OMG!! Facebook is closing end of Feb??!!

Well, at least NSA will get a few days off, too...

Please tell all your Liberal friends.

Here's the story.

Choose where, and how, you intend to defend Liberty...

MRAP - Even in Idaho
Do you believe that it is acceptable to take the possessions of one man, by threat of prison, violence and/or death for non-compliance, to give those possessions to another man?

It is a simple question.  It is the fundamental question facing Americans today.  Does any man have the right to take a loaf of bread from your pantry, without your consent, and give it to someone else?

This is the question that will be asked and answered during the coming Liberty Games.

Another question that will be asked and answered during this coming period of history is: Who owns you?

Even Idaho is suffering from the disease of communism/progressivism/Leftists as politicians and bureaucrats have migrated from liberal California, Washington and elsewhere to impose their disgusting worldview on solid, good, decent residents of Idaho, using the force of government to get their way.

Preston is a small town (population ~ 5,000) in southeastern Idaho, and the police chief has an MRAP for his force.  We were all warned about permitting Standing Armies in the republic.  Benewah County in Idaho is fortunate to have a Constitutional Sheriff (and were smart enough to elect a Constitutional candidate.)  The folks of Preston are not so fortunate.  In the story linked below you will find a link to Idaho House Bill 367.  Read it.  Understand that even Idaho is under attack from anti-constitutional forces by people who have managed to get into political office.  HB 367 was sent back to committee by a few patriotic (or maybe just less-progressive) politicians, but it will surface again, either in this form or a slightly modified form.  The Enemies of Liberty never stop, they never abandon the grind of their slow usurpation of Liberty.

Idaho is one of the very few States that can still be saved, where a real defense can be mounted.  The Left does not, yet, have full control of the politics in the state.  But they are trying.  They will continue.  They will find allies like Preston police chief Geddes.

There is no place in America you can go to escape the intentions of the communist filth that has been perverting our republic for generations.  There is no place to which you can retire and be free of the Left.  Some places are better and safer than others.  Some places have advantages for those who mean to keep Liberty alive.  But there is no place you can go to escape the coming fight - for the Enemies of Liberty mean to conquer every acre in America.  The Enemies of Liberty mean to take the bread from your pantry and give it to people who refuse to work.  The Enemies of Liberty mean to have you bend knee - or they mean to kill you.

The Enemies of Liberty mean to be your Masters.

“There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters”

Thanks to Alan for the link.

Wherever you may be in this country, resign yourself to the reality that men mean to be your masters - and decide how you intend to respond.

There is going to be a fight.  Let's win.

One more quote from Daniel Webster that is particularly relevant: “If all my possessions were taken from me with one exception, I would choose to keep the power of communication, for by it I would soon regain all the rest”

TL Davis

Enemy of Liberty - just one man of many in our history.

TL explores Marbury v. Madison.

Jefferson and others should have gone to rifles right there and then.

They didn't.

The war between Liberty and those who would be Masters did not end at Yorktown.  As we have today, it was then: Too many people in the "Liberty Sphere" are collectivists, they simply want to be the guys at the top of the food chain.  Think Hamilton.  If you and I make the same mistake and call such people today "allies", we will do as our Founders did - simply swap Masters.

Rightful Liberty is the only acceptable goal.  How we choose to perform necessary administrative and defensive tasks after Rightful Liberty has been established, as a group, is something we can discuss later.  But we'd better be careful who we allow to be part of such conversations.

Here's TL's piece.

III Comms: Radio Minimalism

Karl Denninger: And you thought the people that were talking about a Communist takeover of the United States were tinfoil-hat wearers.......

Why link to KD on a post about Comms?  Because when even KD, a man well-grounded in reality with zero patience to suffer stupidity, points to communists as our underlying problem, you'd better gird yourself that the skills offered by Sparks and Max and JC and Mosby and DTG, and the tools built by III Arms, Elecraft and Cold Steel and PNW, will play a role in your lifetime.

Gear up.  Train up.  Accumulate as much as you can.  Learn as much as you can.

You happen to be alive at a point in time that History will remember, poignantly.

Will you be another survivor who regrets not having armed yourself, or not having challenged the boot steps in the hall in the middle of the night, just hoping the Bad People choose to visit another apartment, one of your neighbors instead of you?  Will you simply hope to be eaten last?

Will you instead find your name posthumously written alongside John Parker or Jefferson?  Will you be one of the unknown many who fought for Liberty without ever making it to the history books?

If you intend to Shoot, Move and Communicate, you'd better be working on those skills right now.

Sparks has linked to a post about a radio kit that will suit many Patriots - it is highly functional, with a small footprint, and components well-suited to fit in your Go Bag or ruck.

Here's the link.  While you are at Signal Corps, look at his training schedule and locations.

Get some.

III Arms Company: We control the horizontal and the vertical...

III Arms 1911 #4
Do not believe your eyes.

The pictures you have been seeing must be hallucinations.  After all, III Arms was never anything but a scam, a joke, some sort of provocateur's scheme.  Right?  That must be the truth, for it was said by - well, you know who said it, and how many chimed-in and piled-on.

Jim Miller has been building and delivering finely crafted Fighting Arms for III Patriots for months now.  Reviews have been outstanding.  He continues to satisfy orders - if you intend to enter the coming Liberty Games with a III Arms firearm on your hip or in your hands, I would suggest you get your order on Jim's workbench ASAP.

I wonder if any of those who have been proven wrong about III Arms, Jim Miller and the others involved, will ever admit it in public and apologize to Jim and the others.

That would be nice.

Here's the link for more pictures

IFF & Reality

Start with Sparks, he's got a review of a new Uniden scanner, and this piece on IFF.

Then go here to WRSA and simply go piece-by-piece, CA has strung together a collection of pieces that should help anyone who has not yet resigned himself to the fact that the war is already begun reach a realistic state of understanding.

Finally, do something that improves your position - even if it is simply relaxing with your family to remind yourself why we do what we do.

Remember perspective: Marconi sent his wireless transmission across the Atlantic just 113 years ago, the Wright brothers flew in 1903 - 111 years ago.  John Browning's 1911 is now just 103 years old.

The only Constant is Change.

Are you truly a Minuteman?

At this moment in the suburbs of DC it is 16 degrees and snowing a very fine curtain of white that is being whipped by the wind.  At this moment in St. Maries, Idaho it is 29 degrees and snowing a bit here and there.

If you had to go, right now, and grab your nearest Go Bag and head out the door into an unknown Ruckus, a fight that may keep you from returning home for at least 72 hours, how would you fare?  Could you muster in a Minute?  Got what you need to stay warm and fed and in fighting condition?

Consider the cold factor with some good counsel from Defensive Training Group.

The goal is to be ready, to be a Minuteman, yes?

How far does the sound of a dying sentry travel on a quiet night...

Mosby has a good column about the realities of taking out an enemy sentry, or otherwise trying to kill someone quietly.

It is NOT as you have seen in the movies.  It never was, never will be.  It is messy and always more noisy than you would like.  Sticking a man with a knife does not mean he is going to crumple in a silent and lifeless heap, even if you go into his neck.  The image above is a Maldives SF trooper applying a piss-poor rear choke - and while I would stay away from the Maldives for training, the concept that Mosby seems to settle on as most practical is my choice as well - get close and then go to work by getting your target into some form of submissive technique, THEN kill him.

I am smaller than most guys.  Even if I succeed in getting a good rear choke in place on an unexpecting sentry, he's probably bigger, stronger, faster, younger than me and my best choke will take at least 3 seconds before he goes to sleep.  If I choose a rear attack and choke, I am going to couple it with a foot to the back of his knee to bring him down as I choke.  He is going to thrash and kick - every student in my classes can attest that even a good choke gives the other guy a few seconds to escape or thrash or reach for a pistol.  On a quiet night when his buddy is just 40 or 60 yards away, even 3 seconds of that noise is more than anyone would like.

Just to complicate matters, next time you train CQB with your Team, try applying a rear choke on someone who is wearing a combat helmet.

Here is Mosby's piece.  As usual, well worth the read.
