Sovereign States?

Governor Jan Brewer has the opportunity not found in every generation, an opportunity to earn a place in American History aside Founders and Framers.

Is the Governor the highest elected official in a Sovereign State, or not?

Is she willing to risk Federal wrath by ignoring the Court and the Executive?

Is she willing to do the job she was elected to do by the people of Arizona?

Is she willing to put her Guard and Troopers at entry-points to the State and deny access by Feds? Is she willing to shut down Fed offices by posting a Trooper at the door? Is she ready to issue an eviction notice to all FedGov employees?

Is she ready to order illegals marched over her Southern border whence they came?

Is she ready to defend her State?

If so, I'll be there.

If not, you folks in Arizona know you need a new Governor.

  3. She would have to also find people willing to go toe to toe with the feds and even in a state like this its not easy.

  4. Roger that wraith. This lady has a unique opportunity to step up and put Arizona (and by example, maybe other states) back.on track. I just got that feeling in my gut tho...she's probably connected, you know

  5. My ass may not be adequately shaped for sitting in the judgement throne on this and I'd much like to remain cautiously optimistic, but why are there always nags attached with any of the people involved in this sort of stuff?

    Council of governors? Check.
Fold at the last minute on promising legislation? Check.

I have had it up to my neck with lip service patriots occupying positions of power in which things could really get going, but it just never seems possible to see it through.

Unless of course the "common good" is defined at the moment as a "yay or nay" on pay raises all 'round. They don't seem to ever have problems sailing that right on through with no snags, delay, or other stomach-turning, obfuscationistly-worded explanations that basically can be distilled to one word for We the Unwashed desperate for some honest, good news..."No".

I'll wait and see. Or maybe not. I don't see myself as a cynic...rather an experienced optimist.

Wasn't there a time that incuded swift hangings for people that took advantage of your honest ignorance of a given situation (either through just plain not being on the privy train or through their active connivance to deprive you of correct information) with the sole intent of shafting you?

Yeah, naive statement, but I'd rather remain what they would call "naive" and be able to look my family and fellow non-sophisticates in the eye than take what gold, loot, and comforts they would offer for me to Judas myself to any degree.

Bite me. As for my house, we will serve the Lord. And it's getting damn tough to endure through this never-ending nonsense.

  6. Brewer....defend state's rights ? Defend Arizona sovereignty ? Tell the bull dyke Napolitano to step to the devil ? Tell the illegal Kenyan soetoro-obama to pound salt ?

NOT IN ONE'S WILDEST DREAMS !
