What kind of America do we want...

The fundamental question of our time is What kind of Country do we want?

You have a choice this election between two visions for America...

How many times have you read or heard variations of those comments/questions in media and from politicians of all flavors.

The very premise of the concept is offensive to those who love Liberty, for it refuses to accept the fact that the question was asked and answered by our Founders and Framers.

Asked & answered, as an attorney would say.

Ours is a republic. It is not a democracy. It is not an oligarchy or monarchy.

Nor is it a question that can be legitimately raised by anyone who simply wishes to have his way at every election. For the individual or small group that wants something other than a republic that exists within the parameters established by the Constitution, buy a plane ticket and GTFO.

If enough of you get together and wish to secede on a state level, go for it.

But the individual or the minority that seek to displace our Constitutional charter and act upon that wish are guilty of injury to Liberty, and indeed guilty of Treason.

Democracy is not on the ballot. Ever. Socialism is not on the ballot. Ever.

For you folks who want Anarchy - not on the ballot.

Ours is a republic.

I don't know about the rest of you, but any system that offers less Liberty than our Constitution, when properly executed, is unacceptable.

Those who want any other system and take action to implement it are a direct threat to me, my family, and my posterity. I may defend myself against those people as Traitors.

Those people have options.

They may continue their course, and face the wrath of me and my kind.

They may sit down, STFU and stay within the boundaries of the Constitution.

They may GTFO.

Or, back to option one: They may face Americans who cherish Liberty and stand for their crimes against Liberty.

The hour nears when you, Patriot, must decide where you stand and what you will do.

That hour nears rapidly.

Knowing what we know about D's, I am confident they are building a database for future use.

You should be doing the same.

John Parker! Calling John Parker! You are needed on the Subway Platform!

There will come a time in the near future when the couple dancing on the train platform is packing and decides not to be arrested, or a nearby Patriot decides to end the arrest process in the name of Liberty with a muzzle blast.

Here is the story.

Justice is the responsibility of every Citizen

Just for the record: Whether you are a clerk in an office or a guide for the revenuer man, whether private sector or government, and part of your job entails the facilitation, in any manner, the work of the Enemies of Liberty, you are equally guilty. If you work in any capacity to aid, in any way, shape or form, the work of Tyrants, you are equally guilty. If you are the spouse of a Traitor and enjoy the fruits of his or her treason, you are equally guilty.

You are a combatant.

You have earned a place in the Target Matrix.

Whine to someone who gives a damn.

I do not.

You have been warned.

Here's an example of Citizenship from Rich T. After Action Assessment: They should've bonked the wife a bit harder.

Can't get there from here...

You believe abortion is murder.

You say your moral core is offended by the butchery of abortion.

You do nothing to stop the abortionist, because abortion is legal.

The State has legalized murder, so you let a moral outrage continue.

Yet...

You claim you will kill a Stack coming into your home to collect taxes.

Taxes are legal. The enforcer has the same protection of law as the abortionist.

So, you will kill the tax man, yet not the murderer of babies.

Interesting...

Mosby on Leadership

A leader must be courageous, committed, and candid. If you are preaching the sanctity of the Bill of Rights, but you are afraid to carry a weapon daily because you can't or won't get a concealed-carry permit, how committed are you? How courageous are you? How candid? If you refuse to verbalize your concerns about increasing tyranny because you're worried about UAVs overhead running surveillance, or that the "wrong" neighbor might overhear and rat you out because if the USA PATRIOT Act, how candid and committed are you?

DC Heat & Humidity today: Nucking Fasty

Holly and I were in town this afternoon for a little business a few blocks from the White House. I am a DC guy, born, raised, and lived most of my life in this area (except for a few years in Venice Beach to take advantage of the groundfighting skills offered in nearby Torrance, and a bit of Aiki & swordplay just a few miles from my place in Venice). I am used to DC's patented Hazy, Hot & Humid weather pattern that usually sets in around July 4th and breaks in early September.

But this is just plain yucky.

Anyway: We placed a big Condor order that they have already started processing.

They have the Model 163 sling packs available for public sale now, and I ordered a half dozen. This is a first class pack for use as a tactical Go Bag. It is sleek, low profile, sling pattern (which I prefer for my tactical bags) with loops for adding whatever you want on the outside. I set this particular Go Bag up for up to 72 hours of offensive or defensive tactical action, while living off enemy essentials - not for surviving a weather event or a power outage. I am including a full breakdown in our SHTF project.

If you want one or two (Holly's rig is identical to mine) get your order in at IIIGear.

Most outstanding orders are out of my shop and in the pipeline for delivery. My personal mail to the house & shop has been very unusual and spotty since the storms last week (big chunks of real estate still without power) and I think UPS and USPS were impacted pretty significantly. So give your package a few extra days to arrive.

I thank all of you for the support. As you know every dime goes into the 527, and as I have warned everyone, I am NOT running the 527 sales (Condor, KA-BAR, Cold Steel, US Palm, shirts) like a business. You can find the same items cheaper elsewhere, and you can get them delivered faster from other places. Thank you for understanding that fact and not breaking balls over waiting periods. I do want to get to the point where I can keep a few units of every item on my shelf so as soon as you order I can ship, but we are not there yet. Right now I have a few of our best selling KA-BARS, Condor Packs and Cold Steel blades, stickers, patches (I'm completely out of shirts, but the printer has the order) on the shelf, but certainly not every item.

By the way, I am wicked pleased with the engraving that was done on the KA-BARs, and all of our blades will be going there in the future. The work was done by a shop owned by a Patriot blogger (his son did the work), and I will post a proper endorsement in a few days, once all of you have rec'd your KA-BARs so you can see what I am talking about and you can weigh in. They do work on AR's, pistols, et cetera, and I can commend them without reservation. Every aspect of the process, from supplying them with an idea of what I wanted, to getting the work done, the professionalism of the finished product, and even the customer service aspects of getting them back to my shop was all first rate.

More later.

If you are looking to order Condor, here's the link.

IRS Boots & HealthCare

Already the tough talk and foolish rhetoric has begun in our community regarding the news that IRS will be hiring more Agents to enforce ObamaCare.

I hope you do not think they will send a Kill Team into your home for failing to surrender the proper remittance on April 15th to cover your nut. It is possible in the opening days they may make an arrest or two, or even burn down a house or two of those who squeal the loudest in protest. PR, don't ya know.

But as a practical matter, anyone who has ever seriously butted heads with IRS will tell you, they do not need to flash a badge, knock on your door, or clear leather to earn the capitulation of 99.9% of those who owe the tax.

You see, they will simply add it to withholding, making your employer the collector.

If they choose to make it a payment due on April 15th and you fail to remit, they will simply send a letter to your employer and tell him to hold all of your paychecks and send the money to IRS Central on your behalf. You'll be cut from the equation. Oh, you think you'll outwit them and simply get another job? Good luck. You'll be un-employable, with a check mark next to your name and all potential employers will know better than to deal with a person who makes trouble with IRS. Employers simply don't need the headache.

Oh, you'll finally open your own business and duck them? Good luck opening that business bank account. Good luck getting a Merchant Account to accept credit cards from your customers. Forget auto loans, college loans, or any other transaction on the grid, because most such transactions today already require you to provide tax returns for the last 3 years. Haven't filed? No candy for you.

Folks, the Revenuer Man doesn't need to risk walking up into the holler anymore.

Your boss will not stand with you against IRS.

Pay attention, folks. They do not need to pat you down to empty your pockets and deny you access to society to earn a living. They'll simply let you starve to death as an example. You'll be an untouchable.

Please do not rant and rave about how they'd better pack a lunch if they want your money. Please don't wail and rail about how you will never obey and how you will take a dozen with you.

Perhaps when you write it may be more beneficial to consider the writings of our Founders, who did not write or speak of Kill 'em all & let God sort 'em out avenues of redress, essentially until the fighting had already begun. You will remember that Patrick Henry did not give his Liberty or Death speech until blood had been spilled.

They did not puff. They did not offer hollow rhetoric. They really didn't offer much in the way of threats and bravado, until they had begun slitting throats.

A dog that barks too often reveals his fear. The dangerous ones rarely bark more than once...

Here's an IRS story.

Treaded: Motivator - A Little Dose Of Reality For The Naysayers

What is coming to America is bad.

How bad? Who knows. If one were able to answer that question accurately beyond best guesses, one would be able to buy winning lottery numbers routinely.

But "Bad" is probably to be measured in shades of grey, mostly defined as a change from what you have known. Humans don't really like change once they have a comfort zone. So "Bad" can simply be defined as "Change".

I am betting on ugly financial times, a political reset, and general yuckyness. Yes, "general yuckyness" is a technical term.

I have zero anticipation of Mad Max. I have zero expectation for long-term grid collapse (Too many self-motivated people will do what it takes to keep an economy rolling).

Major metro areas will become yucky squared.

Major metro suburbs will be where class warfare becomes real, complete with hunting parties for defense and plundering parties from the city on offense. (Then, eventually, hunting parties going into cities to eradicate the threat).

Government will not go away. Even if there is a complete collapse of FedGov (not my guess) you will have local government of some form, even if it is only the strongest Tribe becoming your local Warlord. Whether benevolent or malevolent, a Warlord is a Warlord.

The folks living beyond easy travel distance from the 'burbs will have potential raiding parties once in a while, though I suspect your biggest threat to survival will be an interruption of steady food and medical supply chains. You'll be completely on your own from time to time.

We'll work out our political differences one way or another, then things will begin to work again, in some form or fashion. How's that for a precise prediction?

Regardless of where you and I part ways on predictions, the important thing is to prepare for a level or two worse than you realistically expect. A family with 90 days of food, water and fuel, and the means to defend those assets, is exponentially better prepared than 99% of your Countrymen.

The level of wealth in America is truly beyond comprehension. America simply can't "go broke" in our lifetime. The value of the dollar may implode, but that is not the definition of "broke" for a man who has meat grazing in the fields around his home, or the means to go and get that meat.

I constantly talk about "taking action" on this site. Please do not be caught flat-footed. "I'll do it tomorrow" is not the best plan. Defend yourself now by making sure you have the means to avoid hungry, scared crowds. Even if you live in the city or 'burbs, the less you must leave the nest to hunt & gather, the better your odds of making it through opening day.

Here's a piece from Treaded on the topic.

The time nears to STFU and Do It!

In DC at the Liberty Congress we will discuss the mechanics of recovering Liberty in America, and restoring the republic. No fancy gimmicks. No cloak & dagger BS that amounts to little more than boys playing with one another in fantasyland.

Forget all the complex schemes and 4GW elaborate silliness. We have not the time, the resources or the infrastructure to play Dungeons & Dragons in this fight for Liberty.

When the time comes to do a thing, you simply do it. When the time comes to kill a thing, you just man up, walk to the thing, and kill it.

Enough of this pandemic of circle-jerking.

Count how many times you read in media that we are a democracy, and how often you hear politicians from boths sides of the aisle proclaim this and that about our democracy. How many children in school are taught about our democracy? How often is this fallacy re-inforced by Enemies of Liberty seeking to make the lie concrete in the minds of the masses.

Democracy is good.

Every man gets his say!

You and I know it is nothing but Mob Rule. And no matter how often you politely correct people who refer to America as a democracy to the fact that we are supposed to be following the model of a republic, nothing will change in their minds. First, they will think you are incorrect, because everyone else says it is a democracy. Second, they will not want to believe you. Afterall, in a republic their voice, in their mind, will not count. People tend to strongly avoid that which they do not understand, and you know as well as do I that 95% of Americans are unable to articulate the difference between a democracy and a republic.

For you folks who advocate winning hearts and minds by educating people - bless you. But be realistic. If every Patriot were able to convert even 1 person each day, there are millions of children and college kids being educated far more effectively every single day in the re-education facilities called schools and colleges.

If you want Liberty there are Hard Things in your future. You will be labeled a criminal, a terrorist, extremist, and in fact you will be a breaker of many laws.

If you want Liberty there is only one answer, because the people who do not want Liberty outnumber you, have put in place laws and machinations of Government and society to prevent you from reaching your goal.

If you want Liberty you will band together with like-minded people and force the people who do not want Liberty to leave, just as did our Founding Generation.

Every war is about purging and/or subjugating people who disagree. There is nothing complex about the root motives in war. You want X and they want Y. When talking breaks down, one side opts to submit, or pick up weapons.

If you want Liberty, talking is over. The problem is that the Enemies of Liberty do not fear you, do not respect you, do not think you are any impediment to their goals.

And they may not be wrong.

Consider this recent post: Independence Day & Simple Truths

This from Curtis, here.

This from CDP, here.

This from NCRenegade, here.

You have a decision to take: Will you submit, even if you mask your submission in tough rhetoric? Will you counsel your children to go with the flow so they can have some chance at getting through their lives without a boot on their necks?

If you take the decision to follow our Founding Generation and evict the Enemies of Liberty, the window of opportunity is closing.

Sacred Cows & Gunwalker

Every now and again I like to throw out a tidbit of reality that challenges readers to actually engage in intellectual honesty.

When it comes to the Sacred Cow that is GunWalker, I am never disappointed when my faith that people only see what they want to see is validated. Bill Nye and I have set forth fact after fact that proves GunWalker is not what you have been told. But I have found a tremendous ability for folks to never let facts get in the way of a good hate.

Here's another, just for fun. I don't care if you get all puffy-faced, suck wind, leave and never return (the door is right over there), or otherwise take issue with this reality. I'd rather have three readers who use their brains and have the balls to be intellectually honest, no matter the cost, than 10,000 readers who excel at being non-thinking sycophants. Non-thinkers are walking dead men the moment the world goes hot.

Save your righteous indignation for one dead FedGov LEO and a few (hundred) dead Mexicans. That theatre grows tedious. If you cared as much as you wail, you'd send money to the families of the dead, and you'd have already left the porch.

The cover-up is always more politically damaging than is the crime. I've already covered that aspect of GunWalker - There will be no political loss for any elected or appointed figure in GunWalker, ever. Even when/if anyone leaves Government Service regarding GunWalker, they'll land in the private sector in a very sweet gig.

OK, here's the Inconvenient Fact for today: Katherine Eban at Fortune wrote a piece titled "The Truth about F&F". It was universally slammed by anyone with a vested interest in finding a mass conspiracy at the root of GunWalker.

Here is one very important, indeed the singlemost important tidbit yet revealed about GunWalker for anyone who values Truth above political games: It was the first time Voth learned that Dodson intended to walk guns. Voth says he refused to approve the plan and instead consulted his supervisor, who asked for a proposal from Dodson in writing. Dodson then drafted one, which Voth forwarded to his supervisor, who approved it on May 28.

Dodson is the guy who proposed, and then permitted guns to walk.

Here's a bit more: On June 1, Dodson used $2,500 in ATF funds to purchase six AK Draco pistols from local gun dealers, and gave these to Fernandez, who reimbursed him and gave him $700 for his efforts. Two days later, according to case records, Dodson—who would later testify that in his previous experience, "if even one [gun] got away from us, nobody went home until we found it"—left on a scheduled vacation without interdicting the guns. That day, Voth wrote to remind him that money collected as evidence needed to be vouchered within five days. Dodson e-mailed back, his sarcasm fully restored: "Do the orders define a 'day'? Is it; a calendar day? A business day or work day….? An Earth day (because a day on Venus takes 243 Earth days which would mean that I have plenty of time)?"

The guns were never recovered, the case was later closed, and Fernandez was never charged. By any definition, it was gun walking of the most egregious sort: a government agent using taxpayer money to deliver guns to bad guys and then failing to intercept them.

The Op blew public and Dodson looked for a way out. He, more than anyone else, was politically (and probably criminally) on the hook for a dead Border Patrol Agent.

Get it? Dodson had beef with his direct supervisor who would not let guns walk. Dodson went over his head. Dodson got approval to let them walk. Dodson let them walk. Then, when SHTF Dodson looked for a way to control the crash of the operation to shift blame from himself to others. That's when Dodson sought his Useful Idiot to carry the story from CleanUpATF. He found that Idiot.

It was a Dodson Op.

Many people who want GunWalker to succeed as a story about corruption to the highest levels of Government have called the Katherine Eban piece a Hit Piece.

Yet, not one single person has disputed the assertion that it was Dodson who first proposed, then ran the gun walking aspect of the Op. Not one. Not Grassley in his rebuttal. Not Issa. Not even Dodson's attorney. Not the Useful Idiot.

Now keep in mind that every single person working at ATF chose a career to infringe your 2A. We usually call those guys Enemies of Liberty.

Most of us do.

Not all.

"John Dodson, I salute you, sir." Remember that?

Some of us do. Some of us have been able to connect all of the dots. Some of us knew what this was even before the details started floating out and being twisted for political and personal gain.

And just to finish off that foul taste in your mouth, you do understand that John Dodson, right now, still accepts your tax dollars to infringe your 2A as an active duty ATF Agent. And many of the key players in this contrived Sparklie still call for ATF to remain in existence.

Examine what you think you know. Examine decisions you may have taken based on information offered by people with an agenda. Don't be afraid to admit to yourself that you strayed from intellectual honesty and into the dangerous realm of political gamesmanship.

Most importantly, think for yourself based on the facts, not what you want the facts to be. One Useful Idiot in your Tribe feeding you bad intel upon which you act will get you all dead.

Knife Fighting

Many folks in our community have little more than an academic relationship with the reality of death fights. That is not an indictment, simply a fact. Most people have jobs and hobbies that do not involve CQB, getting wet with a blade or putting mushrooming wounds in people from firearms. Punching holes in paper or dinging steel with your favorite bottomfeeder has zero in common with what happens when the target shoots back. The relationship you have with your new fighting blade will change if you ever have to use it to open more than a can of peaches.

Here is a simple truth I have shared before: In a real fight everyone gets hit. Even the winner will get dinged up. In a knife fight, even the winner will get cut. In a knife fight, even the winner has a good chance of dying.

Should you pull your knife just because he has a knife? Not necessarily. But for the purpose of this post, we'll assume you choose to keep both of your hands empty. In my world a knife is an offensive weapon, with very minimal defensive utility. I usually prefer to have both hands empty when handling a knife attack. But, that's me.

In a knife fight:

- Run away if possible
- Hit 'em with the nose of your Chevy at a high rate of speed, if possible
- Shoot him, if possible
- Have one of your sneaky Tribe members shoot him in the back

If our four preferred resolution methods aren't going to happen, then suck it up and prepare to kill.

To kill - not to defend. Not to get the knife. Not to avoid getting cut.

You have one simple focus: Kill him.

I do not care how f'n good you are, how big, or fast you are. I do not care how small he or she may be. You are going to get cut in a real knife fight.

Here's where most "Knife fighting instructors" screw you up: They will teach you that there are different techniques for fighting against a knife. That is, essentially, bunk. It will help him sell knife fighting DVD's, but it'll get you dead in the real world.

Yes, you need to be peripherally cognizant at all times where the knife is - left hand, right hand, high, low, et cetera. But the man plunging a knife at your chest is handled exactly as would be the man thrusting an empty fist at your chest. You treat him as if he is unarmed. Your technique (if you have been well-trained) is the same:

- Control the wrist or elbow (or deflect at the wrist or elbow)
- Get off the line of attack
- Counter strike with everything you've got into the softest, most vulnerable spot you can find on him

If you miss your opening, remain calm. He'll either come at you again or quit his attack.

The same holds true whether the weapon is a brick, an ax, a bat, a machete, or a pair of kittens he's using as nunchaku. The only variable is range - keep yourself out of range of the weapon and force him to close the gap to strike. You focus on the man, not the weapon. You defeat the man, not the weapon. You kill the man, and give his weapon to someone in your Tribe.

A medic is an essential part of your Tribe. You'll need the medic or the grave digger when this is over.

That's simply reality.

It is what it is.

Here's a link to a woman who is undergoing her first blade training.

The Constitution Failed!

In a discussion with Jim in a below thread the dialogue inevitably returned to a commonly heard complaint issued by many people to the political Right of the real Tea Party: The Constitution failed. Why would we repeat that mistake?

Now, to be fair, not everyone who dislikes the Constitution takes this position, that it failed.

This brief post is for all of you who do claim the Constitution failed.

This is the last time I can bother to deal with the topic, or the people who spew such silliness.

By your logic:

The handgun in the bedside table failed the man who is forced to listen to his wife in another room being raped by Bad People. The gun failed. Forget the fact that the man never put the handgun in his hand and used it. The pistol failed.

For you religious folks who bash the Constitution as a failure: By your logic the Bible is a failure because the man cheats on his wife or endorses abortion. That awful book! And look, that same man gambles and pokes barnyard animals, too! That horrid, silly compilation of pages that is displayed in our family room is an abject FAILURE!

By your logic, you stand with the Atheists and the Brady folks. Let's throw away all bibles and handguns! They failed us! They are useless constructs that FAILED US!!

If you do not understand how silly, foolish, and outside common sense reality your argument is, I simply can't be bothered to engage with you further.

I do not care if you don't like the Constitution. This site is not merely for Constitutionalists. But it is a place reserved for a minimum level of competency.

If you take the position that a piece of paper has failed, if you are one of those people in the I don't like the Constitution crowd, keep walking by this blog. I can't be bothered.
