Contemplation

I'm not sure what I have left to help Patriots through this medium.

Most of you know most of my positions on most topics.  Some of you will never know.

With your help we have done some good work.

Perhaps, soon, it will be time to focus on the local.

All of our projects will continue, from Idaho.  III Arms, III Society, III Chaplain Corps, et cetera.

Combatives will be offered at the Studio, Patriots are welcome.

Perhaps 4 1/2 years is enough.  Maybe there is value in continuing through the elections, which are 40 days away.  Perhaps serving until May, making it an even 5 years, is the prudent course.

Perhaps it is time to lower my profile a bit. The constant bickering and useless battles between Constitutionalists and secessionists and anarchists is old and stale.  Despite words to the contrary, secessionists and anarchists are not really willing to work alongside Constitutionalists to recover Liberty - at least not without persistent mockery and knee-capping.

Who needs it?  Good people are being funneled into a kill zone from within the "Liberty Movement".  I've warned, but I refuse to sit and watch.

Regurgitating acronyms serves as "training" for some.

Many Patriots are pushing the community to head into the shadows, especially online.  I am fundamentally opposed to the shadows unless you are working a caper.  Following the example of John Hancock is where safety exists for the Patriot.  Heading into the shadows, especially online, is to be funneled into the site of the ambush.

I'll serve my term in the III Society.  I'll continue IIIGear.  I'll continue to post here and there.  But I honestly can't see where it has helped any Patriots.

If you need good training for combat, go see J.C. Dodge at Mason Dixon Tactical and Max Velocity.  If you need fundamentals, leadership, and train the trainer skills, go see Tom at DTG.  If you need comms, go see Sparks31.  Need some Red and Blue Team action, go see Georgia Force on Force.  Need food?  Jebadiah Fisher Seed will square you away.  Spiritual guidance from a man who has been there and done it - go see Prepping Preacher at III Chaplain Corps.  Don't forget Bracken. If you need helpon the topic of Militias, Sandman is the Go To Patriot.

WRSA remains the muster point for Patriots.

  1. Heavy sigh.

Sam, it's your ability to sift through information, see trends as they are happening and your ability to cut through the bullshit that keeps me coming back.
The Rah Rah and such understandably grinds on you after a while but for Pete's sake man, things are just starting to get interesting!
I'm too damn old and broken to even day dream about running and gunning but that doesn't mean that some of that old age and treachery business won't play.

Get your chin out of your hands my man and look around at the thousands of people you have already helped and inspired instead of singing the blues.

  3. "But I honestly can't see where it has helped any Patriots."

It has helped in a growing of understanding of the concepts surrounding Rightful Liberty. You have articulated what I have always felt but not found elsewhere (concerning 'law-abiding' citizens for example).

You are challenging the status quo. Asking questions and making points that most others don't see or are too afraid to make. There are those that are right there with you, they just lack the visibility you have acquired.

Too often throughout our recent history have there been movements that were headed towards the restoration of Liberty that just fizzled out or were diverted. Look at JPFO.

I believe that it was you who said it (but I could be wrong), but a firebrand is needed to inflame the passions of our fellow patriots. A Patrick Henry! Liberty or Death!

It is easy to be discouraged with the monumental task that lies before us. Just know that you are not alone. There are those that will stand with you. And there are those waiting to have their eyes opened.

    Yours in Liberty,
    Byron

  4. For your consideration before you make a final decision. I started reading your blog and I started understanding what was happening around me. You connected the dots. I read for a long time before I jumped in and 'got involved'. Point is, you may have a bunch more out there like I was. Soaking this up, connecting dots, and thinking about how they are going to proceed. We all know it's coming and "In the absence of orders....."
Don't give up on us yet please.

  5. the quality of any website and it's effect reflect back directly on the person(s) behind it... you, Sam, have deeply effected far more Patriots and those who have become such than you realize... personally, I would not have been in DC at the Grand Re-Opening of our National Monuments and Re-Delivery of the O'Barrycades if not for you, your attitude and this site in the time frame leading up to that event almost a year ago... now, without shame or regret, I'm looking for the next fight to join... I keep a bag packed for just such an occasion...

I too am a bit too old to actively "run & gun" but I will do everything else physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually I can to restore Rightful Liberty and to help and support others in the effort...

Galatians 6:9 "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

We all get weary. We all want to quit("lower our profile") at some point or another. You are definitely not alone in this nor are you alone on the present field. Can you delegate anything to perhaps lighten the load - even temporarily...???

  6. K,

I am relatively new to the Liberty movement and even newer to the II society, being a Colonial. I read a lot of different III blogs every day to stay informed, and while WRSA is the go-to sight for news, you are my muster sight for inspiration which is needed in these increasingly dark times for our nation. You are strong-willed and non-forgiving, projecting your strength through your words. I hit your sight EVERY DAY. Our nation's future would seem a little dimmer without you out there, giving insight and advice to the men and women who look to you for guidance. Would it be too crass to say you are Patton for patriot's souls?

In my church and in life. But the 20% get a lot done. You made a post a few days ago...seems relevant.

You've helped me a lot and I thank you for all you do. I'd bet dollars to a doughnut (I like chocolate) I'm not the only one.Yeah the conflicts grate and wear down a guy, welcome to the human condition. Maybe some R&R and a better pace are in the mix for you. You can't let the detractors wear you into ineffectiveness. We all know this is a long haul, not a sprint. It's not just your knowledge and rare ability to communicate on vital things that is what will always be of high value, more than anything, for me, it's your attitude. That "tude" is inspiring and contagious. Do what you think you must. I've read everything you've posted and I never have seen even a hint of you ever being anywhere than at the tip of the spear. Find a sharpening stone and stay the course.
"it's about III to III and III for III"....what PP said + 1

Thanks K, God bless and Godspeed.

  10. "I am fundamentally opposed to the shadows unless you are working a caper."

Good line. There's a reason for that, you know...it's because you recognize that your life--any person's life, technically--isn't the sort of thing that ought to be hidden. But that's what they do...kill the splendor and glory, while they heap on the guilt and fear. Thugs may enforce it, but intellectuals dreamed it up.

Anyway, what everyone else said. Plus whatever you decide, the important thing about Rightful Liberty is that it's yours alone to decide. Socially, that's ALL that matters.

  11. "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous WOLVES enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Therefore watch, and remember." Acts 20:28-31

"over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers" Like it or not, this is you! This is US! The vast majority of our population has no clue where we are heading. Take a look at the UK, take a look at Ireland. They are well and truly fckd. The crime is out of control. The "authorities" lost the initiative years ago, maybe decades. We are clearly headed there to that bad place. You have been gifted with vision and sometimes that vision burns like salt in a wound. Evil counts on good men to quit. God is counting on us to stay the course.

Although you can not see the fruits of your labor, you have no idea how many people you have changed. I guarantee you it's more than you think.
    Don't quit. Ever.

  14. Ephesians 6:10-18New International Version (NIV)

    The Armor of God

    GODSPEED!
[B]strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

  15. My life went from standing on the deck of the Titanic, watching the iceburg rip the hull open and expecting nothing but helplessly watching the disaster unfold to having you step up and yell, "man the lifeboats!" and realizing that I should never give up.

I'm talking about the way the USA is going and the the way that the Citadel Project has given me a plan and a hope tor the future. My lifeboat is not a place in Idaho, though that's where it "floats". It's a group of people who share a belief in Rightful Liberty and a willingness to band together to support it and live it. Without you these people would never have come together.

All that being said, step back and take a breath. Let it go for a while if need be. You are doing what not one in a million men can do. It's difficult, it's tiring, it's a strain on body and soul to maintain the fire AND lay it in front of a harsh and judgemental public day after day.

See you and Holly in Idaho. I'm 57 years old, folks, and in some ways I feel that my life is just beginning.

  16. K,

Remember Mercer and Gallipolis and Tarboro.
Words have Power. I know of a couple dozen men in the hills of West Virginia and Ohio who have been emboldened, inspired and sometimes shamed into action by your words.

I know of a dozen Patriot families who are more skilled and better equipped as a direct result of your actions and affiliations.
The path we are on is long and oft times it wearies the soul and has great costs. (I have lost my family to the struggle), but we can not turn aside, nor lay down our burden.

Take time if you need it, But never for one moment think that your words and deeds have not made a difference.

  17. Hey Kerodin,

    (captaincrunch)

We need you to continue more now than ever.

You have influenced more people than you realize and your blog has educated and informed many people 'coast to coast.
If you are getting burned out, maybe do a 'weekly post of some sort and if something flares up like another "Bundy Ranch" then you can go daily or hourly.

The most important thing for the liberty movement is "Local, Local, Local"

Doing anything on a large scale is a true 'clusterfuck' (pardon the bad word) Its up to us (your visitors on this blog) to work on things that are local, where it be moving fences blocking monuments back to their owners or getting out supplies to volunteers on the Bundy Ranch affair.

That's where you can influence people the most. They need to be organized at their own A.O. and this blog kinda acts as forum and sounding board for stuff, as well as a 'classroom or sorts' where we can learn stuff that may not get discussed on the national media level.

Kerodin' I hope you continue your involvement even if its on a part time basis.

  19. Sam, I have never posted anywhere. Want to let you know you are motivational and inspirational, and I also rely on the info/intel you supply. Every patriot has to make the choices best for themselves. I've taken your CQB III. I think many of us, have times when things seem overwhelming and we wonder is the effort to reach out worth it. Why are people not getting it? Some do and that makes it worth it for me. But I am discreet and am very local and selective. You have the courage to be upfront at full face value. Patriots like yourself are invaluable. You inspire me, I may inspire a few others, and so on. Regardless you and Holly will always be welcome in my lodge.

  20. Free Citizen here. I agree with all that has been said. You have made us realize that we are not alone. You have made us come together, train harder, and plan for the future of this once great country. I have been "different" all my life. Now I realize that "They" are the ones that are different, not me. Keep the faith. You have many of us at your back.

  21. This past week I have been doing a lot of self introspection, I know, dangerous isn't? I have been trying to understand what it is we are fighting for. Throwing off the manacle of tyranny, the powers of evil working to destroy our world, the fanaticism of misguided religions. As I thought through this list, seeking the singular distilled goal we fight for, I concluded we are fighting for our freedom or more to the point, our Liberty. Now understanding that it is liberty at the foundation of this war, I must now ask what is liberty? Have we in our lifetime ever experienced liberty, freedom or self responsibility?

I think more is the question, what do we do with liberty when we win? In this country, we have a majority population of “give Me's,” they believe it is the responsibility of the government to provide for them, it is their constitutional right to have an Obama phone. As a thought exercise, try to imagine personal responsibility and freedom suddenly thrust upon the great mass of the unwashed. Will this allow us to achieve our goal or does it ignite pure anarchy in this world?

For me, the question is now, do I step forward and fight when the war starts and maybe lose my life or do I step back into the shadows and wait for wars end? If I wait, I may not like or even be able to deal with the world that is left, so maybe I should fight in-order to shape the outcome.

Oh who am I trying to kid, the war will come to me whether I step forward or hide. So this is not about liberty or a great cause, it's about staying alive.

  22. K, I would love to wax poetic about this but as I am but a simple man I believe the Good Book says it best."The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." You have taught many of us how to go about being our brothers keeper in one way or another. I have moved out of the shadows and am currently serving as the First Sargent for the Georgia Militia. If it was not for you I would have continued with my small tribe and we would be wiped from the face of the earth. With your encouragment I have moved to a place where I can use what I learned in 12 years of service and pass it on to younger generations who have the combat skills but not the cold war mindset. I agree with many, step back take a week off, work on one piece and resituate yourself for the fight about to come. In Brotherly Love, Hang in there or we will all hang together.

    1. Talk about the right thing at the right time. Thanks, Curt. Maybe one day we'll all be able to get back to our lives. Comments like that at least make iit conceivable.

Interestingly, selfishness may be the only thing on Earth that even can be equitable. Well that, and how many lives we each get to live. Happily in the War Against Tyranny, none of that matters. All that matters now is a win.
