Yup, and there are more of them everyday. We will welcome them as long lost brothers, once they realize who the real enemies are.
They will have bunks, gear, medical care, and the Company of those who value them not just for their skills, but for who they are. I do appreciate 5FDP efforts.
I am personally ashamed for not doing more for these guys. We all must do better in supporting those who are so much like us in constitution and values. How close are any of us to being one of the forgotten? I was lucky when I got out of the Army and got a great job but could it gone another way? Absolutely. I will do more for them.
