FANGREAT!

Israel has taken advantage of a kickboxing opportunity where he is studying Krav.  I'll link his report below, it is worth reading for everyone, especially if you are serious about fighting for Liberty beyond the blogs.  In the real world, second place is usually death.  You'd better be as fit and prepared as possible.

In the decades I trained hard I would usually binge at least one week each month.  By binge I mean I would hit every class at every dojo within range, every day, from the 6am class through the 10 pm class - open hand, weapons, whatever was on the menu for the day.  True exhaustion arrives on Day One.  Day Two and beyond, you are operating on willpower, determination, and the most important part - your body begins to learn the techniques without your brain being in the way.  Your techniques become muscle-memory, reflex.  That is where true depth in the arts is to be found.  You have to find a way to get your brain out of the way - and one of the most effective ways to do that is to get on the mat when you are bone-assed weary.

Your brain is your biggest asset - and your biggest liability - in a real-world fight.  In the moment you take to analyze the punch coming at your head, by the time your brain tells your arm to block, you've been hit.  When you begin to train hard, you have the tools to train deep, in the muscle-memory arena of reflex.  That moment or two often is the margin between winning and dying.  When an enemy drives into your waist and you reflexively drop him into a guillotine, you win.  If your brain has to inform your body "Hey!!  We can get the guillotine from here!  Get him!" - well, he's already passed that opportunity and he's probably driven you to your back where real damage will begin.

If you undertake the hard work of learning real, effective CQB skills to augment your entire skillset, when you are able, drive yourself beyond exhaustion when you can, step on the mat when you are drop-dead weary, and let the spritely, well-rested partners in your class come hard.  This is the time to choose the biggest guys, the most talented gals, so you really burn that technique into your lower brain.

And don't limit your exhaustion training to CQB - when you are so tired you just can't stand yourself, grab your pistol or rifle and go shoot.  Want to add realism to this type of training?  Kit up, do some PT, then go shoot.  Very little beats exhaustion as a training aid.

The Fix...

I think most reading our blogs will agree that most of the Framers had a serious, working plan for governance in the Constitution they drafted and was ratified by every state.  America was born a Republic. She had given the elements of the Government both mandates and restrictions.  Make no mistake, had the room not been filled with Federalists  - and with Thomas Jefferson - the document may have approached a product of which God Himself would approve, without caveat.

The people most annoyed with the Constitution were the folks who sought monarchy and big Government, and even though they lost many Constitutional battles, they recognized the destructive potential that had been installed in the Judiciary by men who failed to properly assess the Evil intent of the Loyalists.  They began attacking by 1803 in Marbury, with claiming Judicial Review.  Then they famously "...retreated to the Judiciary..."

Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809, just as the new Constitution was spooling up.  Lincoln's father was of the Founding Generation, but I admit I have not studied Lincoln sufficiently to know what politics would be instilled in young Abe's mind during his formative years.

But in the time from ratification until Lincoln set out to destroy the Constitution and set the nation on a path that would lead to ruin in the hands of people like Teddy R. and ultimately to FDR, very few years had passed.  Lincoln was among the first people born in the generation of the Founders.  During his 53 year travels to reach the White House, how many people suffered at the hands of the Federal Government?  Not many.

Lincoln represented the first generation of people born after ratification.

It took one generation to dismiss Constitutional permissions and restrictions.

Most interesting: When did the General Public begin to recognize problems with the country?  I dare say the first generation of Americans lived well, lived in Freedom and at Liberty, unmolested by the Federal Government.  They prospered.

And then Lincoln chose to murder the Constitution. That's when it got real.

Even if we fix it today, how long will it take to begin the process of murdering it again?  History says a generation or so.  Will we teach our posterity to remain involved and protect the principles at all times?  Will we teach them it is ok to raid a violators office and drag him out of his home or office and hang him in the street as warning to his fellow politicians.

1) Fight to Restoration.
2) Purge the Continent of people who insist on infringing Rightful Liberty.
3) Empower our children to watch their politicians and be ruthless when transgressions occur.

If we teach our young the importance of killing people who dare to infringe the Rights of Americans (our failing the first time, if I were asked) - is moral, honorable, patriotic...

Then I will die having felt I have contributed something of value...

Duty

Some will argue they owe nothing to anyone.  Some will argue they have no obligation to the Constitution - afterall, they never signed it or agreed to it.

Personally, I am absolutely in support of any individual who seeks to withdraw his consent and live outside the Constitution, so long as that chosen path does not infringe the Rightful Liberty of anyone else.  I also have no problem with any State that chooses to secede.  I have a problem with people who seek deliberate Balkanization.

But most of us do feel a sense of obligation to help restore the Constitution and the permissions and restrictions it presents upon the individuals in "Government".  I do.  Forget they "why" of it - I just do.

Obligation is one of the three sine qua non of Honor.

Local, Local, Local...

With a full tank of fuel in your SHTF vehicle, calculate how many city miles you can travel.

Reduce that mileage number by 10% for safety buffer.

Divide that number by half. 

That is your Bingo Fuel range in that vehicle under typical conditions.  That is the outside range for operations, to ensure you have enough fuel in your rig to get back to base without refueling.

Now thoroughly study your local maps and calculate how far that vehicle will get you, under normal SHTF conditions, in each direction from your operations base.  Do not use "as the bird flies" calculations.  Use Google Maps to calculate ranges on actual travel routes.  That is your primary AO.

Holly and I are heading westward in the next week or so to continue serious work in Idaho to lay the ground for III Patriots who are planning to move to the Redoubt.  We have talked quite a bit about the area of St. Maries and Benewah County.  For many reasons this area was chosen by the readers of this blog as the place best for relocation and defensive considerations in a SHTF and/or WROL societal tragedy.  Many of us think this area is ideal for making our families safe in such a world.  There is water, food, low population, the population currently in the area is generally like-minded regarding Liberty, and the area is well-removed from the most likely lines of attack in an ugly world.  Even if we do not have time to build a perimeter wall for the Citadel, a county filled with serious III Patriots is a secure county.  Overlapping fields of fire will be easy...

However, my life on this planet has made me intimately familiar with the Washington DC Metro area.  I know every street and neighborhood in the city by memory, I know the "attitude" of every neighborhood, and I can get to any X on the map without navigational aids.  My knowledge of the immediate surrounding suburbs is as complete for at least 30 miles in all directions - as the bird flies - 50 or more in some directions - though I admit in some instances I may need a map to find an exact spot.  Yes, I have the maps - including topo.  I can get from any suburb to any other suburb without navigation aids, and I can do this by a nearly any existing route, no matter how convoluted, but finding some particular streets will need a map.  As bad as is my memory (Goldfish have better memories), this is one area of my memory that works well.

Additionally, because of decades of being on the water, I am as knowledgeable about Chesapeake Bay and all of the rivers that feed her.  If needed I can get to the water, and once on the water I can get anywhere I need to go.  I may have to borrow a boat, and a car wherever I land, but if we are in such a state of affairs, I don't think the owner will mind...

When, if, I am ever forced to fight for Restoration, the place in America where I would be most valuable is in the DC Metro area.

Do you know your AO as well?  Have you calculated Bingo Fuel ranges?  Have you mapped where you are likely to find emergency safe houses?  Have you done the grind of learning who in your AO is important for facilitating OpFor, and where to find them?  Have you identified places that may require intense attention from your Team, and where your Team can stage for such action - surrounding buildings, how to gain access to such buildings either clandestinely or covertly?  Do you know where you can find a sturdy piece of heavy equipment to borrow if you decide to dig a trench across a popular driving route, if needed?

You have already been mapped by those who mean to be Masters.  Your relationships have been mapped.  Where you buy groceries, get your meds, where you go for medical treatments, where you work and with whom, who is in your cell phone, and their relationship to you.  Remember, the Enemies of Liberty have a plan, and they are already executing that plan.  Right now.

If you do not know who is critical for implementing that plan in your area, and where to find them, how to apply pressure through their contacts, you are behind the curve.  If you have not identified and mapped every force projection element in your AO, you are behind the curve.  If you have not identified every shot-caller in your AO and where/how to find them, you are behind the curve.

If you have not identified every possible way to defend the most important assets in your AO from OpFor mal-intent, you are behind the curve.

And it isn't simply people that should be in your knowledge base.

If you know where OpFor elements work, have you figured out how to make their work uncomfortable and slow without causing collateral damage to the school or residential neighborhood down the street?  Have you identified where the HVAC, electrical supply, gas supply, phone/fiber lines feed these buildings so you can shut them down with surgical precision?  Have you watched to see what routes and what companies feed supplies to these buildings?

Has your Team pitched in to establish a safe house and set it up?  If a decapitation strike begins, your Team and families will have to be elsewhere when the Bad People come to your known address - this is something you need to put in place now, and be ready to go the moment it becomes clear that you need to go ghost.

This is what is meant by "Local, Local, Local".

If the North American Liberty Games begin, you will have plenty to do very close to your home. 

You will have little need to travel far to find monsters to slay.

Work on it, if you need to get it done.  Once the Games begin, it's too late.

Home & Hearth, then Liberty...

At the end of the day, if there is no FreeFor as such to join and fight with, and I can’t trust to have my family kept safe when I put on my ruck and go to the rally point, then I won’t go. - Snippet of a comment written by Max Velocity on a WRSA thread, here.

Isn't it refreshing to see pure honesty in a statement?  We have held for a long time the reason most American men with a fondness for Liberty have remained at home is because there is no other way to protect what they love most in life - wife, children, grandbabies.

What is a solution to making your family as safe as possible so that able-bodied men can go and force Restoration?  Move your family to a safe and defensible geographic place where the majority of locals agree with you.  Encourage as many like-minded people as possible to join you in the safety of rugged mountains, or an island off the coast, or wherever. 

When enough like-minded Souls are together in one place and a man can feel confident that his Home & Hearth will be protected by neighbors, that his dearest loved ones are as safe as possible, then he will head to the fight for Liberty and begin doing the Hard Things.  He doesn't necessarily need a walled fortress or Green Zone for his family, but he damned sure needs to know his neighbors won't simply watch his house burn to the ground if it catches fire.  He needs to know his neighbors will do their best to keep his treasure (family) safe.

Creating such a community simply to huddle together and claim independence is not a solution as it was in RevWarI.  Today, there is nowhere else to go.  Everyone's back is against the wall - there is no "uncharted country" to which one can sail and live in genuine Liberty.  Reducing your footprint is not an answer to the devouring nature of Communism - they will come for you, eventually, wherever you run to hide.  And if you choose safety for yourself while leaving Communism on the field, knowing it will come for your children - well, that simply isn't what men do.

However, creating such a community so that able-bodied and rightly motivated men can start handing out fists full of Fuck You - now that's a plan.

Too bad no one has thought of it.

Questions for Comms Guys

2.5 questions, actually.

1) How long does it take for modern Direction Finding teams (based in USA) to find a transmitter?  (How long do you have to be on-air before they can find you) - and is this a passive technology on their part?   Or do they have to be actively looking for transmissions?

2) What is the answer for the Team that wants all bands/all modes as well as encryption, Frequency Hopping, and burst transmission capability?

I am looking at the unit above as outlined at Signal Corps (here) for my personal rig, as I want optimum capability and mobility.  I know burst/encryption/hopping are all verboten, but what should a man buy today for the moment WROL arrives and he wants those capabilities?

Hmm...3.5 questions: How much are you professional Comms Guys concerned that Motorola is now owned by Google, a company that has proven to be willing to help .gov when asked - are you moving away from Motorola equipment because of potential back doors?

I do not remember a single headline about this during the timeframe in which it happened.

You want to know your place in the hierarchy?  Here you go.  This is how they think of us all.  This is how they will treat us all.

If we allow them to remain at the controls of society.

A million people calling a Zebra a Horse does not make a Zebra a Horse.  If I remain the last man alive who believes in Natural Rights, against every other Human Being alive, their numbers do not change the fact that I have Natural Rights.  They have the power to violate those Rights, but not the power to make Natural Law a fiction.

A reminder, folks.  "The State" and "The Government" are nothing more than collections of individuals who have chosen to band together and self-identify as .gov - whether "The State" or "The Government" abuse their power or not is a decision always taken by individuals, and supported by other individuals.  You want the problems to stop, you focus on the individuals who choose to violate your Rights.

Consider where the country would be right now if the individuals in the USMC or US Army decided to treat their oaths as do the individuals in Federal Government.  This is why the Officer Corps is being torn down and rebuilt - individuals who intend to continue violating your Rights intend to have like-minded violators at the controls of .mil.

Aim small, miss small.  One at a time.  Convince those who would violate your Rights that doing so is not free, and not worth the cost they will pay. 

There were individuals draped in the cloak of "The State" who ordered that it was acceptable to imprison this woman, forcibly sedate her, and remove the child from her womb by surgery, and then keep the baby.

Individuals.  And lots of them...

Pain: Weakness Leaving Your Body

Israel (The Steel I-Beam) has found a Krav studio near his temporary work AO, and has dived in. 

He's taken the time to share a bit of his experience, which is nothing less than a golden nugget, a beautiful, valuable gift, that he is willing to share.  I have mentioned that at least one other member of his Tribe has done the same, so when these folks all get together, they will be in a position to have our two III Patriots take point on CQB studies within the group.  Nope - a day at my CQB class and a few months in a Krav studio will not make you a world-class, fire-eating, cage monster ready for a Vegas event - but you'd better believe it will make you ready for 99% of humanity who might be so foolish as to try and lay their hands upon you. 

Most of humanity has zero experience with real fights. 

Pay particular attention to the portion Israel discusses going hard for 30 seconds on the mitts.

This is where most fighters die.  They run out of gas.  They have no wind.  The ability to keep your arms up in a defensive position, literally, becomes impossible once you pass a certain point of muscle-exhaustion.  If you can't defend yourself longer than the other guy stays on his feet swinging - you will die.  And if you think that empty gas tank is at least 5 or 10 minutes away in a real-world fight, and you haven't tested that theory - well...

Work on your wind, folks.  Israel is a man who is far more conditioned and fit than most we will find in our trenches, and he tells you what 30 seconds of non-stop swinging is like.  Believe him.  If you don't choose to believe him or me - go to a gym, find a heavy bag, and simply go hard, full speed, on that bag with punches, elbows, knees and shin kicks.  Ask someone to time you, and give them a stun-gun to zap you when you cheat and take a breather.  If you want someone who won't let you cheat, give the stun gun to your young son or your spouse.  ;)

I promise most of you will not be able to go truly hard for 30 seconds, and you will feel it tomorrow.

...and that is just 30 seconds...

...against a target that will not punch back...

...against a single target, not 3 grown men who mean to have your wallet and wife...

How can you Resist if you don't have Endurance? 

You've got to learn to grind it out, emotionally and physically, when the enemy comes and the world looks bleak.  You have to make yourself as unassailable as possible - so if they attack, you have the ability to outlast them as they break their bones against the rock that is your will and determination.

There is only one way to do that folks - you have to go do it. 

And in the end, remember - as your pistol is truly a tool designed to help you fight to your rifle, your CQB skills are there to help you fight to that pistol, or knife, or brick, or that piece of rebar over yonder...

The Knock-Out Game: A Warrior's Perspective

The Knock-Out Game is Counting Coup.

It is that simple.

Within a particular bandwidth of Black America, it has become a rite of passage that portends sad, grim and entirely manipulated and orchestrated violence that will rip America asunder along lines of race, in the beginning.  For the young Blacks currently engaging in this cowardly perversion of Counting Coup, the Knock-Out Game is nothing more than a puppy to a young serial killer, a stepping stone to more violence, harder violence.  And they are receiving political cover from on-high, as the Useful Idiots they are...

Nearly two years ago I challenged Patriots who have never lived professionally in a world of violence to go forth and Count Coup as a means to ramping toward the hard violence that will be required in defense of self, family and Tribe.  I know several Patriots who accepted that challenge, one publicly.

Did you?

If not, you are probably behind the curve and at an emotional disadvantage, among other disadvantages - to a young Black boy or girl who has already unleashed hard violence.  And they did it to helpless, out-numbered, weaker targets, often of the opposite sex.  They will not feel nausea when they gut, rape, and beat your family to death for entertainment.  They have broken that emotional barrier.  Have you?

As I have said before, too many times: The Enemies of Liberty have a plan.

You are watching them implement that plan, in real-time.

You are part of that plan - and you will not like it.  You have already been assigned a number, a disposition, and you already reside on the list in at least one bureaucrats calendar.  You are scheduled as part of a routine day at work for a Stack, or some other means of disposal.

You are probably far behind the curve.

III CQB Training Exercise

For my students: Gather your Tribe and select the interior of a home.

Now find the narrow spots, especially the hallway linking bedrooms, and fight to your weapon.

You will notice many of our techniques work - and there simply isn't time or room to execute others. 

Train as you intend to fight, folks.

Don't learn what works, and what doesn't, in the real world when blood is at stake.  Learn now.

Good news: The online video-stream of the Fight to your Weapon course will go live soon.  As many of you know allies taped the class held at Brock's Fall PatCon, and we've seen the first few clips - they are great for our purposes!  As soon as we get the first 10 or so techniques in the queue, we'll open the site.

When they drop the optics...

When the Enemies of Liberty drop pretense and take actions without bothering to make excuses to the public, because they do not fear reprisal, you will know they are ready to go hard.

I've repeated that premise several times, the first was on election night, 2012. 

We've seen many examples since then, and right now on the front page of Drudge are headlines that paint the picture very clearly.

Do not think it is coincidence that the "deal" with Iran, and the subsequent, nearly immediate "release" of about $8 billion to the Iranian Government, happens at the same time as Jerusalem is back-handed and the Catholics are insulted to their core with the announcement that the US Government will be closing the Embassy to the Vatican.

Allowing Muslims to continue chasing nukes, giving them money, while attacking and alienating Jews and Catholics.

Optics.

Dropped.

One thing you have to admit about this administration: They told us before they were elected that they intended to transform the nation.  It may be the only honest thing they have said since - but they warned us.

I continue to believe the 2014 elections are important to those who mean to be our Masters.

They want the "mandate" that would come with a US Senate that remains D and able to rubber-stamp with a simple majority.  They want a US House of Representatives in which Nancy Pelosi is restored to Speaker.

That is an optic they want, badly.

If they get it, they will go hard soon after.

If they don't get it, they will still go hard soon after - because they will then have only 2 years left before a "peaceful transition of power" is on the calendar, an event that probably is not on the current menu.

But I am betting they want it badly enough to wait, to hold the whip without cracking it across the public back, to see if they can get the elections. 

That means - you have just over 11 months...at best.  Then it will begin to get seriously ugly.

Hearts & Minds: The Guerrilla Perspective

I write about topics that are considered too hot or risky for many writers.  I try to write in plain terms, with little in the way of "code words".  An attorney for a publishing house would never approve the content of this blog, for fear of a .Gov lawsuit for, at worst, perhaps, a case of sedition.  Of course, anyone who reads my words with any intellectual honesty knows I do not advocate sedition - I advocate .Gov that operates within the restrictions and permissions of the DoI, USC and BoR.  Remaining intellectually honest, readers will have to admit I have never called for gratuitous  or immoral violence in pursuit of political goals.  I do advocate for self defense against unconstitutional behaviors.  Of course, intellectual honesty hasn't been a genuine part of our judicial system for hundreds of years, has never been a universal trait of our Countrymen, and it won't start on my behalf.

I am still on the porch.  I remain on the porch by choice.  I think I can do more good from here, for now, by following my current path.  I've said this time and again.  I know that right now, leaving the porch and following a path of violence would be counter-productive, and lonely as hell, within the existing paradigm in America.  It would also follow the Dorner model pretty quickly, and I'd end up a crispy critter without achieving anything that advances Liberty.  I agree with the majority of this audience who answered the poll at right, that the forces of Liberty have already earned the moral right to begin defending themselves on a wide scale.  But from a practical standpoint, FreeFor hunting parties simply aren't a viable option at the moment.

Hearts & Minds is a topic that always stirs emotion among Patriots.  Everyone draws their lines at different places, for differing reasons, from morality to practicality.  I'm not really looking to start yet another discussion on the topic, angels on the head of a pin and all that, but I do think it is important that I articulate my thinking on the topic for the 93% + of my readers who are on the same page as me.

Back to intellectual honesty, anyone who has read my Doctrine on Self Defense and remains intellectually honest won't need this articulation on Hearts & Minds.  But for the folks who have taken the decision to reject intellectual honesty, you know, those folks who point to my Self Defense Doctrine and cry "K wants a genocide of all D and Establishment R voters!!!" and "K says kill the babies!!!" need a bit of pushback for the record.  So, for the record: I do not advocate genocide against voters.  I could support spaying and neutering most of them, but not genocide or even violence on an individual basis based on political philosophy.

I do believe that wide-scale political violence in America is inevitable and imminent, because Bad People want wide-scale physical political violence in America.  But that doesn't mean it is prudent for the guerrilla who seeks DoI/BoR Liberty to have a "Kill 'em all & let God sort 'em out" strategy.  If a guerrilla starts hunting the 95% + civilians who are ideological enemies, then all civilians begin to feel they could be next, and the guerrilla gets pushback that can't be overcome.  Not only will the civilians you oppose begin to fear and then mobilize against you, but even the small number of civilians who support you will begin to fear tit-for-tat strikes against them, so it is in the interest of all civvies to work together to shut you down.

If a guerrilla hunts the enforcers of unconstitutional laws, like a domestic standing army, that group will respond just as the civilian group would respond - they will first feel righteously indignant, they will circle the wagons and try to go hard in reprisal mode, and if guerrilla forces apply enough pressure, they will eventually do as they have done time and again historically - they will take off their uniforms and go home when it gets too expensive to show up for work.  They will leave their political Masters without tooth or fang.  Might the civilian populace turn on the Liberty guerrilla for hunting enforcers of the State?  Of course they will - those same people who stand in opposition to your ideology now will be against it when you attack.  But those people are never going to approve of your Liberty, no matter how you go about Restoration.  The key is to do nothing that brings the civilians off the bench.

Personally, I am with the vast majority of this audience who voted on the polls at right.  I don't give a whit about what the average FSA parasite or Leftist/Marxist/Communist politician or voter thinks about me - they will never agree with me anyway, so fugg'em.  But it simply isn't practical to do anything that would make a group of people that is otherwise out of the fight to get motivated and into the fight against you. Take measures that keep them out of the fight - which means you don't turn off their electricity in summertime and make them hot and cranky.  In fact, you may want to ensure no one turns off the electricity.  When your ideological enemies outnumber you by 93% or more, you do not make them afraid to send their children out of the house.

In any guerrilla action, as the definition at the top of the page explains, the primary fight is with the force-projection assets of the enemy and support elements.  I suggest it also extends to the symbols of the enemy for morale and psychological wins.  If a guerrilla force takes the ability to wage war away from enemies, the guerrilla wins.  If the guerrilla makes the enemy choose to stop fighting, the guerrilla wins.  Once the guerrilla force takes the fight out of the enemy, then they can work on the parasite and predator issues of society.

So, the next time you read that Kerodin wants to kill 'em all, you will know you are reading a person who has taken the decision to deliberately distort my position.
