CZ75 B SA vs BHP
Anyone have any first-hand experience with the CZ 75 B SA?
If you have any experience with the Browning Hi Power as well I'd appreciate any side-by-side comparisons you may have.
**UPDATE** Here is Zoomie's CZ 75 B review. I'm diggin' the Massad Ayoob perspective, too.

Russian Troops on Alert?
ZeroHedge is reporting a single-source report that Russian troops bordering Ukraine have been put on high alert following the takeover of 3 Ukrainian Admin buildings in 3 different cities. ZH claims the takeover of buildings was "...largely unexpected..." - they obviously don't read this blog.
Thanks to WiscoDave for the heads-up.
Here's the link.
Yes, folks - this is directly relevant to your life. I'll work on a post to draw the connections this week. In the meantime, if you do not have preps that anticipate a foreign presence in our coming Liberty Games - work on it.

Heh...
A few hundred unarmed people take over Government buildings in eastern Ukraine. No shots fired, as yet. Of course, Vlad has many soldiers within an easy drive. The folks taking over the buildings are demanding a secession referendum to join Russia. Here's the link.
The Ukrainian Government blames Putin for the takeovers, of course. Here's the link.
Meanwhile, proving that American Politicians are embarrassingly behind the curve, our Defense Secretary warns China not to take Senkaku as Russia took Crimea. He says it won't be tolerated. The PRC has not yet responded publicly, but we suspect the official response will be something like: "Blow me." (Ya gotta hear it in Mandarin to be even funnier) Here's the link.
Proving that Americans have nothing to worry about regarding domestic politics and the future of Liberty in the republic, estimates put about 3,000 people (many from out-of-state) at the Saturday 2A rally in Hartford to protest Connecticut's draconian gun laws. Estimates put the number of new felons in CT at 100,000 or so - people who have banned weapons who have not registered them. Gun owners in Connecticut obviously care. WRSA update here.
In unrelated news more than 10,000 people packed the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion just outside of Hartford to watch a basketball game not even being played in Connecticut.
Absolutely unrelated news: The current US Government continues to shut down essential weapons programs. Tomahawk and Hellfire systems are going. Now the administration has announced the A-10 Warthog program will end, leaving ground support of troops to F-16 jockeys. Here's the link. And remember, none of this is related to anything...
God save the republic - because most of our countrymen don't give a sh*t.

Intellectual Honesty
This Liberty Movement, if it is anything at all, is a collection of Americans who declare that they are possessed of solid principles and a strong moral compass. We dare claim the moral authority to stand and demand our individual Liberties, and Liberty for our Countrymen. We insist that we are better than those who lie, cheat and steal for personal gain.
Maybe one has never robbed a bank. Perhaps the Patriot next to you has never raped, pillaged or plundered. It is possible the Patriot on your other shoulder helps old ladies across the street, adopts rescue shelter shelties, goes to church every Sunday, and never backhands his wife.
But, does he have the mettle to never lie? Does he have the moral balls to apologize when he makes a mistake? Does he have what it takes to lose a friend over Principle? Does he refuse to cheat?
It is the little behaviors that inform us about the heart and soul of a man.
Miss Violet counseled: When a man shows you who he is, believe him.
When a man tells a tiny lie, he is telling you he is a liar.
When a man stabs you in the back on some trivial matter, he is telling you he is an untrustworthy soul, never worthy of your trust.
When a man cheats at the poker table he is telling you he is, at his core, a cheat.
Believe him.
When a man holds you to a higher standard than to what he holds himself - he's showing you that he is a hypocritical PoS.
Believe what you see with your own eyes.
If you truly consider yourself to be of a caliber better than our politicians, our banksters, our Liberal/Marxists, live it. A man willing to be dishonest on a small scale will be dishonest on the big things, when it suits him. A Patriot should publicly chastise, shame and shun his "allies" when they reveal themselves to be of suffering character. Such men are as detrimental to our Founding Values as is the avowed Marxist. Indeed, I have more respect for a Marxist who is willing to claim the title, than I do for a cheat or liar. At least the Marxist is honest. That is no trivial trait.
Walter Zoomie is a genuine Patriot, and the artwork he has provided for us over the years is an essential aspect of our collective propaganda efforts to delegitimize those who would be our masters. You may think stealing his artwork and modifying it without credit is a small matter. But men reveal themselves in the small matters.

Washington finally catches up to this blogs counsel...
![]() |
| The guy who makes China and Russia tremble...not. |
Russel said the retaliatory sanctions imposed on Russia by the United States, the European Union and others should have a "chilling effect on anyone in China who might contemplate the Crimea annexation as a model."
So, the brains inside the beltway have finally begun to consider that Crimea may not be an isolated incident.
Indeed, even a mouse disregards a dead eagle. Dragons and Bears give it no notice at all.
Patriots, you should resign yourself to the understanding that when Americans begin to fight one another, we will eventually, at some moment, find ourselves facing soldiers who fight for the Dragon, and/or the Bear.
I don't care if you think I am wrong - but please prep as if I may be right.
Here's the piece.

Stupidity: Showcased yet again...
One of the benefits to a full-scale scrum is that the gene pool is often cleared of stupid people.
What's worse than stupid people? Manipulative people who pray upon the fearful for coin.
Some people stir the sh*t simply because generating fear is good for the profit statement.
The blogosphere is buzzing with the latest bit of stupidity to be thrust into the debate. Whether the people peddling this are doing so because they are stupid or because they enjoy a sales rush when fear is stoked - you can decide for yourself.
The Daily Sheeple ran a story written by a guy named James Smith, titled: Is the VA preparing for violence against veterans?
I read it, had my doubts, and asked someone I know to comment. This person is inside that organization, and moreover, handles contractors and purchasing among other duties. He knows what he's talking about.
Here's the simple reality: The VA has many departments, and each of those departments has a bank account from which it buys goods and services needed to carry out their assigned mission. If Department X has a money surplus (The first law of Government Budgeting - spend all your money or you'll get cut next cycle) and Department Y is running low and needs widgets, sometimes Department X will place the order and take delivery of the widgets, then have the widgets sent to Department Y down the hall on a hand truck.
When you hear someone floating a story as foolish as the concept that doctors, nurses, orderlies, technicians, support staff are buying ammunition so they can shoot veterans, you know you are listening to someone who is trying to sell you something. A quick glance at The Daily Sheeple website suggests they may be trying to sell you preps.
And if you truly believe that doctors, nurses, orderlies, technicians and support staff mean to kill the people in their care, and you think they need bullets to do it, you should ask your doctor to increase your meds.
Here's the link to the original story.
Patriots: Please bitchslap stupidity when you find it trying to creep into our community.

Connecticut: As it happens
If you could not be there, or chose not to be there, you can still monitor events in near-realtime.
Follow Concerned American's feed at Twitter, Here.
My first observations: Not many rifles per capita. Some open carry handguns.
Concealed carry? Beats me. I would like to think everyone there is packing concealed. However, I would never ask. I would never put an ally on the spot to force him to admit to a crime, or lie to me. That is simply not how Patriots treat one another.
Godspeed to everyone on he ground.

When you read that EPA poisoned Citizens...
You have to remember that "Government" is not the perpetrator.
"Government" did not poison your Countrymen.
"Government" is not a tangible you can punch or shoot or put on trial.
Human Beings, individual Human Beings, authorized, condoned and executed these crimes.
In addition to the Human Beings who turned on the gas or closed the door of the room in which experiments we conducted, there were scientists collecting and assessing data, there were secretaries who made it possible by moving the paper that made it all happen. There were technicians who made the experiment equipment work. There were politicians who funded the organization. There were people who helped elect those politicians. There were people in your neighborhood who voted for the politicians who voted to finance these experiments.
Every single Human Being in that chain violated their oath.
Every single person in that chain violated basic Human decency.
Don't waster energy swinging at strawmen like "Government".
If we swing at smoke, we will lose.

They mean to be Masters...
The NYTimes has run a piece explaining how our LEO are facing more and more mentally ill people, which is why they have to shoot more people. Those poor, poor policemen in ABQ had to kill that homeless guy, because he was a whack-a-doo.
This is what we call cover fire. It's a technical term, use it carefully.
Killing whack-a-doos is something the NYTimes and their allies think is a necessary evil to save the country. After all, according to the NYTimes Club, it isn't just homeless guys out camping in ABQ who are whack-a-doos. Those obstinate people afflicted with ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) are whack-a-doos, too. And those Bitter Clingers are whack-a-doos. So, when our brave, strong, defenders of the public are forced to kill any whack-a-doo, it's a goodness thing.
They are providing cover for future events, folks. There will be mission creep in this killing of the mentally ill, to soon include justifiably shooting you - because you are a whack-a-doo in their eyes.
They are laying the ground. Here's the NYTimes piece.

| Just say No to the Thin Blue Line, from Zoomie |
This is a big deal. I've discussed it before and my position is clear: Calling this convention is War.
Some of the Useful Idiots truly believe they can enter an Article V convention, prevent it from running away, pass amendments that will force politicians to abide the Constitution (ignoring the fact that politicians already ignore the Constitution, and that new amendments will simply give them more to ignore) and save the republic for Liberty without violence.
I feel bad for that level of stupid being in the hearts of otherwise well-meaning Countrymen.
But make no mistake: The politicians clamoring for an Article V convention know they can go beyond the stated intent of the convention, propose amendments that will gut the meaning of the Founders under the veil of legitimacy, then begin to slaughter their political enemies. Does anyone think they won't get 3/4 of the state legislatures currently in place to vote for anti-2A amendments, anti-1A, anti-4A, et cetera? The ballot box will not stop sitting politicians from voting Yea. They know they will not be re-elected - but they will be taken care of by their allies. Remember how they passed ObamaCare? Same-same.
Here's the piece on the Congressman. Here's the link to one of the most established groups calling for Article V.
I do not mind putting this tripwire out in public: The moment an Article V Convention convenes, I have no reason to remain on the porch.

S.T.U.P.I.D. or...
NATO and Ukraine are going to hold joint exercises.
Is this pure stupidity, or is this a calculated move to put a WWIII trigger in place?
Our two world wars have been triggered by much less significant events - an assassination, and a mutual defense agreement.
As readers know, I have held for years that the actions being taken by this administration are far too effective at destroying America to be simple stupidity.
This comes a week after the administration announced it was killing both the Tomahawk and Hellfire programs - without having a replacement. Here.
Decide for yourself.

Enemies Foreign & Domestic: 2A Fights SitRep
A comment on one of our blogs from a Patriot on the ground the other day warned that tensions in NM were running high.
Yesterday, it appears things went hot, instigated by NM LEO. Brock has the information, here.
Meanwhile, as expected, New York has telegraphed how they will play their confiscation game - attrition. Connecticut will likely follow. I've spent some time hunting for any signs that the general populace in CT supports confiscation, that anyone is out on the streets beating the drums. I came up empty. The only people agitating for a fight in CT are politicians and paid Useful Idiots. For Patriots looking for a 2A fight into which they might wade, look at New Mexico.
I have spent most of my blogging time in the last few weeks to keep Patriots informed about the dangers abroad that will have an impact on our domestic troubles. Ukraine and Senkaku are not benign regional politics.
...and Korea has now gone hot, here. Remember, no significant action takes place from the North Koreans that is not sanctioned by PRC. The wise Patriot looks at the entire board. Keep an eye open and let's see if more Sino-Russo satellites begin acting out...
If you focus on any domestic activity in a vacuum, and do not understand that CT is directly related to Ukraine, you are not being prudent, and you are leaving yourself open to an unseen sucker-punch.
It is all related.
Prudent analysis will provide you with more than enough high-drama. You don't need to make shit up. Bad analysis leads to sky-is-falling stupidity. Kenny has an example, here.
Many good people will die in our imminent Candid Exchange of Views. Many, many stupid people, and those following stupid people, will perish as well.
I would suggest you all begin to rely upon your own counsel.

NC PatCon: Who's going?
Are you planning to attend?
Holly and I will be there. We'll be teaching Fight to Your Weapon on Friday. If you have already taken the course, you attend free. If this will be your first time, the fee is only $208, and 1/2 is donated to Brock for the event. Send him your fee with your attendance check.
After our class, Grenadier1 will host a primer on working AirSoft into your training. I strongly recommend that you sign up for this course. Ammo is expensive and this will allow many people to spend more time in the field, actually training. Details are at Brock's, linked below.
Personal note: I have been sparse with details about H and my schedule and travel plans: After Brock's PatCon we will soon be heading to Idaho to join the III Patriots who have already moved to the Citadel Redoubt, and those who will be joining us over the summer. Our studio will be open before our Idaho PatCon.
Back to Brock's.
Major Wolf is attending, here.
Israel is attending, here. I know he'll be accompanied by our ally and III Patriot Lewis Wetzel and his family. I know CA is attending. David from NCRenegade will be there.
This is only a handful of the quality, serious III Patriots who will be there for you to meet and grow your contact list.
Here's Brock's link. Meeting this man is worth the trip, every single time.
See you there.

On Thursday, 10,000 Russian troops began a drill simulating the massive use of nuclear missiles.

American Foolishness: Double-down on Senkaku
America already has a long-standing agreement to spend American lives and treasure to defend Japan if attacked. Instead of doing the right thing, the smart thing, and refusing to renew that agreement, American politicians are doubling down.
America is pushing for a new panel to operate within the existing paradigm, that will specifically focus on the Senkaku Islands. Instead of ramping-down, without Japanese requests, our side is escalating the Senkaku issue. The current American position is simple: If China takes the Senkaku, Americans will fight and die to reclaim them.
Anyone who understands the Asian mind understands that this move from Washington closes a door that might have permitted the Chinese to exit the tension while saving face. Without the opportunity to save face, China may get all into her feelings and decide to say Fuck You and drop troops on the islands. While not to the same scale as cutting off re-supply to Japan preceding WWII, it rhymes.
Here's the link.
Watch carefully. If you have any loved ones serving in .mil in Asia, now would be a good time for them to resign and come home. Dying to decide what flag flies over a few uninhabited islands, many thousand miles from home, is nothing but a waste of Human Life.

Fcuk Me! I have ODD!!
Last year in the wake of Sandy Hook I predicted that Enemies of Liberty would have little success at the national level in pushing more Gun Control. I also warned that they would make a revolutionary push by expanding the list of people who are mentally disqualified from owning firearms through the Mental Illness pool. I was rewarded (sadly) with almost immediate proof. Over last summer the definitions of mental disorders were re-written and expanded to loop-in many, many normal people who simply want to own firearms and dare stand their ground philosophically.
But they went even further and faster, and more brazen, than even I anticipated. Mike C. sends the latest that has bubbled to the surface, and if you still have any lingering doubts about the near-term future the Enemies of Liberty have planned for you, I can't help you.
ODD is "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" - defined as an “ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior,” symptoms include questioning authority, negativity, defiance, argumentativeness, and being easily annoyed.
The American Psychiatric Association has declared this to be, so it must be true.
When you update your lists, be sure to add them, in ink.
Here's the link.
Lest you think this is tinfoil, here's the definition for the layman at Mayo.
Thanks, Mike.
