Reds across the country think they have your measure - on bended-knee... |
COLUMBIA, SC —
Law enforcement officials from a half-dozen agencies are bracing for possibly huge crowds at the State House Friday for the 10 a.m. removal of the Confederate flag from the grounds.
They also are preparing for trouble. Columbia City Council met in emergency session Thursday night and passed a 30-day ban on all private guns and knives within 250 feet of the State House. - here
Thanks to CavMedic for the update.

The Battle Flag is coming down from your State Capitol tomorrow.
Are any of you planning to do anything about it?
Or, is this not your hill?
Your AO. Your business.

South Carolina was the scene for most of the battles during the Revolution. Two of those battles, King's Mountain and Cowpens were significant to the British defeat in Yorktown. Their militiamen were some of the most courageous and hardest fighters of the war. Many prominent leaders were produced there as well.
ReplyDeleteSouth Carolina was the first state to secede from the Union. They fired the first shots of the Civil War. And as in the Revolution they produced courageous, hard fighters and leaders.
History will record tomorrow South Carolina's cowardice. Despicable. Absolutely despicable.
The biggest problem is that we no longer have many guys like those who fought the battle of Kings mountain-or we have many fewer,or not enough in the area-the fact is no one there in S.C. fought this bullshit in any meaningful way as far as I can tell.
DeleteE-mails and phone calls aren't doing a damn thing any more-no politician is going to listen unless the caller is a guy-or lady- who can cost them hundreds of thousands of votes-or summon large groups of people to protest at every office and every public they have.
We don't count any more as having any representation at the state or fed level from ANY elected official.
And if we don't get some people who will stand up to the bullshit in local offices-we are done, our voices will be drowned out by the mindless kids turned out of the leftist indoctrination camps that have the kids from K-12 plus 4 worthless, expensive years of college. Kids who have been spoon fed leftist,Communist bullshit for most of their lives.
The only small bright spot I can see is this:
Marion county Florida's county commissioners voted to fly the flag again, after some temporary leftist politician had it taken down.
Sad to say, the only reason this happened is Governor Haley is hoping to parlay this into a VP pick for 2016. The RNC will use this as propaganda for 2016. Republicans aren't racist. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhile Nikki Haley is a piece of shit, she's just signing the paper. A whole bunch of other turds sent the paper to her. But the largest responsibility lies with those that know better. They should have fought at whatever level necessary. And the League of the South is a bunch of cowards.
DeleteI don't disagree with you at all Alan, there is enough shame and cowardice to go around. From my perspective, if Haley had not rolled over immediately on this, this may have deescalated early in the game. If she had kept her trap shut this most likely wouldn't have gone to a vote. But no, she's using this to further her political aspirations, just like every other commie politician.
DeleteFrom what I've heard, people rang the phones off the hook of their representatives telling them to leave it up. Nikki Haley did call each rep in her office and had a closed door meeting with them one at a time. It's not technically illegal to do that but still sketchy as hell.
ReplyDeleteOooh, they made " phone calls". Well fuck me three ways and sideways. Then they did in fact confront evil then. Thank you for that report. I was remiss in my criticism. I apologize for my insensitive and unwarranted remarks.
ReplyDeleteBut wait. The flag is still coming down tomorrow, yes? Uh, who's the winner then? Who's the loser?
Just passin info
DeleteOh, I know. I'm not bustin' on ya.
DeleteWell, wait a minute. Do you live in South Carolina?
I live in upstate South Carolina, born and raised in Massachusetts. Sad part is i am more pissed off by this than the people who were born and raised here. I look around and can't believe it. Maybe that's why we won. Just sayin
DeleteAnother shot across the bow. How many will it take?
ReplyDeleteRope 'n Chains 2016
These are not shots across the bow. These rounds are hitting mid-ship on the water line. You won't be able to fight back if all you're doing is trying to get in a life raft.
DeleteMeh, the fair weather has passed, Alan. Let those who wish to depart with it do so now; there is no value in their remaining.
DeleteThe essence of cowardice is that you never know when it will break and flee the battle, until it does so. If this be the moment, then so be it.
I would rather a handful of sure friends in battle, than a whole company of untested and quavering flesh-mounds upon whom reliance is misplaced.
Some were destined to die on their knees, pleading. Pity them their fate but briefly, and then move on, for we have much to do, sir, and but little time remains.
Currahee
For every bit of this bullshit I hear, I buy another case of ammo.
ReplyDeleteRevWar-III is coming. Any who can't see that clearly at this point, are either idiots, or commie true-believers. Both deserve their fate.
My tolerance is gone. My pity is spent.
And my rage, for now, is held lonely in reserve.
But soon the wheels will come off their infernal machine, and we will hunt with all the impunity which good conscience allows...
THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED
...yet they continue their course
and thus their death is their own choice
Not to change the subject, but I will, The Grand Jury in Waco is being chaired by a Waco Police detective? Justice is dead. Get it any way you can.
ReplyDeleteWell, being in Oregon is kind of moot but, I've already put a Confederate Battle Flag bumper sticker on my truck (it's black, I'm not a racist), and I just ordered a Mississippi Flag for the house. It's going to flame my liberal commie neighbors who have to drive by it all the time. Try to ban it, I'll get one, or get more, like the green tip I just packed away in the, well, wherever.
ReplyDeleteBuy extra bumper stickers, put them on their cars late at night... watch as the commies get jumped by their own!
DeleteI think the flag thing may backfire on the communists/marxists/leftists who are trying to re-write history.
ReplyDeleteIt may become a symbol of resistance,it will if more places like Marion county Florida grow a set...

All we can do for now is buy more ammo, buy more food, and if you can't get out of where you are to a better location-do what you can to make yours more defensible-and have a way to get out before you're overrun,in fact-have more than one way to get out.
I know I'm not getting out of here this year-so whatever happens happens-I'm not gonna just give up-that's for damn sure.
Information about flag removal tomorrow: Things to know if you go to Friday’s flag-removal ceremony - http://www.thestate.com/news/local/article26871493.html
ReplyDeleteBarricades set up around front of State House
Large crowds expected Friday morning for 10 am removal
Gervais and Main streets in front of capital closed; private weapons banned
It sure seems like they're looking for trouble to find them, seeing as how they're planning and publicising a big "event" in order to remove it. Why didn't they just quietly take it down after deciding to do so? From up here in the northern latitudes, it looks like they're fixin to rub y'all's noses in it...
ReplyDeleteIt sure does - and telling SC Patriots 'Your 2A is hereby suspended' falls right in line with your rub-their-noses-in-it observation.
DeleteLet's see if RevWarIII goes hot tomorrow...
Massive contrived media circus = Sparklie of Death.
DeleteWatch the other hand...
If the SC State House is in fact a state building and property, how is it that the CITY Council has any jurisdiction to pass a ban on firearms within 250 ft. of said building? Perhaps it's time to start armed protests in front of the politicians homes...
ReplyDeleteJB
qoute "It sure does - and telling SC Patriots 'Your 2A is hereby suspended' falls right in line with your rub-their-noses-in-it observation."
ReplyDeleteCan ye' smell it?
Aye. The mull of many boots, disturbing the dew on the grass of the glen as they assemble...
DeleteI also smell Hopes, and Herters, and Winchester oils, on fine ol' iron ready, to go forth and take spoils...
They have no such legal authority. SC state law reserves the power to regulate the carrying of arms to the SC Legislature.
DeleteJust to provide some accuracy, perspective and light on how evil this event is, listen to this sermon by Pastor John Weaver "Truth about the Confederate Battleflag". If it all kicks off tomorrow it would be a fitting occasion to do it.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.confederateamericanpride.com/battleflag.html
Anyone laying odds on a False Flag to get things rolling tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteJT - want to run the matrix and see if we should bump the ThreatCon for the SC region?
Not an FF per say, but I'm betting on a full tour de force, replete with multiple arrests for "illegal weapons" among the protesters.
ReplyDeleteYet more "proof" that we're a bunch of crazies "clinging to our Bibles and guns".
That's more where I was headed. Uncle Sugar wouldn't go this big unless they felt confident.
DeleteI've mentioned elsewhere: Tomorrow will be a very good litmus test of how likely it will be for any of us to realize Liberty in our lifetimes. We'll see the nature of our neighbors - will we see grit, or a decided lack thereof?
The state can technicality their way into saying the state can't fly the flag, but I don't see how they can stop thousands of private citizens from flying their own confederate flags- on state grounds or not. THAT is just a pure 1st amendment issue. I think that is one example of how we should play the psyops game.
DeleteWell I just it watched on Faux News and it looks like the South Carolinians rolled over and let it happen and stinking Lindsey Graham is running his traitorous mouth about what a good thing it is.
ReplyDeleteThe litmus test has been administered. Everyone received and "F".
Make preparations to survive.
Yep - we be fook'ed. The Left is now officially off-leash. They have every reason to be confident.
DeleteLet them be overconfident - it makes targeting easier.
DeleteRemember folks, it is times like these to be taking notes - jot down who celebrates today.
And when the big day comes make sure todays partygoers get a taste of the big shebang...
It is only right and just
THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED
"I've mentioned elsewhere: Tomorrow will be a very good litmus test of how likely it will be for any of us to realize Liberty in our lifetimes. We'll see the nature of our neighbors - will we see grit, or a decided lack thereof?"
ReplyDeleteHopefully, I commented on this responsibly and accurately
in the Threatcon Orange post.
