Poverty is a business in America
The 19th century statesman John C. Calhoun warned against allowing government to divide us into "tax-payers and tax-consumers." This, he said, "would give rise to two parties and to violent conflicts and struggles between them, to obtain the control of the government."
We have become that country. It can not survive.
Pat breaks down "Poverty" in America, here.

I supported Pat Buchanan back in the '96 in the WA State caucuses. it was my first experience with a caucus state as I had always lived in States with primaries. I enjoyed the experience. I remember one of his campaign slogans was "Don't wait for orders from headquarters, everybody mount up and ride to the sounds of the guns" which came from his victory speech in NH in '96. The original source of the quote may have been Jackson or Stuart but Brock would be a better judge of that.
