Reality

Sometimes when I write people think I am talking directly to them in subtle and veiled terms.

I'm not doing that in this post.  This is just a random thought I have decided to put out there.

I'm not sure why, but a vast majority of people seem to think everything in the world, from office politics in the business world to being annoyed over someone who stole a parking spot, to impolite chat on blogs about Communism in America, is all just fun and games and schoolyard trash-talking - right up until the moment they get that stupid "That motherf*cker just stabbed me 19 times in the neck!" look on the face of their half-decapitated head.

Far too many Americans simply think they'll never be touched and held accountable for their actions.

Too many people simply do not understand that Nature is only in balance when people are held responsible for the words out of their mouths and typed by their hands, and the actions they take.

Far too many Americans think they can say anything they want, either in person or online or wherever, and they'll never know what it feels like to eat a backfist, or never learn what a garrote feels like as it slices into the meat of their neck, or never know what it feels like to have their guts spilling on the floor while the person they were arguing with in Starbucks simply walks away, gets in a car, and goes for a shower.

Too many American Human Beings fail to understand that Mother Nature simply didn't rig the system that way.

Guess what happens when a gazelle sneaks up on a lion and smacks that lion on his ass.  Said gazelle is going to get f'd the F up.  That's how nature works.  Guess what happens when a fleeing gazelle stutter-steps and asks for a time-out because he pulled a hammie?  Lunchtime.  That's what f'n happens.

And what happens when one stupid person pushes the wrong guy too far?  That is happening all over America right now.  The learning curve is going to be steep and unforgiving.

Payback is going to hurt.  There will not be any warning.  It's just going to be a backfist, a shovel, a shower, and then a good night sleep with one fewer lippy, stupid putz fouling the air.

Logistics Officers: Continued

**UPDATE**  I'm still not seeing many local units offer any answers to this essential topic.  Are you planning to "tax" the locals, and just take what you need?  FYI - taxing civilians will earn you a Kerodin blade in your neck.  Just so you know.  Does your team even have the skills to hotwire a car anymore, if so?  This stuff matters, folks - at least as much as every man being armed.  No need to reveal your laundry here - so long as you have an answer in your Team.

Not sure how to put this, not sure how it will work, I'm just throwing it out there so you folks with experience in such matters can start working out the details.

Performing capers, any FreeFor caper, requires widgets.

If a caper is going to happen with a single Operator in Cleveland, what's it going to take to get logistics to pre-stage the widgets he needs - like escape cars, maybe a motor cycle, maybe a bottle of mascara - stuff he can't get on his own, or would draw suspicion, and stuff that may be used once and then useless for future work.

This takes money.  The III community has no real money players to support capers, especially distant capers (or, do we?)

And Logistics is a skill unto itself.

Feel free to talk among yourselves, I have little knowledge to contribute - I fall onto the operational side of things - the guy who needs the widgets and safe houses and such.

If I was a dangerous radical, that is.  Of course, I'm not.  I'm loveable and fluffy.

Slitting throats...

I have decided to test Al's theory.

All men die.

I'll die having the score as even as possible.

Read this from a reader...

Purpose of the III

I believe in Meritocracy.  Winners in life believe in Meritocracy also, even if they don't use the word.

People who do things and advance causes end up at the front of the pack, one way or another.

People who believe in genuinely accomplishing goals end up walking with those people who do things to advance.

Some people simply like the way it feels when they sit on their thumb and spin.  They whine and cry as they are passed by real men.

The III Patriots who routinely come to this blog are achievers in life. They rise to high levels in their chosen professions.  They become Team Leaders.  They become entrepreneurs.  They take point.  They become respected because that is simply how Mother Nature programmed the world - to respect accomplishments.  We do things.  We do not whine.  We do not make excuses.  We do not try to blame others for our own setbacks in life.

Be that guy.  Be the guy who shows up at a CQB class, then goes forward and burns thousands of calories in Krav building muscle memory.  Be the guy who learns the best way to grow a garden is by getting his hands in the soil and doing it over and over until he gets pretty good at it.  Be the guy who knows how to tourniquet his buddies leg and then drag his ass to cover if ever needed.  Be the woman who can help patch that guy up, return fire, and make a hell of a peach cobbler when she wants to make a cobbler.  Be the guy who lays on his side, head pressed uncomfortably against a curb, in the cold rain shooting your sidearm off-hand under the car at a target 25 yards away - just because.  Be the guy who knows what the hell it means to be a real man.

Be the guy who knows thousands of men are depending upon him to build the Stoner AR, gets a CNC in his garage (having never even turned on a CNC before), and within months is shipping fighting rifles to Patriots.

Be the guy who takes a long, deep breath when life sucks, then gets back to it.

Now think of this collection of Souls we call the III.  You know some of the guys wearing III patches will hide when sh*t gets real. You know some of those guys are racist f*cks who will target people because of their skin color when they think they can get away with it.  You know some of the guys wearing III patches right now won't hesitate to tell you to go do X, from the safety of their recliner.

Next time you meet an honest-to-God Navy SEAL or Green Beret, ask him what he'd do if he saw some poser wearing a SEAL patch or SF crest on a jean jacket at a shopping mall - some snot-nosed kid who never rolled out of bed before noon in his life.

The world is getting very real, folks.  It is time to police ourselves in the III.  It is time to cut the waste loose and keep them out of our business.  It is time to close ranks and give the posers the backs of our hands.  This is not a f*cking social club.  When you find a piece of garbage wearing a III patch - take it from him.  Being a III Patriot is to be earned, not simply ordained by some fat man with a King complex.

Time to man-up.  You know a poser when you meet him.  Do something about it.

My final comment on MBV

You have all watched Mike Vanderboegh launch a full-scale assault this last week or two against me.

Now Mike is attacking my wife, and even his most rabid, mouth-breathing sycophants are backing away from him.  No real man attacks a woman.

At the moment he is trying to interpret a part of my ServiceMagic case -- a case that Holly and I brought against ServiceMagic -- trying to spin it as if we lost the case and owe them money.  Bunk.  I am compelled to write this because the level of idiocy and complete disconnect with reality coming from Camp Vanderboegh is reaching proportions that should lead his family to consider having him put in a psych ward for observation.  Really.

I can only hope and pray the same "lawyers" feeding him this information now are the same "lawyers" he uses when he has to answer for himself in the near future for the Red Dot matter.  Oh, please let it be so!

Even current lawyers will fall asleep if I talk too much about the crap Mike Vanderboegh has on his blog page tonight regarding a "Judgment."  So I'll keep this to just a few sentences.  My HVAC company did well over a million dollars in a single year using many domains we owned (such as PotomacHeating.com).  ServiceMagic bought the same domains, adding only a hyphen to change the name, then use Search Engine Optimization to steal our customers. (They bought "Potomac-Heating.com" and such).  We filed suit in Federal Court.  Because of the new Iqbal & Twombly standards necessary in a complaint, the case was kicked back, (without prejudice for you lawyer-types) to stage one before the court ever considered the merits of the case.  The Judge essentially told us to fix our complaint and re-file -- which is most assuredly on the agenda.  The "Judgment" Mike seems to think is some sort of smoking gun is not a court fine, a court-imposed settlement, or even a requirement to pay the lawyer fees for ServiceMagic.  Essentially, we have to pay for some postage from the other firm, if they ever send us a bill.  Guess what - they never sent a bill, because they know we are coming back. After more than a year of ServiceMagic paying for two high-dollar law firms in two different states to defend a case against little ol' us, I think ServiceMagic would like to see us go away forever.

Think we had no win in that case, even before we got to trial?  Do you know ServiceMagic changed their name?  Yep - they go by "HomeAdvisor" now.  Do you know the Senior Vice President in charge of the matter was severed from the company?  Gee, I wonder why a $55 million dollar per quarter company changed their name and personnel...

That former Senior Vice President made exactly the same mistake Randy Booth at Red Dot Arms made: We emailed him nicely and asked him to stop. We didn't ask for ANYTHING other than "Please Stop." But it seems he, like Randy, was feeling invincible, so he: (1) lied in writing, and  (2) underestimated the consequences of his actions.

Mike is simply seeking to goad me into losing my cool and threatening him or making some mistake to get him off the hook regarding his actions with Red Dot.  Sorry Mike, ain't gonna happen.

Holly and her legal team are not focusing on "ServiceMagic" at the moment.  Know why?

Yeah, you know why, don't you Mike.  You feel them coming for you, don't you...

Folks, Holly and Jim Miller don't want this stuff discussed while the lawyers are doing their thing.  They are not wrong.  As my title says, this is my final public discussion of Mike Vanderboegh until the lawyers are done with him and Randy Booth at Red Dot Arms.

It's times like this that I wish I had earned the right to say "Mike, have a very SF Day."  But I never wore the beret.

Here is the really important part, and the biggest reason I wrote this post: - if you won't stick up for your wife when she is being maligned and lied about online, I don't want you inside my wire.

III 300: A message from one of the few

Israel posted tonight, a post that should be read by all.

The III is bigger than any man or woman.  That's all I have to say on the topic.

Here's Israel's piece.  I'll say it again: Israel doesn't post every day, but when he does, it carries weight and deserves your attention.

Here's the link.

Boobies

This was a test, just to see how many of you would come running.

You failed.

K

But I had fun.  ;)

Strawberry banana Smoothies - yes, you read that properly...

It's a little-known fact that smoothies are a big hit at fighting studios.  My personal favorite is strawberry, banana, with a scoop of vanilla or strawberry (Breyers) ice cream.  Some people like to add yogurt or ice or a slice of apple or a dollop of honey.  Those who want it can get a shot of protein powder (Thanks BR!)

We plan to have a full smoothie bar (fruit only - no veggies - which explains the need for blenders on the wish list) to carb-up after class.  We'll also have the typical water/juice/Red Bull/Energy Drinks, et cetera.

Sorry, no liquor license and no food.

What is your smoothie addiction and/or preference, if you have one?  After dumping 2-5 pounds of water weight in a 90 minute class, what would you be hunting for to sate that thirst and hunger?

I know, not a very rah-rah Kill all Commies kinda post.  I'm a very complex and sensitive guy.  ;)

Flags & such...

Folks, it is time to re-stock some III Gear, and to freshen up some of it.

Anyone want to throw a design color/combo this way, then we'll vote on it?

Remember - it is a battle flag, and the Nyberg is not acceptable.

Personally, I like Red/White/Blue, but I am not an art guy.

So, let's throw some stuff against the wall and see what sticks.

Do the same for patches - anthing in particular you want to see?

Need Feedback

I have already added several posts this morning requesting feedback, I hope you'll take time on each one.

One of the best ways I can think of helping Patriots prep for what is coming is to get them running their own businesses in niche markets.  To that end, Holly and I have a friend we met in person at Brock's PatCon.  He's an auto mechanic, with a LOT of experience and skills.

Here's my concept: He looks around the web for good, solid, older 4x4 vehicles and does his mechanic magic on them.  Then he adds a few upgrades useful for getting Patriots over the dale and through the woods with minimal headaches - such as Warn bumpers and winches, lights, to hitches (I'm a Warn guy, can you tell?)

He could keep a few on a "For sale lot", ready to go.  He could customize them as you wish - even you guys that like lift kits and such.  You could even bring him your stock rig that you love, and ask him to make it III ready.

I am just brainstorming here.  Since he would not be chasing the $50,000 mega-lifted garage queens that never see a real dirt trail, instead building working 4x4's specifically for the Patriot market, could this be a niche that would work?  If you wanted some work done on your rig that is either beyond your skillset or simply too time consuming, would you seek out a III Patriot with fair prices before giving the work to your local shop?

Like you, I don't have money to do everything I want to do at once.  But I bet he could even add a few "extras" designed for the III Patriot - such as prudently placed plate steel and even a few James Bond Get out of Jail widgets, if you know what I mean.  One of those fancy hide-boxes that are the rage in the drug courier business - you know, you have to tune the radio to 1640 AM, roll the passenger window 1/3 down, recline the seat, light the lighter, then the secret, hydraulic dashboard hidey-hole opens.  Mess up the opening sequence, and you'll need the jaws of life to get in there.  ;)  I bet Wirecutter might know a thing or three about such things.  But that's just a hunch.  I could be wrong.  Maybe.  ;)

So, my question: As you build your Go Vehicle, would you take the choice to go to a III Patriot over your local shop, even if it is a bit further of a drive?

I'll put my money where my mouth is and as I can afford to have things done, I'll get Wrench to do the mods, we'll document it all and document it all on III Jeep blog (yes, that blog is built, I just don't have enough time in a day folks).

So - III Patriot truck shop - yes or no?

Conversation Piece

What do you think would happen across America if scenes like the above, including DUI checkpoints, VIPR checkpoints, et cetera, were met with self defense tactics that include return fire from inside vehicles, fire from passing vehicles and pedestrians, and sniping from concealed teams hastily taking position to do so?

I'm not just looking for the obvious answer: "Lotsa dead LEO, duh!"

I mean, what would LEO response be on the street level?

What would local and state level political response be?

What would National level .Gov response be?

What would be the prevailing attitude of the general public (assuming shooters used proper muzzle control and only hit LEO, no collateral damage)?

You can even plat the Immediate Response/Short Term Response/Long Term Response, if you'd like.

K

Not in California. Not in New York. Nowhere in the USA.

This must stop, folks.

How many Californians drove by and looked at the pretty lights, and wondered what "the bad guy did to earn a rifle in his face?!"  And look at tubbo in the tac-helm - yes, he's threat level 2 - not your primary concern.

I'm telling you there is only one way it will stop.

To be any more clear, I'd need crayons...

The American Guerrilla Fighter: A Profession of sadness

At first blush I find the concept of American Guerrilla Fighters to be repugnant.

We've already done it, more than once.  We shouldn't have to do this again.

It is not glamorous.  It is not heroic.  It is hard work, it is dangerous, and you will probably die from a stupid mistake, by some PoS loyalist who stabs you in the back, or just because you are in a dangerous profession.  Is it even a profession?  Not from where you and I sit.  Sure, guys like Mosby are Professional Guerrilla Fighters, because they earn a paycheck and they go teach people in other nations to be Guerrilla Fighters.  But once they come home and rotate back into civvies, they are just guys with experience - no longer professionals on a payroll.

I've been looking at this concept of Guerilla Fighting in modern America.  It is nothing but ugly contemplations.  There are no bright spots. What is worse, if the Guerilla Fighter isn't independently wealthy, if he is not financed by a John Hancock in his endeavors, or if he is not willing to go hardcore and take everything he needs (which transforms him into a criminal, not a moral Fighter), then I simply don't see how it can work.

Sure, I can hear a lot of people already typing.  "Well 70 of us from Bumf*ck County will just kill every LEO we see and take their shit".  Please leave now, this is a conversation for grown-ups.

Let's consider a simple hypothetical Guerrilla Op (Give me a break and DO NOT critique the operational hypothesis - it is a quick thumbnail, many details and variables are eliminated for simple conveyance of the general point): Target X is a Bad Person, he voted on the City Council that local LEO is allowed to set up roadblocks and push the business-end of an M4 into the face of every driver until they are satisfied.

Whether this is your AO or not, you've got problems that need answers.  You decide to catch our City Councilman on his front lawn, one of the lesser-populated spots suitable to meet him.  You begin waiting in your van about 30 minutes before he is due home.  When he gets home and starts getting out of the car, you start moving toward him with your delivery uniform and cleverly disguised package.  You get his attention and as he smiles (because you smiled too) and as he reaches to accept your package, 3 muffled .357 rounds leave the box and correct his Marxist behavior - forever.

Now you have to exfil.

You turn, get back to your van casually but quickly, get a few blocks away, dump your clothes, set the entire thing afire to kill as much DNA as possible, get into your pre-positioned escape vehicles, and exit the neighborhood in a vehicle that LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS IN THE NEIGHBOORHOOD.  Then you hit your disposable Safe House, get rid of everything you've got, burn it all for the same reasons, and leave in a vehicle that will get you onto a very close highway and out of Dodge.

So - you need a van that will pass muster as a delivery van.
You need a delivery uniform that will pass muster.
You need a revolver that will not be traced back to you or any ally.
You need E&E vehicle One (after the van) that can be burned and NOT traced back to anyone you know (VIN numbers will NOT be destroyed in your fire.)  Remember, if the City Council lives in a nice neighborhood and your E&E car is a 25 year old 'yota, that would be a clue.
You need a safehouse that can't be traced to you in any papertrail.  You also need to burn it to the ground.
Then you need your final exfil vehicle that can get you past a traffic stop without a firefight as you leave the AO - so it has to be legit.

Obviously all of this includes the proper tradecraft to avoid cameras, etc.

So - we see the .357 rounds are the cheapest part of the op.  This is much cheaper if you are willing to go on a kamikaze mission, drive your own car and die when PoPo arrives.

But if we intend to live to do this again, can we all please agree that using cousin Bubba's 4x4 for a drive-by or auntie Lulu's BMW for an escape vehicle is categorically STUPID? Can I get an AMEN!?

What is the point of this post?  It surely isn't a blueprint for ridding the world of a Marxist slug.

It is to illustrate that if you wish to remain alive, and that means anonymous, you need resources.  You need cash for vans, uniforms, disposable weapons, disposable cars, disposable safehouses.  Not to mention you need to pay the bills for your wife.  If your wife is like mine, she is accustomed to eating every day and wants to keep it that way.  She doesn't eat much, but a steady caloric stream is a requirement.

Look around the III community, folks.  Look to the broader Liberty sphere.  Look to the Tea Party.

Those of you willing to be modern American Guerrilla Fighters - do you have the money to do it right?  Do you see anyone of means putting money into a bucket to finance such ops?

Even if you manage to finance Op #1 - what about Op #2?

I don't have an answer.  I'm just thinking aloud, with you.  I do not do kamikaze.

We have no infrastructure for a Guerrilla War that remains surgical and below the radar.  All we have is a bunch of guys who say they will get the work done, when it is time, with their deer rifles and the box of soft-points left over from last years doe season.

Yeah, I'm in a harsh mood.  That does not make my point less valid.

The III must evolve...

"The FOCKers" was created by MBV as most of you know, meant to be a slur. (Friends of Christian Kerodin)

Another Fail for Mikey.

In a very short period of time the image above from Zoomie has become my favorite - and I have a LOT of Zoomie art with which I am in love.  But this one is more than just an FU - it also captures who we are, brothers standing in phalanx covering one another, with a single goal, against overwhelming odds.

Like Leonidas and his 300 at Thermopylae, those of us III 300 today probably will not live to see Liberty restored.  But without us, without our taking point and choosing to do the Hard Things, Liberty dies.  The Second Wave will have no chance.  They will not have the manpower or the moral mandate or the popular support.  Only we III 300 can bring that to life.

I do not have to point out the names of our modern Ephialtes'.  I should not need to remind you to be careful, and trust only those people for whom you would die.

When I say the III must evolve, I mean the positions we take, the lines we stand upon and hold, and the charity and mercy we save for our own first.  I will write on this soon, and I will take point. I will return to meet many of you on our way back to Idaho.

The original 300 was an elite group of Warriors, who marched out to meet Evil and slow it down.  They knew they were leaving their wives for the last time.  They knew they had to stem the bleeding of Liberty.  They knew they had to hold the line as long as they could, and make the Persians pay with every ounce of blood they could draw.  Only years later would the second wave of Spartans be able to take the field and defeat Xerxes.

Delayed gratification.  That Second Wave of Spartans fought for the same reasons as the first, with one more burning in their hearts - they fought for their King Leonidas and his 300, and their Queen, Gorga, Daughter of a king and mother to Leonidas son.

The America I love has been invaded.  It has had its moral core eaten from within.  It needs her heroes and Patriots.  The enemy looks like us.  They claim many of the same symbols as do we.  They hold claim to the Liberty in your heart, and in your baby stroller.

Holding the line is what Leonidas did.  But he did not draw that line in Sparta.

He traveled to meet the enemy, then drew the line.

They had to kill him to conquer it.

In his death, rose Liberty.

III to III

Some of you, a very small number, understand the path above.

Israel understands.

I have others in mind - some of you folks deserve to have him at your back, and he deserves you.  But these are conversations to be had in private, among Patriots.

Israel wrote a post that I will link below.  I'm not linking it because he wrote about me and Holly.  You can replace "Holly & Sam" in that post with any names of any Patriots you know, and then you understand Israel.  I am convinced the ideal in my mind of what America was once, long ago, is still there, in men like Israel - they are simply obscured by the hundreds of slothful parasites for every Israel occupying our republic.

I mentioned the other day that we do not get to choose our blood relatives.

We do get to choose who we call friends, brothers.  Israel is a friend.  I have never met his wife, but I know she's right there.  She and I spoke in email briefly over Christmas.  She knows the man she loves.

All III Patriots are leaning into the future, whether we like it or not.  Israel and his Tribe have all been marked and sit on some bureaucratic list, marked for disposal.  I hope I am with that Tribe on that day.  We may die.  But by damn, we'll die together, and we'll take more than they get.

This Patriot Movement, this "Liberty" stuff, and especially this III Community, is hard.  It is about men and strong women who know how to cover their men's back.  We are the ones the babies in strollers are depending upon, right now, to make sure they are not slaves their entire lives.

For those of you who have dug deep and helped me and Holly to make the III Studio in St Maries the best it can be - thank you.  I owe you.  You call, and I come.  And if you were not able to send a contribution or hit a link on the Amazon wishlist, you are no less my family.  I know most of your hearts.  I know many of you would go without something for yourself just to send me a few bucks - and you know I don't want you to do that.  I have heroes in my life - they live, breathe - they are you.

I got to choose this family.  Holly has also chosen this family. Israel she shared your email exchange from today with me.  She is right, you are more than a brother.

I am a very proud man that each of you choose to be a part of my life, even if you only read my words once in a while.

Israel: Call, and I am there.

Here is Israel's post.

Heh...

What word would you use to describe a man - the first word that comes to mind - who wrote no fewer than 11 (eleven) long, meandering, self-absorbed and mentally unstable and hostile posts about you on their blog?  In a week.  Eleventy - out of about 20 - more than half.

Sheldon Cooper was tested.  Somehow I think my fanboi was not.

Somehow I think someone is making a skin suit that looks like me in his cellar...

Generally speaking...

...in life when Bad People are doing bad and illegal things and get caught and called out on it, those BadPeople stop doing the bad things and raise their voices about how they never did anything wrong in the first place.

Just something I have noticed in life. Heh.  If you look for it, you'll see it.
