Let's talk about supporting Liberty...

 

OH MY GOODNESS - A walled community in California!!!  The HORROR!  Hellfire's at the ready!

In posts below I recounted that roughly 1/3 of Colonists in America supported the III Patriots in the field.  But the reality is that of that 1/3 of the populace who "supported" yet chose to permit others stand in Harm's Way, let soldiers and militiamen freeze and starve in Valley Forge and all over the Colonies as they continued to conduct business, grow crops, make boots, et cetera. 

The men in the field had moral support, when they needed chickens and boots and powder and the other necessities of fighting tyranny and birthing a nation into a republic premised upon Liberty of the individual.  That 1/3 of supporters had very few people in their ranks who suffered hardships to feed the men fighting and killing and dying for them.

Also noted below is the fact that our modern III have a much smaller base of supporters who will help feed, clothe, hide and arm the Patriots who pick up a rifle, when the time comes.

Yet in our ranks of supporters today, we have men and women who know their history as well as you and I.  They know of the hardships at Valley Forge, and they have decided that they will not send others into Harm's Way without real, tangible support.  They know they can help in their own way.  They intend to fight for Liberty just as hard as any man with a rifle in his hands, even if that fighting is to be found by making certain the fighters have boots, and chicken to eat, vegetables, ammo, safe houses, intel from local sources, and in the case of WiscoDave - armor plate to protect your vital organs against enemy rifle fire.

Americans who identify with our original III Patriots are a proud and individualist people.

If you intend to go into Harm's Way and this modern American thievery system/economy has prevented you from getting all the gear you need, and your knee-jerk reaction is to decline an offer from a fellow Patriot who offers you food, boots, ammo, a better rifle, or body armor, instead of letting your pride answer, consider: You have a Patriot who wants to help win Liberty.  He knows YOU will be going into Harm's Way, into peril, to fight for the principles you and he share.  He wants to help you live and prevail - because if you live and prevail, he benefits as well.

If you deny the offer - you have denied a Patriot the ability to contribute to Liberty.

That is selfish of you.

This fight for Liberty is bigger than any single person.  Set aside whatever pride may be leading you to reject what you need to fight better and safer, and be big enough to let another Patriot help you.  Isn't this EXACTLY what we are all bitching about - that the Community is fragmented, too many are "Every man for himself..."?

In this specific case of plate for your carriers, ask yourself how many people at Valley Forge would have appreciated the people and merchants of Philadelphia showing up at camp with a few wagons of food, blankets, and such.  Do not allow some mis-guided sense of pride minimize the suffering endured by those men at Valley Forge.  You owe those men a victory today, because they provided a victory long ago that brought Liberty into the world.  Your responsibility is to keep that Liberty, by any means necessary.

Let others help you as they are able.  To decline that help is an insult to a Patriot.

Cold Steel Spike

I received a pair of Cold Steel "Spike" blades, of course with tanto point.  They have a 4" blade, full tang and a narrow grip that fits small hands excellently, and also is well designed to keep your grip in place if the handle should mysteriously get bloody.

The size comparison between this blade and a Cold Steel folder with the same blade length is significant.  They come with a well-designed kydex sheath and length of chain so you can wear it as a neck knife.  I'll play with them for the next week or two, then give you a review.

They had almost III percent, too...

**NOTE**  This is not a call to arms - it is analysis.  It is intended to help Patriots get a real, quantifiable concept of what stands opposed to "Victory".  There remain political options on the table prior to 2A remedies, such as the Citadel, such as Local, Local, Local building of Teams that show the opposition that the rattlesnake is making her rattle sing.  By the same token, as I have stated just below, there's going to be a fight.  The Leftists among us will not simply stop oppressing - that's not in their DNA.  So, take this piece as analysis and a call to get all III looking at the same goal, the same Battle Cry, the same definition of "Victory", when the final political option has expired and the Enemies of Liberty begin openly hunting the "Rebels" of the day...

We all know that the III represents the men who picked up rifles and actively fought in the Revolutionary War against the British.  I just did a bit of quick arithmetic and found that the British were aided by about 2% of Loyalists, who mostly fought in the mid-Atlantic and southern Colonies.  That's 2% of neighbors and family members, in addition to the 56,000 British Army Regulars and 170,000+ sailors, 13,000 "Native" American Indians, and of course, the Hessians (about 30,000).

With a population estimated at 2.5 millions in 1776, about III Percent of Patriots fought against what equaled a hair under 400,000 under British arms, or about 16% of the population.  Both sides had roughly equal support from the population in the Colonies that did not actively fight, according to most Historians.  (Please let's not pick nits over the numbers, these are all ballpark numbers put together by many Historians who may differ here or there.)

On paper, the "Rebels" should have been crushed.

Why did they win?  Why did a smaller, less-trained, less-equipped force win when outnumbered about 8:1?

Many people have many differing viewpoints.

My answer: The "Rebels" - the "Patriots" - simply wanted it more.

They put it all on the line - if they lost, they would die.  They had more skin in the game.

Do you ever wonder why the hare often escapes the fox?  It is because the fox is running for his dinner - the hare is running for his life.

On paper today, any counter-revolution at arms should lead to the utter, absolute destruction of all "Rebels".  At a population of roughly 315 millions, to get our own 3% we'd need about 9.5 millions to pick up rifles and hunt "Regulars".  My gut says we have nowhere near that number today.  One of our bloggers figures our real number is about 3% of 3% - and I can't find any evidence to say he's wrong.  So if we count on 3% of 9.5 millions to pick up rifles and hold the line for Liberty, we're looking at 285,000 men at arms who will leave the porch.  Let's just round that up to 300,000 Patriots so we don't slit our wrists right now.

Also out of sync today versus the Revolutionary period is that while our original III had roughly 1/3 of the country supporting them, we know by simply looking at voting results that we can expect 90% or more Americans today to oppose Patriots who believe in Rightful Liberty (you know - Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are ALL supported by EVERY member of Congress...).  In addition, we can expect at least 2% of our neighbors and family members (not including .Gov forces) to pick up rifles and actively hunt Patriots, just as they did in the Revolution - and today that is just about 6.3 millions - and many of those folks are also veterans with training, former LEO, and generally able-bodied combatants.

So, for the sake of argument, we have 300,000 Patriots today who will defend the Liberty beneath their feet.

We can expect 90% or more of the population to be opposed to our goals, 6.3 millions of our general population to hunt Patriots, there are about 800,000 badges and guns and most of them will stand against Americans.  I won't consider military intervention, I have no reliable way to estimate how many may or may not participate. 

300,000 Patriots versus more than 7,000,000 armed "Loyalists".

How are you liking those odds?

On paper, we are toast.  Liberty is dead. 

Yet - when I met Jake, Chuck, Richard and others yesterday, I remain convinced we can win.  Liberty can survive.  Liberty can even prevail.  Any one of those Patriots is worth ten armed SEIU thugs...because they want it more.  They want Liberty for their children more than SEIU thugs want to risk death for a pension.

The key is that when it is Go Time, we Go, and we go all-in.  Lives, Fortunes, and Sacred Honor.

We have to remember that during the Revolution, this quote from wiki: By July 4, 1776 the Patriots had gained control of virtually all territory in the 13 colonies, and expelled all royal officials. No one who openly proclaimed their loyalty to the Crown was allowed to remain, so for the moment, Loyalists fled or kept quiet. Some of those who remained later gave aid to invading British armies or joined uniformed Loyalist regiments.

If we intend to win, we all need to be on the same page.  We all need to understand the path to Victory.  We all need to move as one, with singular intent and ruthless efficiency.

Are you ready to tell your Leftist PTA to shut up or prepare for impact?

Are you prepared to rid your neighborhood of that 90% who oppose Liberty?

Are you prepared to stand tall in a fight that has you outnumbered by at least 23:1?

Do you physically have the preps to accomplish the above?

Do you mentally have the ability to flip that switch in your heart and mind to hunt tyranny?

On paper, you, I and Liberty are dead.  We are told by all logic, common sense and enemies that we can't win.

I do not believe in no-win scenarios.

III CQB: Los Angeles

We met yesterday in Mile Square Park near Long Beach and trained in the beautiful Southern California weather, in the shade of trees and the company of Patriots.

BonnieGadsden took point on gathering his Tribe and others in the area to make this happen, and he did a great job.  Not only did he do the administrative aspect of herding cats (that's us, Patriots!) he has also done a great job of surrounding himself with damned fine people who can be trusted to show up when help is needed.  A couple of folks not in BG's immediate Tribe attended as well, and I suspect the entire group has grown and will keep in touch.

Several Founders were in attendance, one to observe.  It is always humbling to meet our Founders and the supporters of not only the III Projects we have going, but also men and women who are true Patriots.  I thank you all.  In only our second CQB class, combined with my experience at King's Mountain, at Brock's spring PatCon, at Mercer when TL hosted a gathering, I am absolutely convinced that if we all carry a simple message in our hearts on a nationwide basis, and we work our tails off "Local, Local, Local", while taking every opportunity that presents itself to meet one another, even over great distances, the III can preserve Liberty.  I am convinced the numbers are there.  Liberty doesn't need overwhelming forces on Her side, She only needs a small, hardcore, relentless, unyielding corps of Patriots who refuse to bend knee.  Just like the first time...

And I am meeting such Patriots across the country.

Yesterday I had the great Honor of sharing a small bit of my skillset with such Patriots in the heart of one of the most liberal strongholds in America.  We learned how to get Bad People off our wrists, off our backs (literally), how to break them in multiple places in various ways, and most importantly, how to buy 1-3 priceless seconds in a sudden conflict so the Patriot can fight to his weapon, deploy it, and decide the fate of the conflict. 

By the end of the day a young lass was earning arm locks on a very strong man, and I watched as she intended to defend with one technique, only to find it denied to her, and she instinctively and fluidly evolved to another technique from earlier in class, to get that arm lock.  There were several natural fighters in class, people with good instincts, able to see openings and opportunities when they presented. 

And, I believe to a man (and young Lady) the biggest mental concern was "...taking the decision to actually use these skills will be the hardest part in a conflict..."  They are all correct, and sadly that is a switch that no trainer can ever flip for another Human Being.  The gun shop can sell you the rifle and ammo.  A good teacher can teach you to hit your target with that rifle.  But if you refuse to pull the trigger when the Bad People present themselves, the Bad People will win without a fight.  I wish I knew how to help good people get over that innate mental barrier of breaking/hurting people when the moment demands it, and not waiting until the other guy gains the advantage.  Good People DO NOT WANT to hurt anyone.  They DO NOT WANT to have to choke someone out, or separate head from spine, or bend that guy's elbow or knee 45 degrees the wrong direction.

To every Good Person reading my words today, harden your hearts.  The only rationalization I can offer to help you with that philosophical dilemma is this: If you fail to stop the Bad People coming at you, they will decide what happens to your possessions, your spouse, your children.  If you hesitate to break Bad People for yourself, break them for all the people you love who will be at the mercy of those Bad People if you lose.

Holly and I met allies and even a few friends yesterday.  We met people who, if they call, we will come.  This also happened recently in Illinois.  This happened at King's Mountain.  This happened in North Carolina at Brock's spring PatCon.  This happened at Mercer.  This can happen for you, too, if you decide to go to a Patriot event and shake hands with like-minded people, look into their eyes, break bread together. 

If you haven't made it out of your home to meet fellow III Patriots yet, do it.

Brock has announced that he will be hosting another PatCon in North Carolina in early October.  If you live east of the Mississippi, I would suggest to every Patriot reading here today, try to find a way to be there and meet your Countrymen.  If you live further out, the journey will still be worth the effort.

To the people Holly and I met yesterday in L.A. - we are better for having met you all.

There's going to be a fight...deal with it.

Virginia ABC LEO (Alcohol Beverage Control) clear leather and swarm on a few young women in a parking lot with so much professionalism, even the 911 dispatcher tells the girls in the car to hit the gas and get out of Dodge.  Once the 911 dispatcher gets confirmation that the ABC cops were actual LEO (a joke on many levels) the dispatcher advises the girls to stop.  Their crime?  Buying bottled water and cookie dough.  The ABC LEO try to say the girls attempted to run them down - but then dropped all charges.  Here's the story.

In Henderson Nevada (I once attended an Ann Coulter event in Henderson, just down the road from Harry Reid's hometown) the LEO there kicked in the door of a home and jacked the occupants so "...they could gain a tactical advantage on the neighbor, whom they intended to arrest..."  That's a Third Amendment violation, folks.  I mentioned more than a year ago 3A was the last on the list, and our Police State would violate it in due course.  Here's the story and discussion at CA's place.

I've been asked many times why I don't give day-by-day analysis on this long train of abuses. 

First: Other people are doing a darned good job of it.

Second: The day-by-day abuses are merely the symptoms of the Cancer in America, a Cancer caused by the Parasites among us.  A doctor may tell me that my metaphors are askew - I don't think parasites can really cause cancer - but the end result is the same, no?  Dead patient.

To quote Concerned American:  There's going to be a fight.  Let's win.
I add very little to the fight for Restoration by giving you all my 2 cents on day-by-day stories.

I hope the efforts I am making DO have a positive effect - time will tell.

Here's my advice - take what works for you, ignore the rest.

Be aware of what is happening day-to-day - that's called situational awareness.  But keep prepping, keep cache building, keep working on your skills taught by Mosby, Max, SFMedic, Mason Dixon and elsewhere.  Get your DAILY Krav training in.  Shoot some of that ammo in your safe, and replenish it, even at the prices you have to pay.  Stay proficient, for proficiency leads to efficiency.

Most importantly, fix this in your mind: There is going to be a fight.

It will be bloody.  It will be a deathfight.  Innocents will be hurt.

Liberty or Tyranny will prevail - there will be no middle.

THERE ARE NO RULES.

There is no avoiding that outcome.  Even if you bend knee to avoid a fight, you will merely be eaten later in the cycle of violence.  Turn your mind ON - in Cooper parlance, get your head OUT of Yellow and into ORANGE.  Be ready to go RED at any flippin' moment.

Mosby, et al can't teach you this any more than can I in a CQB course - when to go to RED.  When to reach out and break someone.  That switch is in YOUR mind and heart.  Mother Nature will flip that switch for every mother on the planet when her babies are threatened - but Mother Nature will often leave that switch under YOUR control when it is YOU under threat.  Do what you must do to be ready to go hard when the time comes.  And when the time comes, GO HARD and sweep your front porch, and trust we will do the same.

Breathe in the resignation and sadness.  Accept it.  Let it piss you the fuck off.

There is going to be a fight.

Bad People DEMAND that there will be a fight.  They won't let us alone.  They won't go away.  They will never stop demanding that you back up.

There is going to be a fight.

Let's win.

American Restoration 101

The British sought more than powder and cannon in Concord.

They wanted "Rebel Leaders" to hang.

The concept of a "Decapitation Strike" is well-documented in our own military, and well-demonstrated historically as a means to quickly ending a fight that includes large numbers of foot soldiers.

Take the head, the body falls.

Wise Patriots understand the premise, and can identify every head of the Hydra within the AO.

Just sayin'...

You can never truly defeat the Hydra, as Hercules discovered, for one head is immortal - Evil never really dies.  Hercules buried the immortal head (after decapitating the rest) and placed a heavy rock atop it, just to add a bit more security.  But the immortal head of the Hydra, and Evil itself, will never die.

But take the heads, and see how fast the body of Tyranny falls...

If we all sweep our own front porch, that's all it will ever take.

Why are we Patriots

Go read the Declaration of Independence.  Please.

Forget the Constitution for now.  Forget even the Bill of Rights.

Start at the beginning - the Declaration.

If you truly believe in the tenets of those words, if you believe that I deserve the same Rights, and that your children deserve the same Rights, then you have a moral obligation to ensure those concepts, those philosophies, are put into action and protected, do you not? 

That means you have a moral obligation to defend those tenets and philosophies from those who would be Masters, does it not?

Read the words.

If you believe them to be the fundamental Rights of your Countrymen, you have but one simple decision left to take: When do you stand tall with a rifle in your hands, and protect those Rights, and your Countrymen, and your Posterity?

It really is that simple.

The answer is inside your own heart.

Bill Nye: Eye Opener Extraordinaire

 

Folks, we are on I-40 heading west and I fired up my nifty new Wi-Fi to actually check into some of my regular bloggers and news sources.  I dropped in at Bill's site - and found him in connecting-the-dots mode.  For the entire Citadel Team that was in Dallas, Bill's analysis will get your gears revving.

From the moment we were contacted by Glenn Beck's people early in the year (right after the Drudge piece), we new we'd never have a problem getting interviewed by Beck.  We promised his Team we'd reach out to them first when we had our ducks in a row, when Miller was producing tangibles, et cetera.  So, when we were ready, Holly took point and contacted the Beck Team, and we were booked after the administrative details were worked out.

Yes, the Citadel is media-worthy all on its own.  Yes, the Kerodin Factor adds controversy and juice to the story.  But Glenn Beck?  No matter what you think of Beck you simply can't deny that sitting for an hour with Glenn Beck is anything but Major League.  And personally, give me grief over it if you wish, I think Glenn Beck is doing serious work with tangible results in the fight for Liberty.

But was there more to it than just a news story?  Afterall, Glenn Beck certainly doesn't need the Citadel or a Kerodin on his set for ratings. 

Jim Miller, Holly and I have marveled time and again at how many unlikely events had to happen for the mere concept of the Citadel to be born, much less brought to where we are today, with Miller producing product and the Citadel owning its first parcel of land.  Perhaps you believe in the Hand of the Creator, or would prefer to express it as the Hand of the Universe, or whatever explanation fits your philosophy - but Bill just helped connect dots that, to me, reveal that the Hand of the Creator is not only real, but at work.

Dallas Team - read Bill's analysis and see if you don't have an "AHA!" moment.  For those of you who were not in Dallas, and not there for the post-show discussion we had with Beck in those moments, you won't get the full effect (and I'm sorry, we can't share those comments publicly), but you should still start to see there are forces at work that defy all odds and lead one to a singular conclusion.

The Citadel is the Continuity of Liberty.

Is it possible...

...that Kerodin has actually entered modern technology?

With the help of Dan, our Steering Committee IT Guru from the Citadel, I am currently in the passenger seat of the milk truck, westbound on I-40 at HK speed, typing on this laptop, which is Wi-Fi connected to my Droid.  So, I am actually online and typing NOT with my phone - and as anyone who has ever rec'd a text from me can tell you, if I were typing on a phone, this entire post would look like NSA code because, well, I can't type very well with my thumbs.  ;)

Anyway, we are headed toward Amarillo where some poor cow is about to donate a large chunk of Ribeye to the Kerodin protein fund for dinner, sometime later this evening.

This is the first attempt at doing the laptop via Wi-Fi thing, so I am still disorganized.  I'll hook up my external drive later so I can actually give you a picture with my post.  I'm about to head over to email and try to respond to a few time-sensitive requests without my thumbs getting in the way.

III Stone Craftsman Needed

 

 

Do we have any Stone Engravers in our III who will accept a contract to cut the cornerstone of the Citadel?

 

I want polished granite on 2 sides (corners, not opposite sides) one side for III Arms, the other for Citadel.  As with the pictures I included, the rest of the piece can be rough, for will be a cornerstone, surrounded by poured concrete all sides except the exposed engravings.  There will be text, logos, and at least two reliefs - John Parker on one side, and King Leonidas on the other.

 

Yes, it is time to set the cornerstone.

 

It needs to be trucked to Idaho, unless it will not blow out the rear springs of my lil' HHR.

III CQB Classes

 

Most of you know the basics by now - what to wear, no live weapons, etc.

I am going to suggest that if you own blue or red trainers, especially sidearms, but rifles too, come with holsters as you will wear the sidearms.  I was given a bunch of excuses by Ring Manufacturing about why my order never showed in time for the Illinois class.  We made out ok, and if you DO NOT own any trainers, no worries.  But if you do, bring them with your holsters as you expect to carry in the real world, whether open carry or concealed.

Also: Class organizers and students - I'd like you to think about how you'd like ME to approach your class.  If I am teaching a militia-only class and you want to train ion full kit, that's fine by me, but I will adjust the techniques you are taught.  If the class is all ladies who worry about being raped, different techniques.  I'm flexible, and ultimately I'll decide which techniques to teach, but your input is important.

Finally, and this is merely a reminder:  When you need my CQB training you have already entered a world of shit.  You messed up and left your Fighting Rifle out of reach, or your situational awareness failed you and you suddenly have Bad Guys who can put their hands on you before you can deploy your sidearm.  Or, SHTF is suddenly a reality and your position is being over run and you simply don't have time to reload.

My course is sub-titled Fight to your weapon.  That's what I teach.  I teach you to stay alive in the face of overwhelming force long enough to reach and deploy your weapon, or break the other guy(s) up so you end it with a technique that bends his arm or leg opposite to UL testing specs, turn his lights off temporarily - or forever.  But I will teach you that it is YOUR choice as to whether you live or die.

Sadly, there are times when the other guy will win.  He always has a vote.

Work with me and I will help put the odds - which already suck for you - back in your favor.

Mothers: If you have daughters headed to college, consider my RapeSafety class.  Ignore the pricing you see on the website - that pricing is for people already in my business world who have more dollars than sense.  I'll need a full weekend with a few girls, moms, dads and brothers are welcome.  They WILL be safe away from home.

Militia Commanders:  Make sure your Team has what it takes, from patrolling, to defeating an ambush, to taking a hostage alive, to handling 2-3 Enemies who mean to have your man surrender all of his secrets.  If you are a Militia Commander and you want to test the program before you formally accept a class on behalf of your Team, just let me know when you can make it to the DC Metro area, and I will train with you personally, so you can decide for yourself, from experience.

And remember, I do not need to know the name of any member of your Team if anonymity is important to you.  Assign me a point of contact from your Team, and I'll operate using call signs, even if they are disposable.

IIIGear SitRep

As most of you know I am setting out on a tour of our great republic tomorrow morning to teach several III CQB classes, from Southern California to Colorado to Ohio.  As of this moment we are trying to hit our minimum students for Alabama and Southern Florida for August - I am reallllly looking forward to Southern Florida, I hear there is some great sight-seeing down in the Keys.

Anyway, we have processed and put in the mail (tomorrow morning) all outstanding IIIGear orders EXCEPT:  A few items that Condor was shipping, one Cold Steel blade, and the few hoodies and ALC shirts remaining.  Condor helped us out, and that order will be waiting for us when we hit my old stomping grounds in Los Angeles, and we'll ship that gear from there.  (Maj. Wolf and the raffle knife winner, your knives should have either arrived to your home by now, or will tomorrow or Tuesday).

I am taking all of our T-Shirts and patches, because they don't take up much physical space.  I am leaving the knives in the shop.  So, if you place a knife order or a Condor order, just be advised I won't even begin processing it until I get back to DC, which will be July 23 at the soonest.  If you order hats, patches, shirts, we'll process and ship while on the road.  I'll also have a set of III CQB grey tanks waiting for me in LA.

One of our Steering Committee members for the Citadel is an IT Whiz and he helped me get the milk truck turned into a mobile hotspot, so we'll have the ability to get a lot of work done while traveling - one of our biggest concerns with being away for so long.

III Congress:  Because I will be able to work while Holly is driving, I'll get the last 1/2 dozen patches out and our mission statement drafted so we can formalize it.  I make no promises at all, but given that the Citadel has the attention of national media, I will test the waters once we settle on a mission statement and see if we can get some press coverage.

Chocolat by Daniel

Men who like women learn at an early age that women like chocolate.

Chocolate has a physiological impact on most women, a positive impact that will usually make her fond of the man who gave her the chocolate.  Very fond.  I will be the first to admit that I eat like a 7-year-old-boy, and what is worse is that my palette measures well below "blunt instrument".  Steak good, uhg.  I don't do subtle when I eat.

But the female of our species is more sophisticated than most of us guys.  They see more colors (true), they have a wider field of peripheral vision (true), and when it comes to chocolate most women treat it as a moment in life to be savored, and interrupting a chocolate moment may end in physical pain or divorce if you aren't careful.  They seem to almost taste colors when they eat chocolate.

Daniel hosted our III CQB class last week in Rockford, and he is a professional chocolatier - he is one of those rare men who can create colors for women to enjoy in a piece of chocolate.  No, he doesn't make yellow chocolate - "creating colors" is rhetorical to describe that he is an artisan in chocolate, a genuine Master of the craft.  A Hershey bar is not chocolate.  Ladies, if you think the apex of chocolate is Godiva, I need you to trust me when I say that you have never tasted the real deal.  And I say that with my 7-year-old appreciation for food. (No offense, Godiva)

If you were to enter Daniel's shop and ask for a Godiva-class bit of chocolate to take home to your wife, Daniel may physically throw you out of his establishment. And he can do it - I taught him how. He has, indeed, refused to sell his chocolate creations to some people who are obviously seeking a product far below his standards, and pointed them to the local drug store instead

Daniel's chocolate creations are masterworks of culinary art.

I do not have either the palette to appreciate fully his creations, nor the ability to properly write about his chocolate.  My wife, however, does.  So for you ladies who want to taste what may well be the finest chocolate experience on planet Earth, Holly guest-wrote of the experience.  For you guys who want to stack the deck and get a woman who is out of your league to notice you, you need to read the column then drive to Illinois.

This is not an advertisement for Daniel.  You can't buy his creations online.  He won't ship you anything.

Holly and I are writing of Daniel, his wife, and his chocolate because they are special.

Ladies, I am not kidding, I don't care where you live, tell your man to get his bum to Illinois and come home with some of Daniel's chocolate, or don't come home.  If you die without experiencing the magnificence that is a genuine chocolate moment, shame on you.

**UPDATE**  OK, I went through the video.  I still have a problem with it.  I do have a problem with drunk drivers, but that is another issue.  Today it is drunk drivers, tomorrow it will be...

Seed = food & food = life. It's that simple.

 

Bill is running another special, and I would ask you to think for a moment.

If there is an implosion, if Bad People go hard and detonate the dollar, barter will be essential, at least for a while.  We have all seen in History that Tyrants can and do kill millions with weapons and violence, and they kill at least as many by controlling food.

If we have to go into barter mode, even for a while, consider the value of seeds so people can feed themselves.  Consider the physical space the seeds consume and the weight in your pack.  Consider that Bill's packages are enough to feed many, many people who must suddenly take care of themselves.

There are many items that will be good for barter: liquor, tobacco, ammo, weapons, women - but none are as easy to carry and hide in bulk than food in seed form.  A handful of seed may get you a box of ammo, meat, or more importantly - an ally who will cover your back, because you just helped him feed his family.

A few dozen Patriot Packages in every church in America is one of the most practical and common sense preps possible.  Most of you not only go to church, but I suspect many of you carry weight in your church.  Use that power for good, convince your church elders to invest in a case or pallet of Patriot Packages from Bill.  Put them in the basement.  How much more "...teach a man to fish..." can you really get?  Are they just words?

Do it now, folks - while we can.  Don't wake up one morning to find that there are suddenly no more seeds out there, just as we had a run on firearms and ammo.

Talk to your church. You'll be helping hundreds, perhaps even thousands of people if your church merely buys a case of Patriot Packages.  How many people can you help save, how many people will come together, with a pallet of seeds safely in the church basement?  It is the cheapest and most efficient and useful preps one can invest in right now.  Not only do seeds offer long-term security if the worst comes our way, but even the daily people who come to the church now, seeking a box of food, can be helped by a handful of seeds.  The benefit is short-term and long-term.

And YOU, Patriot, have the power to make it happen.

Compare & Contrast

In my mis-spent youth I owned a Ruger SP-101 in .357 Magnum, a 5-shot revolver that I found to be a magnificent combat revolver.  The ability to load lighter .38 Special for training others was great.  I swapped the grips for a set of Hogue wood grips with finger grooves, much like the beauty below. 

Gads that was a wonderful sidearm that a man - or woman - could trust with life itself.

There is a new site that is compiling reviews of firearms, and I commend it to you.  Jump over and take a look, read a few reviews on firearms you know intimately and see if the reviewers are hitting the X-Ring.
