR in our hands make it pointless to travel such a distance with nothing but our Condor and misc III patches/shirts/et cetera.

Once we get Cold Steel & KA-BAR orders in your hands, we'll have our own inventory for traveling. Remember that we'll need the Tour to at least cover expenses to keep it rolling, and our knives are a centerpiece of our Branded offerings.

Sorry to disappoint anyone who was hoping to hook-up with us in Kentucky. We will get back into that area before the election.

Restoring Liberty is easy: Simply make your Enemies leave...

A group of Jewish tourists were attacked and forced out of the town of Kerak, in Jordan recently, after a local store owner noticed them wearing religious clothing.

“Salem Jeradat – who owns a grocery in the town – was surprised Sunday afternoon by a delegation of Jewish men and women who were wearing the clothing of religious Jews, which led him to throw his shoes at them,” writes Al Jazeera.

It was after this that local residents escalated the attack, forcing the tourists to leave.

“‘Then the people of the town immediately approached the group, threw shoes and stones, and kicked them out of town,” Jeradat told Al Jazeera. “The people of Jordan do not accept the Jews entering their homeland, and the Araba Valley treaty between Jordan and the Zionist entity does not represent us,” he said....

There was a time in America when lawyers were banned from communities.

When Americans who love Liberty find the gumption to run the Enemies of Liberty from our communities, we will begin to heal.

Death Threats for Walker

Twitter exploded with death threats when Scott Walker won his election.

Reading the string listed showed a decidedly black demographic, though we know Walker's political enemies include Union folks. Would the union folks stoop to riling up the ghetto to unleash violence?

Nahhhhhhh.

As you read the comments prevent the knee-jerk reaction to call for police charges for death threats. Calling on the State to intercede is not what genuine advocates for Liberty would encourage.

Just understand what is being presented: The gulf between Tribes in America and the imminent destination.

Story 1: A mother is arrested for cheering her daughter at graduation.

Story 2: A popular graduate is denied his diploma, sentenced to community service and denied the ability to graduate in the ceremony for his class - because his friends cheered for him.

Just understand how many Enemies of Liberty are among us and must be removed from levers of power in our society.

As many of you know Mrs. Kerodin and I have a Federal suit in the courts against ServiceMagic for cyber-piracy, Service Mark infringement and other bad faith business practices, the results of which were financially eviscerating. Our case is in the early procedural stages, and we are eager to get into Discovery. (Our case also includes a ServiceMagic subsidiary Market Hardware and their CEO Brian Kraff)

Yesterday news broke that ServiceMagic has now been sued by Angie's List under the same Lanham Act for Trademark Infringement and other bad faith business practices.

Consider: Withdraw your consent

Passive resistance is premised upon the withdrawal of consent.

Sit down, refuse to produce and/or comply, and those who rely on your acquiescence and tax revenue will find their strength sapped.

Most folks tend to forget that a few men with clubs, flashbangs and small arms fire, making examples of a few, will often get the herd back to work.

So the second pincer of passive resistance is prudent, savage active resistance so the thugs think twice about mashing on folks who want peaceful change.

The active pincer requires hard Patriots who are willing to do Hard Things, who are willing to protect those who will not protect themselves.

Consider that for a while.

If you will not do Hard Things, who will?

Only a small percentage of Human Animals are capable of doing Hard Things while keeping their moral compass true.

Do Hard Things.
