Random...

I've had several good tidbits over the last few days, so I am just going to throw a few together in a random post.

The prayer above comes from Smith. I certainly can't argue with it.

A Tea Party Nation link from NC Renegade, discussing TL's recent post, here. Weigh in if the mood moves you. Remember, the III will always be the smallest faction on the field.

We have several Patriots out there Counting Coup. Are you?

Here's a link to a song - check it out.

ACLU is offerin an APP to covertly record interactions with LEO on your SmartPhones, here.

I don't offer much in the way of training on this blog. My specialties lie in CQB, and they don't translate well in blog-ville. But here is one I have not seen other blogs mention: Many Patriots will face, perhaps, a situation while driving when the reds & blues light up behind you at an inappropriate time.

Maybe you've been out counting coup. Maybe you were on a real piece of work. Maybe you are carrying and not in the mood to play. Maybe you are just not in the mood to be pulled over.

Most of you know the routine: Cruiser parks behind suspect vehicle and turns slightly so the front of the Cuiser can provide LEO with a barricade if needed. You may have a single LEO in the car. He may have a partner who comes up the passenger side, or hangs at the rear passenger bumper. Perhaps back-up is already en-route.

Have you trained these scenarios?

You'd better...

For Your Consideration

Revisited: Posted this originally last year. It is still timely.

The republic for which Betsy Ross created our first Stars & Stripes was a culture for us, the sons and daughters of Athens, Sparta, Rome, Jerusalem, London.

We are the sons and daughters of King Leonidas, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Plutarch, Pythagoras, Cicero, Christ and so many others who gave rise to the ideals and morality of our Founding Generation.

Our morals, ethics, values are different from every other culture on planet Earth.  We call them, loosely, Western Values.

Our values, those of Thomas Jefferson and many of us today who believe in Right and Wrong as evolved by our culture and Christian-based religions, are different from every other culture on Earth.

We, Americans, are different on fundamental cultural levels than every other people on Earth.

We are the last bastion of Liberty.

There is not one other nation on the planet that holds her Citizen's as the true power of Government, codified in their Constitution and recognized with innate Rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  No other country recognizes that it is the Right of the citizen by nature of his very existence to pray, speak, defend himself...even the "free" nations of the world beyond America contend that such Rights are granted by Government.

We, the sons and daughters of Greece, Rome, Jerusalem, do not look upon the world or one another as do the cultures of those from south of the Rio Grande, or Asia, or Africa, or Russia, and today we have less in common with the members of our tribe who occupy Western Europe.

We are different from them all, in our most fundamental view of life.

If you think this discussion is about the color of skin, you can not be more wrong.

This is about thousands of years of culture.

Our culture is different, and I contend better and more humane than any other culture on Earth.

When we permit large numbers of people from other cultures into our midst who choose not to adapt to our culture, but instead they insist that we adapt to theirs, we do irreparable injury to our people.  Tolerance is one thing, and willful self-destruction is another.

When we permit some of our own people (politicians, Banksters) to pander to the people of other cultures for selfish and greedy reasons, we do injury to our own.

One need not go to church on Sundays to hold dear the fundamental morality and ethics of Judeo-Christian culture.  As this is not about skin color, it is not about religion.

It is about culture.  It is about our culture's determination of Right versus Wrong.

If you cherish the culture that is ours, born in ancient Greece and brought to the shores of America, secured in writing by blood and oath by our Founding Generation, I would ask that you consider deeply the damage done to ourselves, our children, and our entire posterity, by embracing and tolerating other cultures that do not share our values, morality and goals.

The culture of Athens, Rome and Jerusalem lives today only within the boundaries of the united States of America.  And it is under relentless attack by other cultures in our midst as well as those who would enrich themselves by surrendering our most fundamental essence.

If you want the ideals embodied in our Founding Documents to survive, you'd better be preparing for the fight of your lives...and you'd better understand that only by absolute and complete ejection and decimation of those who seek to destroy our culture can we prevail.

If you want Liberty in your lifetime, you'd better identify the true Enemies of Liberty, and engage.

Now.

Independence Day & Simple Truths

For me the marking of Independence with our Declaration is a day to revere not only the Declaration, but the Constitution that followed. The Constitution set forth the republic. Now we see the wisdom of not setting forth a Democracy.

Every representative in the Continental Congress prior to the hot war, those men who we look to for having declared independence and call our Founders, were not single citizens standing in a hall and deciding the direction of the path ahead for themselves. It is important to remember that these men were genuine Representatives (unlike our modern sort), and each had hundreds or thousands of people back in their home districts who supported their moves toward independence.

The People had their backs. Not all people, to be sure. But more than you or I have backing our play. You'd better count on that fact.

We are not living in a Socialist nation. We are not enduring Communism, or Fascism.

Yes, we have Socialists and Communists and Fascists in elected offices, and they all strive to reach their ideological goals. But more importantly, we have many thousands of elected officials from all levels of Government who simply choose to put their own good (re-election and setting up post-office gigs) ahead of the good of their constituents. How do they keep getting elected?

Democracy.

Simple democracy has murdered the republic. One Man, One Vote. Majority rules.

Small 'd' democracy.

Mob Rule.

That is where we are today. And in that elected mix from coast to coast we have every political flavor of the rainbow in office. Most of them are simple me-first politicians. They are willing to ignore republicanism and embrace democracy (Mob Rule) as a means to being re-elected.

The dangerous side of democracy is best illustrated by Benjamin Franklin: Two wolves and a sheep voting to decide what is for dinner. Look to Egypt: Democracy was installed and the people of Egypt voted into power the Muslim Brotherhood.

Democracy is not fair, though anyone in the larger group will demand it is so.

Today we have citizens voting themselves goodies from the trough, and self-interested politicians obliging in return for a small piece of the action.

Today, America is a functional Democracy. But our legal foundation is that of a republic.

In your Independence Day travels this year consider the task before us: Return the republic by killing Democracy. It seems tough. It is tough. A Democracy is no less able to impose a police-state to protect itself than is any Fascist.

But our predicament could be much worse. The Police State is gelling, but it is not yet in place. And we have only a small step to travel along the political spectrum from democracy to republic. Worse will be trying to return to a republic from a Police State or a genuine shift in Government to genuine Fascism or Communism.

The work before us is hard. It is monumental in scope. It will be brutal upon the body and the Soul. There will be Hard Things between us and the republic.

But it could be worse. Much worse.

We do have the advantage that our ruling elite must still cling to the notion of the Constitution for their legitimacy. That is a powerful advantage for us. We also have the advantage that a very large percentage of the population still considers the Constitution as the bedrock of legitimacy, even if their understanding or definition of the document is corrupted.

Any successful fight for returning to a republic, which will return us to the highest state of Liberty realistically possible, will require the winner to keep the golden hue of the Constitution shining upon them, even if Bad People only want the illusion of Constitutionality.

Remember this weekend as you grind your teeth over ObamaCare and SCOTUS that we are here today because we (collectively, we who desire Liberty, all of us from 1789 to those still alive) failed to put in the effort to maintain the republic.

A republic, if you can keep it...

Every Framer knew, as did the people in the Colonies who ratified the new Constitution, that Federalism would forever be an encroaching Evil. They knew that if the People ever failed to beat the Beast back into its domain, the republic would fail...as it has today.

That is why they wrote in Impeachment and Treason. That is why they wrote in the Tenth. That is why they wrote the Ninth, which gives authorization for 2A as a maintenance procedure.

Keeping a republic is serous, hard work. No Citizen can ever rely on another Citizen to carry his weight in this matter.

You and I are responsible for ensuring that the people who want democracy are not permitted to kill the republic. And in the instance when we realize they have succeeded, it is your responsibility and mine to pick up the tools of Liberty and restore the republic. There are many tools: Impeachment, Treason, Tenth, Ninth, and the ultimate recourse as articulated in our Declaration and written into our Supreme Law of the Land, force of arms.

Yes, Patriots - the right to force of arms is written into our DoI and codified in the Constitution. If you don't see it, write me and I'll help connect the dots.

There is no Liberty in a democracy. There is Freedom only if you are in the majority, and majorities shift. There are only Tyrants.

If you genuinely want Liberty, it is time to pick up the tools of Constitutional maintenance.

I will be on the steps of the Capitol on November 3rd for my personal DoI moment.

After that...

We will be submitting a BIG Condor order tomorrow night so they can begin processing it on Thursday morning.

If you want anything, submit your order by 9pm EST July 4.

The drop leg holster pictured above is what I'll be wearing on November 3 at the American Liberty Congress (In OD Green). As I have mentioned before the weather on November 3 in DC may be snowing or 80 degrees. So I don't want a belt rig that may get covered by cool weather clothing.

All outstanding Condor orders have shipped (unless you ordered in the last 10 days or so). Let me know if any orders need to be adjusted when you receive them. Mistakes do happen, and I do make them right. So if you didn't get patches or the wrong size or any other mistake, let me know.

PJB on Roberts

Mister Buchanan takes a look into the motive of John Roberts and comes to a singular conclusion: John Roberts sold out to be liked by the Left.

If he is correct, then there is zero political gain in the decision for the future, for it telegraphs that if, indeed, the Court is ever offered a softball case to restrict the taxation power or the scope of General Welfare, the decision will be the same.

If he is correct, then every R Voter you meet who claims you must vote for Romney so that President Obama will denied the chance to add another Tyrany to SCOTUS, you can simply point to John Roberts, appointed by W.

Any slick political maneuvers aside, the Court is simply a part of the Federalist Machine.

If Mister Buchanan is correct and John Roberts did what he did for Vanity, it will stand as perhaps the most obvious, self-serving political act I have seen in my lifetime.

I have learned that when my view strays from that of Pat Buchanan, even if we agree on 90% of the issue, I need to check myself and examine my position on the remaining 10%. I usually mend my position after reflection, though not always.

If Mister Buchanan is correct, and John Roberts so brazenly and blatantly played to the power of Washington for a better station on the cocktail circuit, I may even have to revisit a few of my more fundamental positions.

Here's the column.

TL: Why us?

The Liberty Movement is being driven into a corner by both sides of the political structure: by the Democrats through open hostility toward the Constitution and by the Republicans for allowing it to go on unchallenged.

Why is it our burden? Perhaps we should rethink our objectives and our methods.

The Fate of Liberty on Earth resides in the hands of a very small group of Americans alive today.

If you wait for the Bad People to come to you, Liberty will die.

If you refuse to cross the lines of Misdemeanors & Felonies, Liberty will die.

If you refuse to put your ideals, gear and body to work, on your own, Liberty will die.

If you refuse to make your AO safe for Liberty, it is already dead.

Here's TL's piece.

Implosion or Count backward from 100...

I have held for nearly two years of writing that the world is filled with very clever, very motivated people who will work every day to push an economic collapse into the future for their own personal gain. That the economy is going to crash and burn is imminent, but when? And when it happens, will we simply lock up overnight and wake to a world in flames, or will we reach Implosion-level data points in our markets by sneaking up on them?

It is inarguable that today we are on an economic glide path that is in decline. But every time we hit a new milestone and feel that impact is close, smart, clever and self-motivated people find a way to push the date of impact into the future one more time. But even when they manage to pull it off, we continue on an overall downward slope.

Perhaps we are living in the collapse, right now? Perhaps clever and motivated people will find ways to keep us moving into the future at or near this level of performance. Maybe we never hit the wall in spectacular fashion, but "They" manage to keep us fighting for our economic lives while they milk every last dollar from our lives.

If they manage to do that even for another 10 years, can you guess how many of the Patriots in our community will be dead or beyond the ability to do anything physical?

Can't happen? Think about it. They already know you are willing to pay up to $4.50 per gallon for gasoline. They tested it. In 2001 I was paying about $1 per gallon at the same stations I use today, which is at about $3.50. You will not go 2A on anyone for $5 gasoline. You'll buy a smaller car/truck first, and they know it.

They already know you will pay $5 per gallon for milk. They already know you'll pay up to $8 or more for a pack of cigarettes that cost probably less than a buck to get to market. They already know you will give up 35% of your income to direct taxation, and more by hidden taxes that don't rub your nose in it. They already know you will pay X for Y without shooting anyone.

You are bleeding out right now. The curious thing about bleeding out and being choked out, you simply go to sleep...

When you want to get an idea of how much wealth remains in the American system that the Bad People could still tap to milk us dry, just look to Europe and the Socialist economies that are further along the death-path than are we. They are tapping every possible source of revenue, taxing everything, forcing regulations and rules on the populace that all generate more revenue for the state in the form of fees and taxes and renewals.

Two examples: France taxes every household for the television screens inside. They are now looking to see how they can tax computer screens. They are also requiring every driver to have a breathalyzer in every car.

How long before car makers are forced to install lockout functions and built-in breathalyzers if they want to sell to American markets. The technology in your car will not only stop you from driving, but could easily transmit your data to government databases, and even alert local LEO that you tried to drive while intoxicated. There's an easy fine.

How long before Government adds a $20 per unit tax on every television or computer screen sold in America, collected by the seller? Consider a new line item on your tax form, for renewal of your annual privilege of watching television. Don't pay? FedGov contacts the proper people and your cable goes down, your internet is shut off, your iPad or smartphone service locks up...until you pay.

Look at all of the things and activities in your life they could tax. Now, you may find a way to say FU, but you already know the vast majority of your Countrymen will pay the tax just to avoid bumping heads with FedGov and to keep their screens hot. Most Americans would go into violent withdrawl if suddenly locked out of the internet and cable television, and you know it. They'll pay.

America can be bled out for decades to come, if they play it right.

If they do it for another 20 years, you and I will be gone, or irrelevant. An entire new generation will not know any other reality than that of paying your TV & Internet Tax, and today's 30-somethings will simply shake their heads and moan about how much better it was in their youth. A few of them might even start III blogs to complain.

The window of opportunity is closing, folks.

Just count backward from one hundred, you'll be blissfully asleep soon...

Here's the link to French TV taxes and French breathalyzer requirements.

III: New Patch & Raffle (More pics added)

Order Status: We shipped a bunch of orders last week, through Friday and we have the final batch going out Monday. For anyone who ordered prior to last Wednesday or so, your orders are en route.

Friday we placed an order with our patch company, and we included the new patch pictured above. It is 4x2 w/velcro backing. It is OD & Black, matching our skull patch.

Two men in our Community have stepped up and offered outstanding donations as fundraisers for the III. Anyone who donates $20 or more through Labor Day weekend to receive the new shoulder patch above will be entered into the running for two separate gifts, below. Just so you understand: There will be 2 winners, one for the gift from Jim Miller and the second for John Mosby. You only need to enter once, and you have a chance to win each prize.

Gift One: Offered by Jim Miller (Millerized), this Mossberg 500 was finished a year or so ago and will be a wonderful piece for any collection, not to mention it's utilitarian value. Remember, Jim recently donated a kidney to a Patriot who needed it. Helping the Community is what he does. The shotgun remains in Jim's possession until the winner is known, then we'll arrange to have it shipped to your local FFL. It is a few years old, but has been shot very little, and the finish is nearly new.

Gift Two: John Mosby has offered two spots in an upcoming class. The second winner will receive 2 slots in an upcoming class offered by Mosby, so you may take your Significant Other or a buddy/Tribe Member. Travel expenses to the training site, lodging, supplies are all up to the winner. You'll be able to coordinate with John and decide which class on his schedule fits in everyones schedule.

My sincerest thanks to both John and Jim for offering such outstanding and useful gifts to help grow the III.

Go donate for a patch and get yourself entered, here!

SCOTUS: Fini

For the folks having a nutty over the most recent SCOTUS decision, especially those who are now proclaiming "The republic is officially dead..." or some variation thereof, take a breath.

We have all known for a long time we are on a course to a crater.

Forget ObamaCare for a moment.

Did you think Heller was a win for 2A and the Constitution? Yes, the case was "won" and Dick Heller is a serious champion for 2A Rights. But when you look at what the Justices wrote, you realize that every single one of them reads "...shall not be infringed..." as malleable. Same for McDonald.

Same for nearly every single decision since Marbury v. Madison.

Do you think the Law of the Sea Treaty or the Small Arms Treaty becomes "Law of the Land" if ratified by the Senate? Of course not! Only laws that do not offend the Constitution are "real" laws of the land.

They may pass it, and they may kill you for disobeying it, but that doesn't make it Constitutional.

Same for ObamaCare. Roberts position is flawed to permit taxation for any purpose other than those powers enumerated. Whether you see slick politics in other aspects of the decision or not (as I do), don't mistake any aspect of ObamaCare as Constitutional.

Remember what I said in this post 36 hours before Thursday: If you take the position that SCOTUS has the Authority to kill ObamaCare, then you take the position they have the Authority to impose it.

The men and women on the Court are not Constitutionalists.

Not even one of them.

We will not vote our way out of this: Correct.

Voting will forever be an essential part of recovering Liberty: Correct.

2A will forever be a part of Constitutional maintenance: Correct.

The present lawlessness and disrespect for the Constitution by SCOTUS, Congress and the Executive is beyond redemption: Correct.

The only fix is a reboot, a reset back to the last known point in our timeline when we had a shot at keeping Liberty: 1789.

Nothing done by FedGov matters today, folks. It has not mattered for many years. It has been lawless and corrupt in total since 1861. Subversion has been present since the Federalists retreated to the Judiciary after the Convention.

Getting excited over any act of FedGov is a waste of energy, time and resources.

Perhaps I should use the Sparklie of Death image for every post? I shouldn't need to do that - you should all know where we stand.

You. Will. See. RevWarIII. In. Your. Lifetime.

It will make RevWarII/Civil War look like a friendly picnic.

Don't get excited. Get ready.

Get in trouble with FedGov, get a better gig...

Remember Al Armendariz from EPA?

“It is kind of like how the Romans used to conquer the villages in the Mediterranean — they’d go into a little Turkish town somewhere and they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them. Then that town was really easy to manage for the next few years,” Armendariz said during a 2010 meeting in Texas.

I have mentioned many times how Bad People in Government rotate out to very cushy private sector gigs when they bounce out of the G-payscale?

This guy got snatched by Sierra Club.

Here's what Senator Inhofe had to snark about it: "At least at the Sierra Club he won't get into so much trouble for telling the truth that their true agenda is to kill oil, gas and coal...”

I promise you, this guy has a very nice salary and benefits package, and will continue his attacks on America from inside the machine.

That's so sweet! You do still care!

As I often do when a significant story pops, I stated my position on the SCOTUS decision, then I looked inward to the III to see where we were as a group.

On this blog and elsewhere in our Community many, many folks were outraged by the decision.

Why?

The overwhelming majority of those who blog and comment in our Community take the position that voting will not make a difference, government has failed, the republic is dead, the Constitution either rendered impotent by our current politics or impotent by some grand design.

So, why the passion in the Community? Why the heat? One who is truly separated from a thing will rarely react with passion, especially if you look at the SCOTUS action as do I: It is simply one more in our long train of abuses.

I gave Roberts props for what I consider to be slick political manuevers that will have an impact for many years to come...if we have years to come. But intellectually I know that no matter what SCOTUS did, nothing would change. No decision on Thursday could have staved off our imminent Implosion. No decision would make anyone begin to respect the Constitutional boundaries of power. I still think if SCOTUS had killed ObamaCare outright, the Obama Administration was fully prepared to ignore the Court and execute the law. I can hear the President now: How many divisions does Roberts have? He has taken his decision, now let's see him enforce it.

But you folks who reacted with such intensity revealed something to me that I do find genuinely heartening: Most of you are still fond of the Constitution and the ideal that it offers. You may say differently at times. You may deny it.

But your emotion reveals that you want the Constitution to be respected, and you find those who ignore it, injure it, scoff at it, to be repugnant.

I like that.

A man does not get jealous when an ex-girlfriend gets a new boyfriend, if he is truly over her.

You're not over the Constitution.

Own it, and stand tall. But more importantly, do those things that are within our Founding Principles and Ideals and framework to make the Constitution work again. Elect 535 people to Congress like Trainer, Bill Nye, CA, Brock, Kenny, Zoomie et cetera, and watch our Constitutionally restrained government begin to hum like a Ferrari. They would not appropriate any money for anything that is not Constitutional. They would repeal every law on the books that is offensive to Liberty.

Fixing our republic is as simple as that.

While we are waiting for Implosion, let's continue to get angry when people piss on our ideals and our Constitution. Afterall, they are treasonous bastards who are overthrowing Liberty for Tyranny. We should fight them on every single front of the polygonal battlespace.

Your heat and passion is a display that you have not yet completely abandoned the peaceful political process.

That makes me proud.

III. I am proud to be a III Patriot.

SCOTUS & III Gear

How does a proven Conservative Chief Justice land to the Left of Anthony Kennedy?

Intentionally.

When you noodle that through you'll begin to recognize just how significant yesterday was in the political world. John Roberts killed the Commerce Clause and Necessary & Proper Clause as Constitutional Authority and he tee'd up the ball for a challenge that will kill General Welfare and narrow the power to tax for only enumerated purposes, as Jefferson explained was proper. He's already reminded many Governors of the Tenth Amendment and he has forced the politicians to man-up and stop punting on the hard issues. Now the R's will have to do their jobs and Repeal, or not.

Roberts is genuinely working to kill 150+ years of bad Constitutional respect, and he can't do it all in a single vote. Why didn't he rule the tax in ObamaCare invalid and limit General Welfare in this Decision? I am not sure. I am told it was beyond the scope, that SCOTUS really needs a General Welfare challenge in order to go that far. We'll see. I think he could have done it cleanly right now.

But if you take the position that the Holder vote was a "Victory" and the SCOTUS ruling was a "Defeat", I'll let all of this marinate for a while so you can catch up. Start with this piece and just let your brain mull it over for a while.

Remember, SCOTUS only has as much real power as the other branches and the voters choose to permit. I hold their machinations have zero power over the Executive and Legislative, but both branches allow the facade to provide the illusion of Legitimacy.

Now, in a properly functioning FedGov, the Branches would respect one another and the boundaries of the Constitution. But we are not there.

TL has a piece on the topic, here.

Remember: None of this will change our course or speed to our imminent crater. Nothing SCOTUS could have done yesterday could change that trajectory. It is political theatre...and I enjoy clever, brutal politics as diversion when I know reality will intrude soon.

Anyway, on to something important: Almost all remaining III Gear orders will ship today or tomorrow (many shipped earlier this week). The only omission is shirts. As I explained earlier this week, I bombed the shirt printer with a substantial and complicated order, and they are working their way through it.

I'll have an announcement a little later this morning for a III raffle. We have several very cool raffles in the queue.

Roberts FU to Obama?

So, here is the skuttlebutt: John Roberts decided to protect the Court and get a little payback by ensuring Mitt Romney would be our next President.

How?

Let ObamaCare live, let the entire American voting public know it is a tax, energize the Conservative base of the R Party and the real Tea Party voting block to ensure the Enthusiasm Gap is closed by Mitt and not Obama. He handed the big, steaming pile of ObamaCare right back to the President so he could choke on it.

Pretty darned slick theory.

To accept it one would have to take the position that John Roberts was willing to use his position as no other Chief Justice has ever done before, to take out a sitting President, by any means necessary.

It would explain all of the quirks...
