Plows had better be beaten back into swords, folks...

SAN FRANCISCO – The state can remove an out-of-control child from the custody of a parent even if the mother or father is not to blame for the child’s behavior, a California appeals court said Thursday.

OK - everyone say it with me...

Ex...

...pate

And now all at once:  Extirpate.

Kenny has the story, here.

No Worries, American 'fraidy cats! Russia still moves her troops by train!

There will be no solace in knowing I was correct as the world ends.

How they got the base is a lesson in utter stupidity or deep penetration by Fellow Travelers.

How many Americans even in this Liberty Movement snorkle when you say the words "Russia" "China" "Communist" "Red" and/or "Threat" in the same paragraph?  Anyone who does should be immediately removed from your list of "Serious Thinkers".

You have been warned, and there is no crying in baseball.

"Nothing to see here!"

For Fuck's sake.

Evil

Every LEO, every court worker, every reporter. every jailer, every food prep contractor, et cetera, who earned a paycheck as a result of this guy sitting in prison for 30 years while "The State" refused to do a simple ballistics test, deserve to share the same shallow grave.  Do not waste bullets.  Just shove them in and push the dirt over them all.

"Hey, K!  That's the way our system works, man!  It's the law!  Public Safety, you damned Extremist!"

Fuck that.

When even 1 instance of "Public Safety" is allowed to infringe the Natural Rights of just 1 person, the entire system is in jeopardy.  And when it becomes open policy and accepted by the masses - we have America 2015 (and Soviet Russia and Iron Curtain East Germany and Nazi Germany and...)

Evil is Evil, and if you don't know it when you see it, you are of no use to Humanity.  And if you don't see all the small Evils in place that permit the bigger Evils, you are either too stupid or too selfish to breed - so please self-select out of the gene pool.  If you have already bred, call a family meeting and slaughter the fruit of your loins.  It's the Humane thing to do.

Here's the link.

You "Law & Order" folks are a bigger threat to American Liberty than every Red fucker who ever walked the Earth, collectively.  (Heh, see what I did there?)

For Your Consideration

The "broken windows theory" of policing states, roughly, that if police focus on minor, low-level crimes like graffiti, vandalism other public order offenses, that focus helps deter and prevent more serious crimes.

It paid dividends last night when officers from an anti-crime unit stopped a red Chevy Impala for illegal window tint. When the driver could not produce the car's registration and/or insurance, he was asked to step out of the vehicle for more questioning. As he did so, an officer looking into the car saw a knife, opening up the car to a more detailed search. The result of that search? [Emphasis mine - K]

III Society Member & MVT Rifleman: Jim's AAR

The Patriot who won the III Society Scholarship to the first-ever Rifleman Challenge at Max Velocity Tactical did the entire organization, and himself, proud by earning his Rifleman tab.

But it was no walk in the park!  Here's Jim's AAR.  Congratulations, Jim!

From Jim: It was a great weekend.  Not only did I get a feeling of accomplishment by passing the Rifleman standard, but I learned a lot.   Anybody wondering if they want to do it or not next September, get training and go for it.

The III Society is committed to helping every Patriot become as prepared as possible, physically, mentally, emotionally.  We'll have an announcement soon for Society Members who want to be more involved in the direction of the organization.

Good job, Jim.

Live Hard. Die Free.

The Power of the X

AAR: Jon RT (+ PT Tips)

Upcoming Training Schedule

CUTT: Civilian Unconventional Tactical Team.  Max coined the acronym, and I encourage you to think about.  Civilian - we are that.  Unconventional - that is how this fight will be waged and won (or lost).  Tactical - nuts & bolts at the level of trigger-pullers.  Team - without a Team, you are just waiting to die.  CUTT.

Think about the acronym, how Max has structured his training progression, and the awareness that this fight is on you and me.  No one is going to do this fight for us.  We will secure or lose Liberty.  It is that simple.

Also notice how neatly the CUTT lines up with the LGoP strategy.  Small groups of Patriots, operating unconventionally, calling their own shots at the tactical level with only the Commander's Intent binding us all together: Rightful Liberty. For the record: I use the word 'strategy' noting that it is not necessarily a strategy of choice, but of circumstance.  No other strategy can possibly work for FreeFor.  I also happen to think it is a good strategy.

Civilian Unconventional Tactical Team.  You are the cavalry.  When Evil visits your AO, the only people who are ready and willing to face that Evil are you and your CUTT allies.

III Patriot, CUTT & Auxiliary: Shoot, Move & Communicate TO&E

Don't be this guy.

Table of Organization & Equipment.  Forget the 'O' and focus on the 'E' - Equipment.

CUTT: Civilian Unconventional Tactical Team.  (More here)

Several of us have been discussing gear standards, along the lines of Max's standardization for performance in the Rifleman Challenge.  From what we have seen, there is no Field Manual or equivalent to follow.  Most Patriots buy what they want and what they think they need, but have they covered everything in the Shoot, Move & Communicate matrix?  Have they really sat down and noodled-through what an Auxiliary will need to support their AO?  I know some of you have - and some of you have done it damned well.

So let's just jump into this topic with both feet.  What is your personal gear list - gear you consider essential, gear you consider optional that you'd really, really like to have, and then snivel/luxury gear.  Let's do this for the individual Patriot - as you step off your front porch, what does that load-out look like?  What is your gear list for your bug-out (or shelter-in) location?  What does the Auxiliary list look like for you?

This isn't an exercise in fantasyland.  Keep your contributions to what your true gear lists look like - whether you have been able to acquire all of it or not, or if you have bought an entry-level widget with plans to upgrade to something better when you can.

Let's keep this focused tightly on gear needed to satisfy the Shoot, Maneuver & Communicate mandate.  The half-ton of rice at your mountain cabin doesn't make the list.  A surgical kit at the Auxiliary HQ or your Command Post does make the list.  Your choice of pants makes the list.  If you intend to wear armor when leaving the porch - it's on the list.  If you intend to keep armor at your Safe House, put it on your Safe House list of essentials. Your compass preference makes the list.  The Comms suite you want/need at the Command Post makes the list. (Comms is more than just intra-squad radios.  If you intend to talk locally, regionally or even across the continent, what does your suite look like - even on paper if you have not yet been able to acquire everything you consider essential.)

Also include what you have (or would like to have) set aside for the new friends you will make when WRoL.  At the barest minimum a new ally will need a rifle, sidearm, knife, radio and some form of IFF, if he shows up on D-Day +1 and intends to leave the porch with you. What minimums do you have/want to be able to give him?

OBVIOUSLY - DO NOT give away any licensed/patented/trademarked/blood-oathed secret-squirrel secrets.  Do not violate your personal/operational security.  Also, let's not get into gun/caliber debates (of the .45 is better than 9mm variety) - though it is very relevant, for instance, if you intend to carry a .22 for quiet work, then it should make your list.

Let's give it a whirl...

Then we'll see what we can do as a community to help tighten-up and define guns and butter for those of us who are not completely up to speed on these matters.

Badness.

April Fools - or no?

Update: Looks like it was an April Fool's prank, afterall.

Unlike when KD voted for Obama, at least this time he is right.  He is done, at least here on III Percent.

We have no time to suffer people who take this fight so lightly.

Jebadiah Fisher

Related to the premise of the post immediately below - about having sufficient stores for yourself and new friends who will come into your life after SHTF, is the ability to produce food.

You probably already have seed.  You may even have some laid-up for people who will need some.  But seed is very inexpensive, it will help make allies, and it will keep hungry people from killing one another.  Even if you are in the 'burbs and plan to stay there, if everyone of you focus on a different crop, you'll all be in abundance.

The weather this year has pushed back planting schedules in most zones.  Drop into JFGS and replenish what you plan to put in the ground this year.  Buy an extra assortment for yourself.  Add a few packages to your seed vault for that awful day when our world will become ugly, and you are in a position to help allies avoid starvation - with a handful of seeds.

Here's JFGS.

Unarmed Group wants NYPD to Disarm

As Brock notes: This ought to work swell...

New Yorkers - here's a hint.  You have allowed yourselves to be disarmed.  How do you really think it will play out when armed men who mean to be your Masters (the same ones who took away your means of defense) are told in your most stern and indignant tone to disarm themselves?  Will they self-impose a Time-out?  Think they'll sell their duty piece at the next NYPD-sponsored Gun Buyback?

Really, I want to know how you think this will play out.

I could tell you how it will play out - but some lessons in life one simply must learn on his own.

Here's the link. Banner story.

Shoot, Move & Communicate: Fundamentals & Fundamental Logistics

Something very important for Patriots to remember is that every piece of gear you own is, on some timeline, a consumable.  It will wear out or break.  It may even be lost, stolen, captured.

2 is 1 and 1 is none.

For the Patriot in a WRoL world, when Amazon Next Day Delivery is no longer your re-supply infrastructure, and jumping online for the crash course in X or Y is no longer an option, you either have what you need and will need, or you do not.

I hope you are building redundancy into your Liberty Games preps.  I hope you are building more than one location for essentials.  Learn from Zoomie and don't put all your best gear in a canoe and then go down the rapids.  ;)

Also, be careful not to deplete all of your resources on securing the best of the best.  The first priority is to ensure you can shoot, move & communicate.  Before upgrading to Cadillac-Class gear, I would suggest it is more important that you have enough gear to outfit a few buddies/new buddies with the same shoot, move & communicate necessities.  Once you have the fundamentals covered, then you can focus on better gear, or more versatile gear, et cetera.

I'll be the first to admit I am a gear snob in many ways.  I have been through a lot of blades in my life - from knives to swords.  Today I am fortunate that I am able to own a Randall - a knife I consider to be one of the best in the world.  But - I also own MANY Cold Steel GI Tantos, a few KA-BARS. These are cheaper knives (the Cold Steel GI is a simple piece of steel that is inexpensive,. and will kill a man just as dead as my Randall - and it'll work as a field knife as well.)  If knives have never been your "thing" - you have no need to buy a Randall.  You could buy 15 Cold Steel GIs for the same money and have 15 blades you can trust to do "knife chores" in a combat environment.  You'll have many to hand out, or to squirrel away - knives can break, just like any other piece of gear.

The AnyTone TERMN-8Rs we just purchased are a good representation of this philosophy in practice.  I am a complete Comms novice.- I began my martial arts training when several of our Comms experts began their radio experiences in life.  I will never reach their level of knowledge, competence or ability.  Nor is it my goal.  I want to make sure I can communicate effectively with the people in my Tribe, and that they can do the same.  I want to ensure I have sufficient skills to reach out to fellow Patriots a continent away, when needed.

The TERMN-8R suits my entry-level needs on several points: it is inexpensive, especially when you consider how many radios you'd need to buy to cover the same basic modes.  It also has the Frequency Hopping capability (between TERMN-8Rs) that is essentially only available on the Motorola DTR series - a radio that is not as versatile as the AnyTone.  The TERMN-8R gets me (and my Team) onto the Amateur band, while satisfying all those other needs.  I can cut (or grind) my teeth on the TERMN-8R until I am ready to move up into better, more versatile gear.  And when some of my Team "out-grows" the TERMN-8Rs, we can put them on a shelf for the new folks who will be coming to our camp when things get sporty.

The gear you have now is not the same gear you are likely to have at the end of the Liberty Games.  The same applies with your people.  Make certain you approach your role in the Liberty Games prudently, with an eye toward equipping your Team with the Shoot, Move & Communicate basics by any means necessary.  Once that is covered, you can start improving your kit one item at a time.

**Note**  The TERMN-8Rs are due in our shop tomorrow.  Holly and I will get them all into the mail to you by Thursday.

MVT Rifleman Challenge AAR

The first Rifleman Challenge appears to have been an extraordinary success!  Congratulations to everyone who dared to take the challenge, to those awarded the Rifleman Tab and the Vanguard Tab.
And I think we can all agree an outstanding Bravo Zulu! to Max for creating the Rifleman Challenge, doing the hard work of creating a set of realistic standards, enduring the peanut gallery and driving forward to put together a standard for the entire Patriot Community that is worthy of emulation.  When you encounter a III Patriot with an MVT Rifleman and/or Vanguard tab on his kit, you know that Patriot has met a serious standard.

I'm also very proud to share that Jim (in the above picture, far left in that handsome III Cap) won the III Society Scholarship and did us all proud by earning his Rifleman Tab.  Good for you, Patriot!

I hope many more Patriots out there are looking forward to the next Rifleman Challenge, and doing what it takes to get yourself to MVT and earn your tab.

Well done to everyone involved.

We'll post Jim's AAR when it is ready.
