Balko: What Does It Take for a Cop To Get Fired?


Americans pride themselves on judging each person on his own merits.

But sometimes, survival doesn't permit us the time to learn what we need to know about the individuals who enter our lives, and we must rely on our instincts, stereotypes, and experiences.

Here's a bit of advice: LEO is filled with Bad People who do not care a whit for the Constitution, or you. That is a prudent default position.

    Getting fired is the best thing could happen to em. The "good ones" gotta make.a deal with the devil too. Get fired, or fulfil their oath and quit. Like that's gonna happen

    The question should be: what does it take for a cop to be fired upon?
    There are no good ones far as i'm concerned. The ones that were,from our youth,are all gone.
