“I do think we can do a lot of privatizations, and private prisons it seems to work a lot better,” said Trump when asked how he planned to reform the country’s prison system.
When will we have a candidate who respects the intent of the DoI, USC and BoR?
According to the story, the US is responsible for 22% of the prisoners in the world - while representing just 4.4% of the population on the planet.
You do the arithmetic. America is a Police State - right now.
Regardless of who is elected in November on the national level - that fact will not change.
Police State USA. It will only get worse...
Here's the piece.
People need to be willing to go all-in under threat of imprisonment, if the "law" they violated had no victim. Why "let the system handle it" or "just do the time and get over it"? If there was no victim, there was no crime, and they are kidnappers. One sees his buddy gunned down, or several buddies gunned down, next to him, he might decide to take desk duty. He may not. He may be the next to go down in front of his buddies. Point is, if enough fight back, enough of them die for enforcing victimless "crimes", being a cop may become a highly undesirable profession.ReplyDelete
