Classes begin in the spring!

1911 & AR Builds: Build your own 1911 or AR (.223 or .308) using Official III Arms 80% lowers, Official III Arms 'Gun in a Bag' (all parts necessary to build your complete firearm!) or bring your own!  Our Instructor will walk you through the process of properly building your own combat pistol and/or rifle.  The best part - no 4473.  The first class will be held at the Jedburgh Academy.  At the end of class you will take home your finished firearm!  Tools, jigs and necessary accessories will be provided. You can also schedule our Instructor to visit your Team in your AO, providing your State laws permit.

Firearms 101/201: Whether you are a beginner who needs proper instruction for loading your first magazine, or work on the fundamentals, or you are a shooter who needs to improve your game so you can confidently enroll in a serious CUTT/SUT program, the Jedburgh Academy is offering courses designed to help.  Hosted at our facility, you and your Team can build the skills needed to confidently contribute to your AO, whether for your personal defense, as a member of your Auxiliary, CUTT or Militia.

Region X FTX: AAR

Sandman & Company recently held a very successful, multi-unit FTX in his Region.

Region X held a similar FTX last weekend.  Their AAR is below.  If you are a Region X Patriot and want to make contact with these folks, drop me an email and I'll facilitate the introduction.

Bravo Zulu to all involved on both sides of the country.  Keep 'doing' and ignore the provocateurs, trolls, losers and Hobbyists who don't have what it takes to hang with you.

AAR follows:

We ended up with 63 patriots participating. 

Multiple groups/units were represented from county militia units to sheepdogs and lightfoot and civilian defense groups all from south of Seattle to south of Portland, Or.  

Most had III among them. We were able to initiate Comsec and set up Baofeng as well as Ham comms for all from above Seattle to south of Portland. We are still working on a Ham net, but should be good to go by December. We have Face to Face allies now, and there was no drama or strife between all the different types of units, as all understood we had the same mission. 

Training was provided by the South Sound Civil Defense Group and was above excellent. They covered a lot in a short time: Comsec, dead drops, various code techniques, Combat 1st aid, Combat trauma and triage, wild edibles for our area, Primitive water filtration and more. 

We did glass house and entry/clearing rooms and then patrol with OPFOR . Everybody got a wound card and during training several were marked as wounded, treated and transported to the 1st aid station back at camp. 

Bonds between Patriots were made and the camp fire time lasted into the early mornings, with everybody rallying again around 0800.  We are working together as separate groups with a common goal. And commitments for further comms and training have been made. All left with more things to do to this end.

A Serious Fast-Draw Sheath

Many of you recognize the KA-BAR fast-draw sheath I have used for a while now.

A local III Patriot has built a similar model, featured in the video above and image below. The hard part for building a fast-draw sheath is making it tight enough to securely hold your knife until it is time to draw.  I have several such sheaths in my collection from notable leather shops that simply don't get the job done.  If you choose a fast-draw sheath, which I define as having no retention straps, you can't afford for that blade to bounce out of your sheath when you run or tumble.  

This sheath hits the sweet-spot!  Watch the video again - I dropped it from nearly 18 inches and again from 12 - and the full-sized KA-BAR didn't budge.  I practiced with it and found it to be lightning fast on the draw.

Blue Skies

The last few weeks have been busy and productive for the III - both for our local AO and for the national III projects in which we are involved.

Local:  The potluck over the weekend was outstanding.  A local Patriot and ally reached out to several Liberty groups in our AO and got us all under the same roof on Saturday. Progress was made - the first steps of coordinating an AO-wide network of cooperation have been taken.  

We've had the pleasure of having a wonderful III Patriot in town for the last 10 days or so, as he closed on his new home.  The group of Patriots migrating to this AO is impressive - as is the group of Patriots who have lived here all their lives... 

If you've been watching this blog, you know we are gearing up for our Fall Construction Phase I as discussed at PatCon.  Vaults and square range improvements are first on the list.  In-town the construction program on the workshop begins late this week.  You've seen some of the capital assets we've had delivered - more in the queue.  There is much to accomplish before the first snow hits!

It is amazing what can be accomplished when you have a competent, motivated Team of Patriots all working together to pull the rope.  As you build your Team - whether Local or National, choose your allies carefully.  I can attest that permitting even one bad apple/quitter/provocateur into your projects can cause headaches.  But such mistakes are not fatal - just maneuver them from your sphere, and get your project back on track.  III Arms, III Society, et cetera all prove you can withstand Bad People, if your project is sound. 

The next two weeks will be just as busy.  Beginning today we have discussions regarding the Jedburgh Academy scheduled, legal paperwork regarding several projects that must be set in motion, construction oversight, inventories to build, and much more.  Several local Patriots are launching new businesses.  We all have full plates.

Get to work, folks.  Tempus fugit...

Only Ones & the III

David Codrea coined the 'Only Ones' phrase.  In recent weeks and months we have seen the 'Only Ones' attitude appear in the III community from particular quarters.  The slaps at Militia and non-.mil and are quite illustrative.  This is only one avenue of attack currently being employed against the III in attempts to create divisions and damage morale and cohesion.  

If you have any doubts that the III as an entity is under a coordinated and financed attack, simply increase your altitude and look at recent events from a sufficient height.  Use your objective lens to see the Alinsky tactics being employed.

The 'Only Ones' attitude is repugnant to most of us.  In addition to the attacks upon the III, the news has been filled over the last several months with the fallacy that American LEO are under attack.  Enemies of Liberty are using that fallacy to push for everything from more gun control to a campaign against 'hate groups'.  Make no mistake, you are considered part of a Hate Group.  You are considered as someone who needs to 'be dealt with.'

I'll take just a moment to pierce the 'LEO are under attack' meme.

Most Americans like deer.  They are attractive animals.  Cute, even.  You'll be hard-pressed to find an American who doesn't like Bambi.  They are herbivores - they do not eat children. They are not scary. The biggest problem we have with deer, as a society, is that they eat our gardens and are a hazard when we drive.

We like deer in America.

And a small subset of Americans kill millions and millions of the critters every single year.  A quick scan of annual harvest numbers across the country suggests at least 10 million are taken each year for the freezer.  The harvest in just 3 states (Michigan, Texas & Idaho, as a random sample) exceeds one million deer each year.  We shoot them with pointy sticks that make them bleed out, and with devastating bullets that shatter their bones and rip their flesh.  We slaughter them.

And we like them.

There are just about one million badges and guns in American LEO.  

Just how long do you think the Open Season would need to be to harvest a million or so bad Americans enforcing Tyranny upon their neighbors, if even a tiny minority of people decided to go hunting?

126 LEO were killed in 2014.

LEO: If Americans ever decide to hunt you, you will not lose 126 per year.

You'll be extinct in months.
