Some folks are spending far more energy on this matter than is practical.
Fact: Only the President may sign a Treaty (At this moment the skuttlebutt is that Hillary will sign as a political signal)
Fact: The Senate must approve by 2/3 majority - and they do not have 67 votes for this treaty.
Fact: Even if the President signed and the Senate ratified, it is null and void because no treaty may trump fundamental Constitutional Rights.
This treaty has no more Constitutional validity than any other law passed in America that infringes 2A.
They only have the Power and Authority you permit them.
They may imprison or kill you for your disobedience, but they'll never have moral right on their side.
Of course, if Americans respect the law even if it is unconstitutional, then it doesn't much matter. Until Americans refuse to respect unconstitutional laws, the chains will grow tighter.
