    1. If he isn't in the right, what's the real story?

    2. Sam It don't matter any more who's right, The Government has gone full retard, The militias are starting to rally and draw ammunition. This is too much like the spring of 1861 (or 1775) and I don't think who- did--what-to-who will be a factor much longer. This thing is taking on a life of its own.---Ray

    3. In my view, there's a legal problem if he was offered 60K. Even if that's not just, the amount would be a civil matter. Others taking the loot doesn't help.

It's still cattle rustling IMO, but that's because I take the odd position that property can't be taken in settlement of a debt unless it was specifically collateralized that way. Almost nobody would agree with that, and so now the cattle become settlement of a debt.

The debt would've been bunk had he not received the offer of compensation from the fed, as his property rights would've remained fully his. In that instance, fining or feeing him out of existence would've been unlawful. It should be in any event, but it happens thousands of times a day. Only real property owners get to make a case of it, and that story goes back to the middle ages.

Property was absolutely taken IMO--his estate in the grazing right--but compensation was offered in accordance with the Fifth. Hey, that's what Restorationists want...someone's gotta decide what's "due process" and "just compensation."

    4. The Bundy Family has been ranching that land since the 1800's and the BLM wants them to pay for grazing rights on public land. the other ranchers have been forced out.

We are not going to protest, though...

It appears that more people ARE ready to muster and head that way. I've also heard from a couple sources from this area that men from around here are ready to kit up and go as well. If .gov is indeed trying to use this to start CWIII, they may just get the fight they're trying to pick this time. Also, in response to the earlier comment, I would really like to know how this man is in the wrong. From what I understand, he had actually been paying the state for grazing rights. Any way you go about it, they are STEALING this man's property. Fuck all of them. In the eye. With a sharp stick.

    1. Morally, there's no issue at all---great guy, great family, property stolen...generations of production being wiped out. Yes, it's everything wrong with this country. That's why for me, I don't care about the details---I'll do whatever I can, including shooting a rifle, that their physical lives are protected.

To me, "No more Wacos" means something.

The problem, especially for Restorationists of which I'm not one, is legal. People are screwed over like this thousands of times each day, and plenty of it ISN'T legal. That's all...the distinction means little to me, but I'm pretty sure it means a ton to those who are heading out there.

In MY head, the issues are clear and the Bundys represent all that is good, or at least socially proper. Govco represents all that is bad, always has in my lifetime. But my head isn't enough cause to start a War and I believe that in the heads of those who are ready to fight, it ought to be clearer. That's all.

If Govco wants to start CWIII, I say bring it.

  4. Place for people to meet if going to the Bundy Ranch! Take I-15 North, towards Mesquite, get off at exit 112. Go right 2 miles (you can only go right). You will see tall flag poles and signs.
