I'm not asking any of you for any of that money.

I want you to stop drinking soda for a month.  I want you to stop smoking for a month.  I want you to do without a few of those little things you know you can afford to skip for a month - that will probably help your health at the same time.

Then I'd like you to take that money and consider three funding drives that are happening right now in the III Community.  Whether you spread it around or put it all in one place doesn't matter.  You'll be helping in a serious manner.

Clothing, too, was a problem. Long marches had destroyed the men's shoes. Blankets were scarce. Tattered garments were seldom replaced. At one point, these shortages caused nearly 4,000 men to be listed as "unfit for duty."

Undernourished, poorly clothed and living in crowded, damp quarters, many soldiers became very sick. Typhus, typhoid, dysentery, and pneumonia killed as many as 2,000 men...

We need to have a serious discussion.

III Patriots are predominantly Alpha males and walk their own paths in life.

One of the facts with which we III Patriots must accept and remedy is the fact that we are in an existential war for our Liberty, at most three percent of our Countrymen will ever take arms to help us win Liberty for the country.  Indeed, just as they did with the original III Percent who fought for George Washington, the populace was fat, happy and warm and sent no food, no boots, no warm clothing, no powder or ball, to the men upon whom they were relying to win the war.  Do not lie to yourself - it will be the same. They will expect you to defend them, fight for them, win for them, but don't expect much from the "auxiliary".

The III Percent is a collection of independent Patriots.  We have no rank.  We have Leaders - people we will follow - but they are few.  Truthfully, we trust ourselves more than we trust many other people.  The Militia and the III are building bridges, but don't expect miracles before the Bundy Rebuttal.

Now the discussion we must have.  We have all joined organizations at one time or another, groups that promised to fight for X or Y.  I think it is safe to say most of us grew sick of those groups pretty quickly, and found they were not very effective, or didn't pull their weight when they were needed most.  NRA sabotaged Heller.  Oathkeepers sabotaged Bundy.  The list is extensive and disappointing.

But the fact is undeniable: The III Percent needs a steady revenue stream to be able to support III Patriots in the field when it counts.  In the past I have had great success when asking for support for missions such as III Arms, III Radio, III Citadel, IIIGear, and on and on.  You III Patriots have been there when I've asked, and none of those tasks could have been successful without you.  At Brock's PatCon this past weekend many of us, all names you'd recognize, decided on the Liberty Support Teams and the T.O.C. we've discussed here and elsewhere.  Holly and I were able to contribute a good, solid vehicle for the task, as well as a pair of good Honda Ruckus scooters that will help in operations on the ground.  But getting the rest of the gear needed to outfit the T.O.C. and getting III Patriots trained around the country so they can staff the vehicle, requires a hefty investment.  I've asked several times for anyone reading the blog to drop $100 into the general fund, with some great people jumping in.  There is room for more help, and great need for more help.

At the same time, because of the great work done by Sandman, Colonel Yingling, and many III Patriots, we ordered a bulk of III Militia patches for our field wear and gear.  Soon after, Sandman suddenly needed emergency funds.

Instead of me having to hammer for donations when these things need to be funded, I would like to have a conversation with you all about a III Organization.

First note: No organization has the power to make you a III Patriot or strip you of III status.  I would never dream of futzing with the leaderless, independent nature of the III.

But a national organization that collects perhaps $8/month for standard membership, and maybe $12/moth for lifetime membership - with perks such as automatic enrollment in the III Congress, free access to III CQB videos, discounts on all III Gear, customer details and patches reserved for members only, etc - if we had only 1,000 III Patriots enrolled in such an organization would allow us to finance all our needs without the embarrassing act of putting our hands out.

What would be the purpose?  The same purpose we have right now: To recover Liberty in America.  We could formally re-swear our oath, including an addendum that we will never infringe any Patriot who wants to secede or otherwise separate from "the Constitution".

If we had an organization such as that, with only 1,000 people contributing the basic monthly contribution - we could go a long way to having our T.O.C. outfitted, and help Sandman properly in a single moment.

I do not usually ask people to discuss matters here - I usually ask people to head over to WRSA.

But this time I would ask you all to please weigh-in on the general concept of our own organization to finance our own ops, train our own people, provide identifiers like patches and stickers that are only available to our members - with only 1 noble purpose: Restoration of Liberty.

Weigh-in please.  Good feelings, nagging feelings, details or general concepts.

It is in my power, with your help, to make sure our allies never have to fight in the snow in bared feet, or boil the soles of their shoes and bindings of books for soup.

Would you pay $8 or $12/month for your organization, that supports your allies and operations, with no interference from the likes of Stewie Rhodes or Wayne LaPierre.

Hammering for tearing Legitimacy from .Gov

How many of you feel the seething rage every time you see the picture above?

How many of you feel bile rising at how calm LEO is as he sprays his victims, knowing that not one of them would ever dare stand up and challenge him.  How many other badges & guns did he have backing his play - maybe a half dozen.  It was a college campus if I remember correctly.

How many of you hate all those people standing on the sidelines, unwilling to step in - the very definition of good men doing nothing.

We.  Are.  At.  War.

And this III Patriot may just take that pepper spray from Officer Tubby and let him eat a blast until his buddies decide to hand me a beating.  You and I must tear away every scrap of false legitimacy our Master Class drapes about their evil bones, and let ALL of our Countrymen see their Evil and corruption.

We III Patriots are good people, and doing nothing is not an option.

If you and I don't do it, it won't get done.  Remember it was ONLY the III Percent who dared fight the British - no one else was willing to stand and be counted.

Consider the Bundy Timelines

How many days did it take for these First Amendment Area signs to begin receiving play on Liberty blogs?  The III has a plan for that.

How long did it take for these images to get out of Bundy and onto our blogs?  Why were there so few emotionally-charged images?  Why was there only one or two shabbily-shot, badly-mic'd videos of dogs biting people and BLM striking pregnant women, and BLM tasering protesters?  The III has a plan for that.

Do you remember when the rumor circulated that cell towers had been shut down?  The panic swelled across the blogosphere.  And if the cell towers had indeed gone dark, there was ZERO capacity on the ground to continue getting the Truth out of the AO.  Well, the III has a plan for that.

Do you remember the general Cluster Foxtrot of bad information that was constantly coming our of the AO, causing people to chase their tails, and resulting in Militiamen putting scopes and muzzles on fellow Militiamen?  We know for a FACT that happened.  The III has a plan for that.

Do you remember during at least the first week Patriots and Militiamen were rolling into the desert with little more than a camelback or a few canteens and some energy bars?  How quickly did the logistical problem take to bubble to the blogs?  The III has a plan for that.

Do you know how many .Gov employees, automobiles, and other assets were captured on video or stills, analyzed, cataloged for future use, researched to learn names and pertinents?  Why were there so few images of BLM Snipers in their nests?  Didn't happen. The III has a plan for that.

Do you remember the professional, organized protest signs held by the protesters?  Do you remember the professional campaign in the county to hammer the local press, the local Sheriff, the local residents into action?  Didn't happen.  The III has a plan for that,

Some of the above you remember because it took as much as a week before the Truth started hitting the blogs, because there was a complete MSM blackout

You remember other aspects of the above because I remember many people clamoring for it over at WRSA.  "We need to get OpFor Intel!"  "We need to get water and food out there!" "The people there need to get us more video and images showing how evil BLM is behaving!  "We  need someone to take pictures and post lists of all the local merchants who are selling goods and services to BLM and other FedGov on the scene!"

I remember all the complaints.  I had a few myself.

At Brock's last weekend, we quit bitchin' and put a solution in motion.  We acquired a vehicle.  We have a LOT of volunteers willing to show up at future such events and make certain these essential battlespace operations happen.  We came back here and shared the plan with all of you and asked for input, and we asked for some donations to make it happen.

Fighting a war is not free or cheap.

We proved we are genuine III Percent Patriots who will NOT just sit on our hands and bitch and whine and let others work for OUR Liberty while we sit safely in our homes.

Liberty Support Team - F'n Tyrants in the earhole for Liberty!

The post below this one goes into detail about the Liberty Support Team that we discussed at length in North Carolina at Brock's PatCon.  After you read this post, please take a few minutes and read the one below as a refresher.  This is an important topic.  We are at war.  The Enemies of Liberty mean to prosecute this war until they win.  They mean to be Masters.

We III Patriots have our own plans, and bending fucking knee to tyrants is not on the agenda.

The Truth is an absolutely essential element of defeating the tyrants in our midst.  When the Enemies of Liberty can shut down the Truth, when they can keep the Truth from the public, or put their spin on events unchallenged, we lose.  At the NC PatCon many of us began putting gears in motion to ensure the forces of Liberty capture the Truth wherever it may be, charging into Harm's Way if we must, to secure the Truth and deliver it to our Countrymen.

The images from Maidan, from the WWII Memorial, from the Bundy Ranch could not be spun by the Enemies of Liberty.  The Truth is too powerful.  There are III Patriots who are volunteering to go into Harm's Way, wherever that may be, get the Truth and broadcast it to the world.  Some very sharp Patriots are working to put a working plan in place that revolves around the bus pictured above - renamed the "Tactical Operations Center", or T.O.C.  III Patriots will man the T.O.C., go to where the Truth is, get it and broadcast it - and in so doing, throat punch the Enemies of Liberty who mean to be our Masters.

The bus is owned by the III, right now.  It will be painted as you see above - Zoomie was kind enough to make that classic, horrid school bus yellow go away.  This is not an operation that will mature over a period of many months or even a year.  The Enemies of Liberty will be coming for payback over Bundy.  Our plan is to fuck their plan.  We will staff the T.O.C. with a Comms Specialist and all the Comms gear he needs to get the Truth out of the AO.  The T.O.C. will have an Intelligence Specialist, with all the gear he needs to perform his mission.  Secondary to getting the Truth out to the world, the T.O.C. will provide as much support as possible to Militia, Patriots and other allies on the ground.

I said below if every Patriot who reads this blog every day were to dig deep and donate just $100, we could get the T.O.C. fully outfitted, staff trained nationally, and into operation in weeks.  We need this, Patriots.  Whichever side wins the information war will likely with the war for Liberty or tyranny.  We need to outfit the T.O.C. and train Patriots across the country who will staff it during deployments.  This war is on.  This can't wait.

Please support our III Patriots who will go into Harm's Way

This is an important post - please read to the end. - K

"The Bus" was a quick label applied to a concept for convenience.  More than 75% of you have agreed to the mission and the proper, formal title going forward: Liberty Support Team.  This title has been chosen for many reasons, one of the primary being the word "support" - because we are NOT at an event to fight.  That is why we chose against "defense".  We will defend ourselves if it comes to that, but our primary role is supporting Liberty by disseminating the Truth, and supporting the needs of the Patriots on the ground.  We have seen time and again, from Maidan to the WWII Memorial event, to Bundy and many other places, Truth is the weapon the Enemies of Liberty can not defeat. 

The Liberty Support Team is every Patriot who lends his support to the mission - even if that support is moral.  T.O.C. has become the name of "the Bus" - the Tactical Operations Center.  When the Liberty Support Teams deploy with the T.O.C., it is the T.O.C. that will be the nexus of the operations in support of the mission.

The Mission:  In .mil terms, which many of you understand, the mission - The Commander's Intent is highly specific when the T.O.C. deploys with Teams. 

Commander's Intent: To gather intelligence across media formats of activities on the ground and deliver that media to other members of the Liberty Support Team, those Patriots across the country who will have the task of disseminating the intelligence, countering the .Gov attempts to spin, to essentially provide to the world the audio, visual and interviews of the Truth.  The is the Commander's Intent.  This is the "Mission."

There is a Secondary Mission to the Commander's Intent.  This has evolved after much discussion amongst ourselves, including Patriots who were on the ground at Bundy and in October at the Barry-cades event.  At Bundy there was very little in the way of coordination.  Only two full detachments of Organized Militia deployed - everyone else was a concerned citizen, or a Militiaman who came without the official cover of his home Team.  The logistics and infrastructure SUCKED.  We'll provide a limited mess, a medical station, we'll provide III patches, caps and shirts for IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) because so many disparate allies arrived with no way to tell friend from foe.

The Secondary Mission of the T.O.C. and the Liberty Support Teams will be to provide as much support as possible to those brave Americans who arrive with a rifle, a canteen, a few energy bars, and a desire to protect Liberty.  We will provide wifi hotspots, fresh water, showers, tactical radios for all Team Commanders, racks for Militiamen who need to crash in safety, sleeping bags or blankets, phone re-charging stations, and many other "comfort facilities" for the brave Americans who show up at the hotspot with little more than the shirts on their backs.

Also as part of the Secondary Mission in true III manner, we will provide considerable Agitprop in the form of professional protest signs, flags, megaphones, cameras, audio recorders, dog whistles, and more secret squirrel stuff to inhibit the effectiveness of Regime thugs.

We will need to train III Patriots to staff the T.O.C.  Not every Patriot will be able to deploy at every event.  If the T.O.C. is needed in Connecticut or New York, we'll need Patriots who can jump in and get the job done.  If the mission is in Florida and the T.O.C. is in Idaho, we'll need to establish relay teams to drive it across country.  Perhaps a Patriot in Wyoming can meet us at the border and get it to the border of Nebraska, and so on.

This is our mission.

In coming weeks we'll get our medics and comms and Intel Specialists and other experts to weigh-in on specific necessities.  Right now we need to get the financial support rolling for this mission.  I, Kerodin, do not have all the answers - but we've got thousands of people who participate here every day who do have the expertise.  I will lean heavily upon you all, as usual. 

If every Patriot who reads this blog daily found a way to contribute just $100 to the mission, we'd have everything covered in record time and deployments ready to go.  But of course, any contribution is helpful.  Next week we'll begin asking for material contributions - but for now, we need cash.  Please do not let our Patriots suffer the way the original III were forced to suffer at Valley Forge.

You will see this again...

RevWarIII is underway.  I am not going to stop reminding you of that fact.  The moment you lower your guard, you get tagged.

The Stamp Act, which ticked off more than a few Americans, was in 1765.

The Boston Massacre was five years later in 1770.

It would be three more years before Tea was dumped in Boston Harbor in the end of 1773.

Captain Parker and his men met the British about 18 months later in 1775.

More than a year would pass before the Declaration in 1776.

What is the point?  War is not always fighting and violence on every street in every town from the day violence begins until one side or the other is defeated.  Life goes on, often with little impact from the war.  This war will be no different, in many ways.  The first backfist was in October, 2013 when the Barry-cades were returned to sender.  The first time Americans took to arms in RevWarIII was about six full months later, and Lexington Green was in a wash in the desert of Nevada.  Mercifully there was no bloodshed.  Stunningly, for the second time in a row, the first two engagements of RevWarIII, .Gov backed down.  That is NOT an insignificant matter.  Do not think that will go unanswered.

How much time will lapse before the third engagement between Patriots and the Enemies of Liberty?  We can't know.  We do know there are hundreds of potential flashpoints across our beautiful country.  Connecticut and New York seem very possible.  We shall see. Just understand - we are at war even though enemy forces are not engaged in running firefights in your neighborhood - or any neighborhood - at the moment.  In theory, years may pass before the next confrontation - though I personally put zero faith in that likelihood.

I have said time and again that every answer we need was already given to us by our Founders and Framers.  On top of that, they warned us exactly what would happen if we ever failed to do our duty to enforce the limits of the Constitution upon those who would be our Masters.  They warned us.  Here we are.  They also showed us how to rectify the issue. 

I am going to add one caveat.  In RevWarI and RevWarII the victors failed to secure their victory.  In RevWarI too many Tories and Loyalists were permitted to remain among us.  Many Loyalists hid under the new title "Federalists", and our Jefferson's failed to kill them.  In RevWarII the Enemies of Liberty fighting for Lincoln left far, far too many Southrons alive.

The beauty of the English language is the ability to nuance, and to be surgically precise when you wish to be.  Concerned American used the word that you will now hear from me time and again when I discuss the aftermath of RevWarIII: Extirpate.  There is no other solution that is acceptable once the Enemies of Liberty have been routed from the control levers of our society.

Extirpate: verb - to root out and destroy completely.

Every man and woman in America after the field has been won must answer for their sins of violating the Liberty of their Countrymen.  Not slaughter.  Not genocide.  Not even violence in most cases.  But the people remaining in our midst who have demonstrated their willingness to act or support acts of willful violations of the Rightful Liberty of their Countrymen must leave the continent, and return on pain of death.  What of the stupid, uneducated, the people who infringed the Rightful Liberty of their neighbors without truly understanding what they were doing?  Patriots take the time to explain the Evil of the acts.  Patriots demand that the violator swear an oath to respect the Rightful Liberty of their Countrymen, on pain of immediate death for any further infractions.

But, my friends, we can not make the same mistakes that were made in both of our previous revolutions.  We simply can not leave Enemies of Liberty among us to breed and slowly, as Jefferson warned, pervert our country once again to tyranny.  Mercy must not be allowed to be defined as forgiving our errant Countrymen of their sins and permitting them to remain among us only to continue working quietly to undermine Rightful Liberty.

At Brock's NC PatCon last weekend a ground-breaking event took place.  Very serious and influential Organized Militiamen attended and met many of our most serious and influential III Patriots (all members of the unorganized Militia by historical precedent) and we began the work of building an alliance the likes of which has never been seen before in the Liberty Movement.  As Sandman noted in the evening as we all sat together and built trust, there were surely men and women at DHS running about as if their hair was on fire, for they never war-gamed this scenario.

There is no daylight, as far as I am concerned, between III Patriots and legitimate Organized Militiamen in America.  We will continue to build the bonds of trust and support.  We will work together to take dangerous people from the control levers of our society.  Sandman got the ball rolling, make no mistake about it.  For those of you already writing the history of RevWarIII, do not miss that fact.  Sandman trusted we III enough to put his credibility on the line to introduce us to the Commander of a significant Organized Militia.  To say we hit it off immediately would be an understatement.  And not only is Colonel Yingling a serious Patriot, his XO is also a squared-away Patriot.  They have my support.  Period.  We know who the Enemies of Liberty are and we know they are attacking us, right now.   Those attacks are not free.  Count on it.

Stand and be counted, III Patriots.  You probably have a Militia unit within a half-tank of gas from your front porch.  I would ask you to reach out, take the initiative and go meet them and shake their hands.  You don't need to join the unit.  Just let them know you support them.  Then find some way to prove you support them.

You want Rightful Liberty back in America?

It's on us.  The enemy has a plan.  The enemy trains - every flippin' day.  "Law Enforcement" Officers now train in ghillie suits - to snipe you.

We have a plan as well.  LGoPs will restore Rightful Liberty in days, if we move as one with serious intent.

At Brock's PatCon Holly and I were finally able to meet Chris Dodge and his wonderful Significant Other in person.  Chris (he goes by J.C. in the business world) is one of the funniest serious men you'll ever meet.  He has a sense of humor few can match, and he carries himself in a manner that confirms every bit of combat prowess he advertises for his training academy is 100% genuine.

Sign up for a class, meet him for yourself, and you will walk away better than you arrived.  If you are lucky enough to meet Whitney, I guarantee smiles and laughs.  By the way, Whitney is now blogging here:  Mason Dixon Vixen.

You get what you pay for in this world.  I didn't make that rule.  We are all fortunate that we found Jim Miller and he understands that rule - and he will NOT let you go into combat with a weapon that has no place defending the lives of men and their families.

UH-72 Lakota to Indiana

This is one ugly f'n helicopter

One of the things I want to do before I die is learn to fly a helicopter.  The list of things I want to do is longer than I like, headed into RevWarIII - but that's another story.

The above Helo is Eurocopter UH-72 Lakota.  My Gods it is fugly.  But the Indiana National Guard has just purchased two of them.  According to the news report, they aren't just for the Guard.  They'll also be used for "Law Enforcement" and to "...assist in DHS Missions."

Patriots, is there anyone still reading this blog that truly believes we are not already at Civil War in America?

FDA's Views on Freedom of Choice

Here are some of FDA's views expressed in its response on 'freedom of food choice' in general and on the right to obtain and consume raw milk in particular:

• "Plaintiffs' assertion of a new 'fundamental right' to produce, obtain, and consume unpasteurized milk lacks any support in law." [p. 4]

•  "It is within HHS's authority . . . to institute an intrastate ban [on unpasteurized milk] as well." [p. 6]

• "Plaintiffs' assertion of a new 'fundamental right' under substantive due process to produce, obtain, and consume unpasteurized milk lacks any support in law." [p.17]

•  "There is no absolute right to consume or feed children any particular food." [p. 25]

• "There is no 'deeply rooted' historical tradition of unfettered access to foods of all kinds." [p. 26]

• "Plaintiffs' assertion of a 'fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health, which includes what foods they do and do not choose to consume for themselves and their families' is similarly unavailing because plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to obtain any food they wish." [p. 26]

• FDA's brief goes on to state that "even if such a right did exist, it would not render FDA's regulations unconstitutional because prohibiting the interstate sale and distribution of unpasteurized milk promotes bodily and physical health." [p. 27]

• "There is no fundamental right to freedom of contract." [p. 27]

It all tracks with the above FDA position.

Liberty is being murdered - literally - by armies of bureaucrats. 

Those armies are backed-up by armies of LEO, complete with air support.

Those are the facts.  Prepare accordingly.

NC AAR: Hey Regime - F You and your MRAPs

The conversations we have been having since Brock's PatCon, and during the PatCon itself are not academic exercises.  We are all as serious as a heart attack about recovering Rightful Liberty in America.

The Patriots and bloggers who come to this blog and support this blog have a proven and extensive track record of getting real work done, of turning big ideas into reality.  You Patriots and our allies across our piece of the blogosphere walk the walk.

At Brock's NC PatCon one of the primary topics of conversation was about Bundy, what happened - the good, the bad and the ugly - and how we III Patriots can make the next such event an even bigger win for Liberty.  You all know Sandman, Captain of the Ohio Valley Minutemen, an Organized Militia unit with which I have first-hand experience and I assure you they are the real deal.  Sandman and one of his Militiamen travelled to the PatCon because he knew this was to be a working weekend.  Sandman invited Colonel Christian Yingling, Commander of the Pennsylvania Lighfoot who arrived with his XO.  I say with great pride this meeting of Organized Militia and we III - unorganized Militia - proved beneficial for all involved.  Colonel Yingling was on the ground at Bundy and shared incredible firsthand intel.  Sandman had assets on the ground at Bundy as well.  We III had assets on the ground at Bundy as well, at least one of whom was in direct contact with Sandman.  To say that we were able to have an informed discussion is an understatement.

The concept we have been slowly articulating about putting III & Organized Militia Teams on the ground at future Bundy events is for real.  The bus you see above is not something we hope to buy in the future - it is owned right now.  Holly and I bought it several months ago.  We own it.  It is now a III asset.  On the starboard side at the rear it has a hydraulic lift.  Most of the seats inside have been removed, so we have essentially a blank canvas to build our Tactical Operations Center (T.O.C.) for our Liberty Support Teams.

One bit of full disclosure: The body is perfect, just as you see.  The only difference is that I asked our resident magician the Wizard Master Jedi Zoomie to get rid of that gosh-awful school bus yellow and make it a tacti-cool desert tan.  Mission accomplished once again by Master Zoomie.  Once we get to Idaho, we will indeed give it a proper paint job suitable for the mission.

Very soon we'll post a list of gear needed to outfit the T.O.C. and ask for donations.  The Teams who make up the Liberty Support Teams will be going into Harm's Way, and we owe it to them to give them every advantage.  The secondary mission is to provide support to the troops on the ground in the AO, so we will ask for donations along those lines as well.    Because this topic is so important and requires such a large volume of information, I'll be setting up a dedicated blog as we move forward.  I'll let you know when it is up and running.

One final note regarding the Liberty Support Teams.  The people who volunteer to take turns supporting the mission by manning the T.O.C. will not always be available.  One mission may be in the Nevada Desert, while the next may be in South Florida.  Obviously, it will be volunteers who man the T.O.C., and not every volunteer will be able to make every deployment.  So we will need a large cadre of trained Patriots to make up the Liberty Support Team.  There will be training involved.  The mission of the T.O.C. will include comms, medical, logistics, et cetera.  Even in a support role, following experts who may have deployed with militia units, the people we send need to be able to lend some sort of competent assistance.  More on that later.

So Patriots: This mission is a Go.  Holly and I covered the cost of the vehicle.  I wish we had pockets deep enough to outfit the T.O.C. as needed, but reality sucks.  However, the III is made up of many selfless Patriots, and many hands make for lighter work.  In the coming days I'll point everyone to a dedicated website for the Liberty Support Teams, gear requests, et cetera.

SatCom & a mini-rant

Paul L. (Paul - not going to publish your surname unless you specifically ask me to do so ;) sent this link regarding Satellite Comms.  As part of a complete suite, I hope Patriots are working this into their quiver.

Yes, I know this stuff is expensive.  To my Organized Militia allies - I know you hate fundraising as much (probably even more, if that's possible) as do I.  But please, please consider going to your community and remind them how much you do as quiet professionals, and that you need support.  Touch base with your churches, your VFW - you know who is friendly to your mission.  The fact is simple - most of your units are under-resourced and under-funded.  Yet when it is time for you to deploy, there is never a limit put on you by your neighbors as to what they expect you to accomplish.

Dammit - ladders to reach the second-story of a home cost money.  Gasoline in the fuel tanks of your vehicles costs money.  Stanley FUBAR entry tools cost money and may be the difference between saving that granny or her burning to death.  There is NO SHAME in asking your community for support.  I get it - I HATE asking for money.  But without money - or donated items - we will face the same perils George Washington faced.  I f'n refuse to fight in winter without shoes - unless I have to give mine to one of the men at my shoulder.  Let's avoid that paradigm.  Bake sales.  Get a permit for town square and hold a Search & Rescue demonstration.  If you are on good terms with your Sheriff, get him to give a speech.  Pass 2 things to the crowd: 1) An entry form to win a widget.  Make sure the entry form has an email address on it so you can email your community later.  2) Pass the collection hat.

Ok, I'll stop harping.  If you Militia Units need help raising money for your units, email me and we'll work together to put something together.  I find having to ask people for financial help to be repugnant.  But I also know my history - General Washington and his troops were permitted to shiver and starve, while being expected to fight for the Liberty of those who were letting them shiver and starve!

If the repugnant must be done, I can't do it for you, but by damn, I'll do it with you.
